Lindner Hotel & Therme Binshof Review

Spa was good, staff was super friendly, room unfortunately not four star moderate .. the decor was old-fashioned, the bathroom was almost fallen apart. The food was not in the price-performance ratio ... Portions were more for children..pishly not four star moderate

Beautiful surroundings, very quiet yet central location, great hotel atmosphere, despite Corona we had a very nice short vacation.

Hello, unfortunately our last visit to the Lindern Hotel in Speyer was not positive. On arrival the pre-booked 'washroom' was not available, although it was stated in the profile and when booking on the Internet. The very friendly receptionist was not able to reserve the desired room by changing the booking, but we got a free visit After the first night we unfortunately found a (toe) nail in our bed, the complaint at the reception was accepted without a reaction from the staff. Furthermore, the selection and the quality of the food offered at breakfast is no longer up to par from earlier (selection is probably limited due to Corona, but this should not affect the quality). For these reasons, the visit was not satisfactory for us, we are unfortunately considering booking another hotel in Speyer after very nice visits in recent years Yours sincerely, M. Sprott

Very friendly staff, hotel / room very clean and attractive.
Wellness area invites you to relax.
Sauna infusions are varied.
We booked a couple spa treatments and were very satisfied.
Overall, we had a very nice relaxing break.
Would we repeat at any time.
We felt very well and enjoyed the time to the fullest.
We were very satisfied and can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

Very loud, the last time was about 7 years ago, unfortunately I can say that during this time you had not managed to repair the defective expansion joints in the toilet, which is a no go for a 4 star hotel.
A pity

Hotel in a quiet location. Very clean and modern rooms. Venue modern and spacious. The staff was very nice and tried hard to make the guest a great stay. Breakfast is rich. Lunch varied and varied. Tastefully made that it tastes everyone. The parking lot is not paved, thereby Tegen dirt on the vehicle and the shoes or trolley is dirty. Rooms 500-509 can not be accessed from the front desk without a corridor outside.

high pricing, great saunas / spa but partly at company events a bit too loud which sometimes the peace to relax, as unfortunately not everyone knows how to behave. Room partly outdated and the food too expensive, you can spend a lot of money on food if it is worth it, but the value for money is not always right here. Great Gastro outdoor area, but staff in the service partly indisputable as if it were the first working day. The hotel claims 4 stars for which I think are not justified for all areas. Great location and good infrastructure.

We had booked an arrangement, SPA was ok, the food even the service seemed bored. Also, in our opinion, we have simply paid far too much for 2 days. Price performance is not right here. Too bad.

Room 115 I can only recommend the hard of hearing. In front of both windows of the room there are ventilation devices, which run through the night. Airing and sleeping at the same time was not possible for me. A change of room the front desk could not accomplish.

Super nice wellness area. Gave me an overnight stay for my birthday and got a nice big room. As a hotel guest, I didn't like the fact that I had to pay extra for the parking space. I also had to pay extra for the sound bath - that didn't come across when I booked it.
A beautifully decorated table was reserved for me for breakfast. I thought it was really nice.

All in all, we were able to spend two wonderful days here. The new sauna area is very successful. The utilization of the wellness area was okay. We had booked some treatments including the rasul and hammam. These applications were pleasant. However, the royal massage was very disappointing, and the treatment was far from the description. Quick petting and little massage. The staff were all very friendly, but unfortunately that doesn't make the massage any better.
The room we stayed in was clean but not particularly inviting, although we were told that it was a V.I.P. Zimmer acted whatever that meant. Because we couldn't see anything special about it. The swing doors to the bathroom were very loud and annoying.
The gastronomy has clearly declined - from the menu to the service to the breakfast we have noticed a significant deterioration compared to previous stays.

We stayed for one night in the hotel Lindner. As soon as you are in the hotel area, you feel like on vacation. Everything was very Mediterranean. The staff throughout polite, friendly and accommodating.
Spa very nice. We will come back. And then take the wellness treatments.

We were only there for bathing and sauna. Was a birthday present / coupon. The price / performance ratio is not right. Entrance fees are far too high. For this money you can visit a thermal bath and then a restaurant. Saturdays very overcrowded and only in a sauna every hour infusions, so it came to the infusion time to sardine feeling. Positive is the staff. Very friendly. At the reception all locations were explained exactly.

