everything clean, room OK, staff very friendly, but the dinner was a complete letdown.
What was on the card was good, but there was almost nothing on it. At least in Corona times, a menu includes a meat dish and not just guinea fowl. I booked and paid for a 4-course menu, but only got 2 courses on Sunday and put together a "menu" on Monday from the reduced menu. Even in Corona times this is not enough for a 4 star hotel. And a stay depends on food.
In advance I was tel. confirmed that all saunas were open, but only the panorama sauna and the sanarium were open. That can be mentioned, because we booked the hotel for wellness. In Corona times I would not recommend this hotel. I cannot judge how the service is in normal times.

Super friendly and helpful staff, super clean, very good organization, delicious food. Only very full on Saturdays.

Complex and somewhat outdated facilities, pay parking seems an abuse because, having nothing around, are the same customers who stay who pay 8 / day. The Spa is fine but should delimit well the nudist area of the non-nudist since there are areas that are all mixed and can become uncomfortable. The food seemed good but could be improved, as was the service. I found the beds very comfortable.

Really bad room. Mobile air conditioner was extremely loud and the room still did not cool (sunny side). When opening the window came a fat smell since the room was above the kitchen.

Enjoy good food in a relaxed atmosphere ..... fun and you go back happy .... only drawback .. you have to pay parking fees. Find that would have to be included in the price, if you eat there in the restaurant.

yesterday we were invited to dinner with 6 people. Delivery of the order 19:40.
Grated bread hard and dry, spread only on request. First meal 20:30. My vegetarian tortellini a cheek of the kitchen, at least 20 minutes under the heat lamp. These were the worst I ever got. The information that would be quite fresh, we found a lie, all have tested one and put them aside. Dessert was offered at 22:30 on demand. Incidentally, I have waived further courts, found a complete letdown, esp. If you want to eat with good customers.

Parking fees as a restaurant guest with 5?

We were already for the third time and this time for a wellness weekend at the Dorint in Speyer. The junior suite is highly recommended. Newly renovated, nice bathroom and very quiet. The sun shines into the room from the east and west.
The wellness area was quiet, clean and relaxing as usual. The outdoor saunas could use an update.
At dinner it was an advantage that we knew the location and asked for a table in the winter garden. The lady at the front desk respected the request and after 5 minutes we had a great table. We really like the idea of eating the food as a buffet. Also that first gear is brought. Thumbs up.
We were a bit irritated after breakfast. We were used to being able to use the wellness area all day at no extra charge. When we asked the wellness counter it was said that it was so full that we had to pay. Well ... annoying.
When checking out we ask the friendly staff member at the reception and she went with us to the wellness bar. Suddenly everything was not a problem and we could use the wellness area at no additional cost. This was anything but full, but very empty.
Conclusion: Without asking we would have been a little annoyed, but it was a relaxing two days without children, -)

Prima Wellness hotel with a large spa area, also Textilfrei

Rooms are spacious with seating. Large bathtub bath. Beautiful spa and spa area with a well-kept sauna area. Nice, attentive staff. Only the menu was not mine. But who is there by car (without a car, the hotel is hardly to reach) has at any time the possibility to drive the short way to Speyer. On the whole, I can say here as in other Lindner hotels "highly recommended"!

We can only take advantage of the "Wellness with overnight stay" offer on weekends.
We don't do that very often, but have done so regularly for 6 years.
For two years we have had to observe that it has, unfortunately, become mass production and the quality of the evening culinary pleasure has lost a lot.
The atmosphere and service are chaotic, hectic.
The food not particularly appealing and disappointing.
Unfortunately, we were also unable to order ala carte.

Service is catastrophic. A lot of waiting time until someone comes to the table. A lot of time later the order comes. The room was clean and pleasant. Director of gastronomy does not know how to organize the work. The bistro from the spa area was very good.

For the daily price of 59, - we expected more. The price itself would have been okay if you could spend a day here, but unfortunately the offer doesn't match that.
In addition, you will be asked to pay another 13 per person for the Sole Grotto and even the parking lot is chargeable.
The already small rest rooms or places were always occupied with towels and despite the presence of staff, something was not paid attention to and prevented.
Even in the bistro you can quickly get rid of a lot of money, so there is really nothing that would justify the price.
When leaving, the ladies at reception didn't even care how you liked it.
Conclusion: a nice experience, but one that you don't need anymore and that you get far more on offer for the same money elsewhere.

The hotel is nice, but in several places modernization needy. The mobile air conditioners in the rooms are well-intentioned, but the volume is deafening. Soil showering should be standard in such a home. Very nice are the sauna area and the bathing area. The kitchen is good but not very good and the menu at these temperatures (34 degrees and more) miss light, small dishes. I really liked the wellness treatments.