Very nice hotel, great location and proximity to lake swimming as well as Speyer's City center. Wonderful courtyard areas.

Unfortunately I can only rate the hotel as bad. The hotel is very expensive, but the service is bad. The staff was totally overwhelmed with breakfast. We waited 1 hour and even after our complaint it didn't work out any better. The wellness area was okay. We were well served here. The location is also rather bad. The lake landscape shown on the website is not accessible. We will not come back.

Ideal for a few days of wellness and relaxation. There are also some easy bike tours in the area, and mountain biking is also possible in the wider area. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
Breakfast buffet was very good, only the quality of the food in the restaurant (we had half board) did not match the otherwise good standard. Then rather go to the Spanish restaurant integrated in the house, the quality is much higher here.

The offer is consistent. The staff is very approaching and has been polished. Prices are more at the top level. Somewhat strange it is already there, that I was charged 5 for parking. I've never been asked to pay parking in a hotel I've stayed in - not even in big cities. Despite high prices, beer prices are still acceptable. It is unacceptable that the beer was not enough chilled and served with a British froth. There is a need for action. If a beer is served at room temperature, the glass must have started - otherwise the temperature is too high!

Wonderful breakfast selection. Very good kitchen in the evening.
We are from England and like to drink English Breakfast Tea with milk.
Unfortunately, we could not explain this to the staff.
Tea and milk were often missing.
Once we had a message on the phone, but could not open it. Nobody could help in the reception. You can not use the phone until you get the message

Booked an arrangement at short notice for the wedding anniversary: got a very nice room in a quiet part of the complex and the options (honeymoon) that were ordered were implemented very well.

The spa area is nice, but does not offer enough relaxation options in rainy weather. In the Spa Bistro the service staff was completely overwhelmed with the preparation of the cocktail recommendation, so we changed our order to free the waitress from their helplessness. Otherwise, the Binshof Spa offers a pleasant ambience, the various saunas are great and the infusions are fun.

For dinner we had a nice table and we were served attentively. The 4-course menu was very tasty and perfectly crafted. I also praise the kitchen for this.

We were surprised by the drink prices, which are sometimes above average, even for a 4 * hotel. That doesn't really fit the picture.

The high price level was also reflected in the bar, which is also a contradiction that also tarnishes the picture.

All in all, we had a nice stay that did justice to the occasion.

As long-term regular guests, we note:

The service at check-in used to be faster, friendlier and more competent. So we had to overhear when they asked whether our Zummer was "dirty" or whether we could just let in. Something like that is at least unprofessional.

Allocating seats in the restaurant took over 20 minutes because a very long queue had formed. In the restaurant we were served with a delay.

Spa top, OK hotel, food flop ... so you can summarize briefly what we have now experienced in two independent visits over the last few years (currently now June 2019). Spa is super clean and nice, staff helpful and friendly. The hotel is fine, but our room rather shabby and not very inviting, windows (Gibelfenster in the attic) from the outside really incredibly dirty. The low point, however, is still the restaurant (Salierhof), in which you (at least with HP) umcharmantes upscale Convenience food gets served. We will certainly not do that to us anymore, even if the package price was very cheap.

Hotel was excellent. Only things I can fault were the wifi didnt work and the aircon unit wasn't the best.

Had booked a double room through Lindner Nights. We only had an attic room for this booking. This is so narrow that I almost get claustrophobic, shabby and very dirty. This room shouldn't exist in such a hotel.
After our complaint we were given a decent room. I then complained to the management of the house, but received only succinct, meaningless answers. They don't care at all about the individual guest, especially if they are booked via the nigths points.
This was our third time that we were treated so badly there.
It was also our last time in this house. There is simply no point in spending nice days there.

The room had scratched, old furniture and a dirty carpet. The house service was informed but did not act. Too little staff everywhere. There is no space for hotel guests in the hotel's car park, as visitors to the swimming pool block it. Very bad price / performance ratio.

Due to the Korana, the offer was unfortunately somewhat limited, but still good.

A beautiful hotel, nice rooms with friendly staff and a good restaurant and bar, is a great place with plenty to do around the hotel.

We were actually only looking for transit accommodation so that we didn't have to drive to the Technik Museum Speyer in the middle of the night, but could arrive in peace the evening before. Therefore price was a main criterion. Should only be cheap.
That this was the case at the Hotel & Spa Lindner, of all places, was a bit of a surprise. I paid less for an adult and a child than in other normal hotels for an overnight stay with breakfast. Here, however, we had the use of the sauna and wellness area as well as the swimming pool included. Of course with provided bathrobes, slippers and towels.
The staff was very friendly, the room was large but - probably due to the special price - not very modern. I've had better. Nonetheless, clean and absolutely fine. The sauna area itself is very nicely laid out, clean and really relaxed us for a few hours.
Dinner in the in-house restaurant was also good. We each had a burger, which was definitely more than enough in terms of quantity. The offspring thought their chicken burger was great, according to the description I would have expected my Giant burger to be a bit heartier. It was tasty anyway. However, the price is also quite demanding. The food is not cheap, I'll go as far as - including the excellent service - to speak of something expensive. However, the ambience is also very pleasant.
The TV in the room was a little far from the bed or too small (depending on which point of view you prefer ;-).
For the price we paid, this was first class accommodation with all the zips and zaps.

Once again it was a nice stay despite Corona. Only our assigned room was disappointing A small window with a side view of the pool. The air conditioning was so loud that you couldn't sleep. So made up and sweat a lot at night. Terrible, but luckily it was only for one night. At breakfast there was a Corona-related traffic jam at the buffet. Only 4 people with gloves and mask were allowed to enter. That made for a never-ending queue. The staff tried hard to bring the desired drinks, coffee, juice, etc. to the tables. All in all it was a nice stay.

Wellness area is very good, no wishes remain. Unfortunately during our stay a sauna in the outdoor area as well as Hamam and Rasul out of order.

We felt very comfortable in the two days, enjoyed the atmosphere and relaxed for 2 days.

The Binshof is beautiful in itself, the wellness area is small but nice and you have the chance to switch off.
What we didn't like was the friendliness of the staff at the front desk. No one except one employee managed to meet our questions / table reservations / SPA equipment with a smile or even a look. In terms of the hotel's own positioning, this is rather surprising.
In the hotel's own restaurant, the price-performance ratio for dinner is unfortunately not at all. The quality of the food is disproportionate to the prices.

Breakfast is great! There is nothing to complain about. The rooms are clean and as described, the spa area with the outdoor area is beautifully designed.

Price really at the pain threshold but just great. Room and spa great and the dinner in menu form as well as the breakfast. Nowhere to complain, except my stolen swimming trunks

We spent a wellness day here and were very satisfied with the new Abiente and the super beautiful infusions. The food in the spa was very good and inexpensive.
The parking lot to the bathroom should be free, that would be nice.

The only downer was the cleanliness of the room. I had taken off a black shirt and was wondering why it suddenly had gray spots on it.

With the treatments you can switch off wonderfully and let your mind wander ... that's exactly how it should be.

Atmosphere in the hotel and sauna area would have deserved 5 *, but not the rooms. This is not because of the size, but mainly because of the unadorned bathroom area. To place a - from today's perspective - a mini TV in a column of furniture may have been funny at some point ... Neither sound nor viewing angle suggest comfort. The kitchen services are, you have to state that, extremely changeable. Made salads in the evening buffet taste very good on the one hand and reach the level of a youth hostel on the other. One evening you get very tasty slices of veal, just to be annoyed by tough and tasteless beef tournedos the next evening. This is all the more annoying because the hotel has a mostly pleasant audience and actually invites you to come back. The town of Speyer, by the way, too.

Great shop. Had fun, especially for breakfast. Fitness room ingeniously equipped. Prepare stubbornly for a hotel in the country.

Good motorway access, unfortunately parking and underground parking is chargeable. Room partly without air conditioning or air conditioning is turned off as soon as you leave the room. Light and air conditioning only work with room card. Wellness area currently closed due to renovation. Service poor. Drink orders are not accepted, cutlery was missing several times, trash cans in conference rooms are emptied during the current event. Presentation case only poorly equipped. Room nice and big. It was a nice weekend. The room was very large and had everything you could need. We really liked the wellness area and we were able to switch off there very well.