I wanted to make an offer. Information when booking, there would be no more rooms. Then suite booking in the new wing, surcharge 340 euros. Upon arrival, a room in the ALTEN tract, which I already occupied in other stays on offer, now it was rented as a junior suite. Just annoying and rip-off !!!
Also the food was anything but good. Soup was MAGGI-flavored, mashed potatoes were raw potatoes, and that for the price. I was used to Binshof Other.
The service was very attentive and nice.

We had booked with sound grotto. However, this was not on the map, so we had to leave the sauna area, had to wait 10 minutes between well-dressed guests at the front desk in bathrobes to get a working key, the problem being that the cards did not work, the keys were already known could have been spent correctly in advance. Whereby the solution, that the Spa guests meanwhile at the normal reception queuing is unfavorable anyway.
Food and service were otherwise very good.
However, I find it inappropriate that one night twice park fees are charged.

For rest and relaxation looking for just the right thing. The wellness area leaves nothing to be desired. The restaurant "Salierhof", with its beautiful conservatory and its nice staff, give the hotel an extra charm. The food was the best. We recommend. Otherwise we were very satisfied with our stay. Hotel romantically situated outside of the city between the fields. This location is a very good basis for a lot of peace and quiet and maximum relaxation. The facility is very clean and the staff very nice and helpful. The interiors and exteriors are nicely decorated. Many details, such as the pond with fish, have been thought of. Many corners of the outdoor area are furnished in a beautiful rustic style.
You can go for a walk or jog in a relaxed setting in the immediate vicinity. For those who prefer water, there are good opportunities in the in-house pool. Sufficient parking spaces are provided both above and below ground. You should definitely follow the sign Parking (the road with the right of way) and not the GPS, otherwise you won't get access to the parking lot.

At the invitation of my parents, we were at the Lindner Hotel to celebrate my mother's birthday. This was our second visit and we were very happy. And when we arrived our expectations were met: top service at the reception, top rooms and lunch in the hotel's own restaurant was good, accompanied by very friendly service. I would like to emphasize that here - even if I only gave 3 points for the service - the service staff was always friendly and did their best. Why I rate so badly can be seen from the explanation of the dinner.
We got our table and the first thing noticed, the two tables pushed together both wobbled, so that one had to be afraid for the glasses. The friendly service staff, whom we asked for help, explained that it was on the natural stone floor in the winter garden. As a guest, one asks oneself why this was not noticed when setting the tables, or if the fact is known why not immediately tested on wobbly tables. After all, you are a 4 star hotel, but it can happen.
What followed must not happen and if it hadn't been my mother's birthday, I would have got up and left. From the order of the drinks to the arrival of the drinks, 2 inquiries and 50 minutes passed. At the same time as the drinks we had given up eating, but nothing of this had been seen until then. My mother only chose the two starters from the menu, because at 82 the hunger is no longer that great. First course for you was a tomato soup, so no big deal, but even this hadn't left the kitchen yet. We ordered the second round of drinks and admonished the delivery of our food. And yes, you guessed it right, we also had to remind us of this drink order, as well as the food. The mood was at its lowest point, as compensation we were promised not to have to pay for this drink round. And after 1 hour 45 minutes the food actually came. So the tomato soup and our main courses - we had only ordered main courses. While my father seemed satisfied with his fish and my mother sipped her tomato soup, my wife and I lost our appetite. The Mediterranean beef stew gave off a scent like opening a dog food can. The accompanying spaetzle were out of the plastic bag and the green beans were frozen. The meat itself was of good quality, but the preparation was a disaster. It seemed as if the meat with water had been pushed carelessly into the convection oven. Not fried and with the exclusion of any spices and fats. Well, you can argue about taste, but no other judgment could be made about the poor quality, especially when you consider the price: 19.50 euros. Oh yes, my mother's second course came when asked. According to my mother, it was also a technical disaster. With the delivery service, we ordered drinks and the ice cream menu again. The dessert order was taken and we reminded our drinks. What came first Right, not the drinks but the ice cream, to the delight of our daughter and my mother. Angrily we canceled the drinks and asked for the bill.
Our assigned waiter apologized to my father a few times, but the evening was to be forgotten - 4 star hotel not worthy, sad, sad. Thank goodness the breakfast the next day was as good as we remembered it and lunch was excellent again.

After several visits, the impression is confirmed every time. The hotel is in a super quiet location. The service is very friendly, the food in the hotel restaurant neat and the rooms nice and bright. The rotatable TV cabinets I find something unnecessary, but you get used to it. The spa is definitely worth a visit and also very spacious and laid out! We will definitely be back.

a very nice house with a very friendly team in a quiet location, with its own wellness area [which, however, has maintenance jam] and a great kitchen: the Halloween squash dinner - just "super" succeeded. Relaxation and concentration on the adjoining project are ensured ... as far as the own discipline participates. The rooms - whether simple or upscale - guarantee a good stay. The room used by me receives "1+".

- big minus, the oil massage. My gf got a massage there. First you expect to be in a quiet environment to enjoy it, but some people where laughing just outside of the door. Second the massage girl was really inexperimented, she just never put any pressure even though she got told several time. This experience ruined the good vibes of my gf. For a 4 star hotel and given the price of the massage, you don't expect this. Plus after telling this to the staff they could have done a small gesture by covering the coffee or something but no.

Yes, what should I say? First of all, this was my first time here and if I would come back I do not know. Overall, the hotel made a good impression. But there were things that should not happen in a four star hotel. The room was poorly cleaned, dusty and isolated cobwebs, which were not only from yesterday. To eat, there was a buffet. So far so good. Only the mains were tepid and hot. That must have been better, according to other guests, earlier. The starters and desserts were ok. At least the waiters were eager after we complained about the food. To the spa, the area is good and in my opinion sufficient. What we did not like was the extra cost for the brine grotto. 13 is already neat. Our treatments (massage) were good and worth their money. All in all it was ok. But I had hoped for more from the description and the photos. And this is what we have experienced beautifully in other hotels. Maybe you should just do more class like mass ...

On the occasion of a birthday, I had booked the just relax arrangement.
The check-in was pretty chaotic as the reception was almost exclusively occupied by apparently untrained trainees.
When we arrived in the room, we found that it was getting a bit old and rather shabby. The provided bathrobes were rock hard and smelled - uninviting - of large-scale cleaning chlorine detergent. In the SPA area, which was recently renovated, the shower gel dispensers were partially empty, various lights in the Finnish sauna were defective and the entire spa area was equipped with various loungers. Unusual for a 4 * superior ...

The massages booked at the same time differed in type and duration of the treatment, a booked hammam was estimated at 50 for 25 minutes.
The 4-course menu in the evening was served in the restaurant together with at least 50 drunk seminar participants, so the open-plan canteen atmosphere was guaranteed. Conversation was hardly possible due to the background noise. When we fell asleep there were shouts from drunk conference guests who smoked in front of the hotel. Exactly at 6:00 am on the birthday morning we were suddenly woken up by the noise of a rolling suitcase on the cobblestone.
The decoration on the birthday breakfast table consisted of a polyester flower that was already pulling threads, over which a handful of green plastic sand had been emptied, not a good morning from the unprofessional service employees who looked bored and annoyed.
When checking out, the evening menu included in the arrangement was booked again separately on the bill, and the error was only corrected after asking several times.

Conclusion: In a 4-star superior hotel, I expect a corresponding performance for an overnight stay for two people with half board for 500, which was not even rudimentary. Only the service staff at dinner and in the hammam had a standard corresponding to the category of the house, which should be a matter of course.
The staff seemed otherwise rather annoyed and overwhelmed, a feel-good atmosphere never came up.
Summary of the correspondence with the management and board of directors: Nice that you said something, unfortunately a chain of unfortunate circumstances (ergo: but we are not interested).

Seminar hotel with wellness area - not even worth the money!

The wellness facilities and treatments were very nice, but overall better cleanliness and more customer orientation should be ensured. Lint collected under the stairs and in the hallway to the rooms.
The staff did not advise us that the parking fee is only payable at the reception.
The bill was not transparent, supposedly for tax reasons. That can't be the problem of the guests!
It's a shame about the nice stay.

Overpriced ... bad food in hot plates .. Every frozen fish is better than this offered cheek at an exorbitant price! ! ... to drink coffee as a hotel guest from the terrace ... because a larger group had reserved. ..so no chance to sit outside in the sunshine. ..Room dreary and tasteless.

After having personally complained to the management about different impossible conditions some time ago, everything was perfect during the following stay, we read every wish from our eyes; a single fate after complaint apparently. Again I booked 2 nights in Speyer last weekend. That the hotel is not among the bargains is okay, if the rest is right. That was not the case again. The service (in the evening only) in the restaurant was outrageous. Not only did I have to let myself be chewed on by the, presumably, restaurant manager (even though it may be hip this is not part of this category), no, there was also no service. The forces were, although only 1/3 of the tables were busy, simply overwhelmed. Orders were not recorded, you sat for 1.5 hours in front of two empty glasses and the food was unfortunately rather cool than warm.
Furthermore, it has probably changed after the renovation of the house rules. Until then, as a sauna guest not only had the direct area in the building as textile-free, but also the adjacent outdoor area with the cooling pool, a small lawn and the outdoor pool. At the urging of the attracted guests, this has now been changed, textile-free only in the Beriech within the building. Say you sit sweating in the panoramic sauna and then allowed by people in street clothes sitting outside and let cards play (actually happened so). I would have expected a bit more protection than sauna. Sometimes it is no longer possible to cool off in the fresh air without the curious eyes of the attracted guests. This was definitely our last stay at this hotel. Where guest protection within a sauna area is so neglected (how should I please the cool of the outside saunas to cool me down), and you are not too bad is still a price beyond 200 the night, we will not see again. Not to mention the service. Pity...