We didn't feel comfortable. The spa area does not invite you to relax. Light, chimes or atmospheric atmosphere - none. The TV in the much too small, warm room did not work. This could not be remedied on request. The table reservation did not arrive in the restaurant. The restaurant was empty, uncomfortable and the service was not informed (wine recommendation). Communication problems with French staff. At breakfast the plate was taken from our faces and we always felt watched. The total package of hotel, restaurant and wellness area is not recommended.

Especially the kitchen has to improve by 90%. Open wine list could be rich, spec. with local wines.

On the whole it is a good hotel but slowly a renovation (room and indoor pool) needed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For dinner was unfortunately a lack of staff. We had to wait a long time for our appetizer and drinks and then it was still cold and the beer stale. The buffet style food was delicious as was the breakfast. As a little tip: drinks menu should have a smaller form. The cards are too big and heavy and there is no space on the set table to put them down. So you have to hold them all the time until the service rep comes by. The sauna area is nicely designed and you can relax as well as the Klanglichtbad.Echt great. There was still a little banko in the bristro. We stood at the counter and wanted to order coffee and were skilfully ignored until we contacted the service representative after 5 minutes if we could order something. She has passed 3 times without comment before, although we were visible to order at the counter. Comment from her. Sit down then I'll come to you. We wanted to take the coffee with us, but now we sat down. Then an Auzubildene served us, this was shy but again very nice. Although have waited a long time but now good.

In this hotel, the cleaning of the balconies is probably always forgotten. After our arrival in the dark we went to the unlit balcony and unknowingly brought Vogelkoth in on the carpet - a promised cleaning was not the next day. We have been regulars for about 18 years, and each visit asks us again: have you ever been to our house? We are looking for a new time-out hotel !!!!!!

Two wonderful days spent here, with great weather and very attentive staff. The spa area is awesome.

The hotel actually deserved 5 points, but the restaurant, at least if you order a la carte, falls significantly. In terms of price, you should actually be able to expect gourmet quality. Unfortunately, what was offered was far from it. If you want to eat well, you definitely better go to Speyer, whose wide range of restaurants offers a more reasonable price / performance ratio and higher quality.
We'll definitely book again at the Binshof - but eat in Speyer ....

Last weekend we were your guests for a wellness break and were very impressed by your hotel, the offer and the service. We were booked into a higher quality room for the weekend free of charge and that was a very nice first surprise. The wellness and sauna area was inviting, not too crowded and we really liked the infusions.

The evening menu from the buffet exceeded our expectations. Both the quality of the food and the service staff were excellent. The fact that we could easily continue to stay in the spa area on the day of departure and that beyond the scheduled time, were just one more confirmation for us to know a great wellness offer in the Rhine Neckar region with you.

We will definitely be back and I am happy to recommend you to others.

Room, good. Missing has a fly screen, as too many mosquitos, in the evening, the door opening have prevented.
Breakfast and dinner were sufficient. Especially the breakfast was very rich.
Spa area, satisfying. Too few beach chairs in the outdoor area of the Textielwiese. General area of the textile meadow too small. A ladies - Toillette in the spa area questionable. Spas, good. Sauna area, good.
Bistro in the spa, good. Reception, good. Friendly staff and very helpful.
Poor parking, additional parking charges, despite hotel stay and bad turning ability in the arrival area as well as bad directions and misleading to the parking lots. The parking situation and the way to the hotel on a poor road allows us to rate the location with poor. The floating in the solegrote was pleasant. The overall grade is rated "good" by us.

Nice and clean .. for the guests who have never been there, they give little information. But in the restaurant everything was great I would give more stars. Attentive, clean and super nice.

Dinner good, spa area puristic and completely overpriced.

We were there on a Sunday. We paid 59 for one day. So we thought we could all use swimming pools.
Not even close. The beautiful brine pool costs an additional 13 per use. We only found out about that when we had already paid the entrance fee. All in all it was totally overpriced. For 59 we would have expected complete access to ALL pools.
For 24.50 I went to the Miramar in Weinheim a day later. I recovered much better there.

We love coming here because of the great pool / sauna area.
However, there is also something to improve:
1.) The outdoor pool was not exactly very clean, there is still potential here.
2.) Perhaps a sign with the generally applicable sauna rules would be helpful, there are guests who do not seem to be aware that one takes a shower after the sauna before using the pool ...