We were a guest at the Lindner Hotel 9 years ago. At that time, the quality and service of the house was excellent. Unfortunately we could not find this out on our last visit. The hotel seems conceptless and there are many young employees who are haphazard. You wait forever for drinks and at check out you get an invoice attached without a signature that did not belong to us. (We didn't pay them then) Ok for the price, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. It is questionable whether we will come again, which is a shame because the wellness area has been redesigned and looks really great.

Great wellness offer, beautiful sauna area. The massage was a dream !! Too bad that there is no textile-free indoor pool and are priced due to applications and the entrance also more upscale. Nevertheless, you have to pay extra for parking ... the access to the parking lot should also be better signposted. Otherwise, very friendly staff work there throughout. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. For new customers, a site plan is distributed which helps you to find your way around quickly. Great saunas and quiet areas indoors and outdoors.
Parking has to be paid extra, but is relatively cheap with 0.8 per hour.
The entire area was very clean and well maintained.

The hotel is very quietly located near lakes. When we checked in an upgrade was made to our booked room. In the room then first be amazed, because the bathroom with the adjoining toilet was only 1.5 m from the edge of the bed without any separation. We also had no electricity in the room at first, as they had not explained to us at the reception that the key card had to be inserted in a box near the door of the room.

- Mattresses pretty hard
- Main courses at the evening buffet were only lukewarm in rechauds. Even after a notice there was no change.

Stayed for one night. Very nice hotel, very branched and spacious. I like the decor very much, old mixed with modern. The staff should not look so annoyed and be konntidentlicher.
The dinner was excellent only my lamb was unfortunately cold. The Garpunkt great, did not want to let it go back .... it would have been through.
The spa department maintained, a few bins would not be bad, because of the plastic cups where not cleaned up.
Recommendation on slippers would be useful, I fell with the slippers on the inner jacuzzi and hurt myself.

The hotel is in a really nice location. But the rooms are more than showing their age. The plumbing is a disaster. I think the wellness area is very good but the hotel is bad.

Everything was okay so far. Bread was missing at breakfast and baked rolls would not work otherwise nothing to complain about should be changed as soon as possible

We spent a very nice wellness weekend at the Lindner-Hotel (Speyer), with everything that goes with it. Great food, nice ambience and a lot of rest and relaxation in the great SPA area. For stressed city dwellers just the right one :-)

A stay full of contradictions. In the end, the conclusion remains: the price-performance ratio is not right. Over Easter the prices rose sharply due to the season - which is normal and understandable. With more than 200 euros for the night, however, I expect a decent room. The door lock showed clear signs of an attempted break-in and did not convey a feeling of security. The cabinet doors of the extremely beautiful wardrobe were unfortunately with significant damage. The carpet in the large room was a bit old and had some strange dog hair. We also traveled with dogs, which, by the way, wasn't exactly cheap either. With the surcharge you can expect a proper cleaning.
The bad, albeit extremely friendly, advice at reception was also negative. So I asked for a hiking trail through the beautiful and directly adjacent nature reserve. The employee couldn't even tell me whether I had to get out of the entrance on the right or left.
The bike rental was a real disaster. The batteries of the e-bikes were empty, the bikes were supposedly not reserved the next day and the staff simply overwhelmed.
But the vacation was nice anyway. The great location, the beautiful, diverse and clean wellness area and, above all, the good kitchen should be highlighted.

We went to the day spa, the staff was friendly, the changing rooms clean and tidy. The selection of saunas really great! At one point or another, money should once again be taken in hand. The pools great and big. In the sauna area unfortunately little pool areas, so that always a "fight" for beach chairs arose. The gastronomy trumps with 5 * prices but unfortunately not better than in other swimming pools or spas. Absolute no-go is that you have to pay a parking fee.

1. Unfortunately, when booking a room I specifically asked for a room with a double bed.
Was given with 2 beds and when I told the front desk, beds were tied with tape, but mattresses slide apart! No rest, back hurts. And just anger that no one understands it.
2. No water to drink (as always) nobody experienced before arrival - headache and dizziness afterwards (body needs water to drink - unhealthy dry sweating in the sauna)
3. Next to the pool the loungers are very close to each other - no corona concept. In addition, loungers next to the pool and in the tepidarium are always reserved by other guests with towels or bags! There is no free place to rest
4. In the Corona concept, spa receptionist wears chin protection, mask is only on the chin. At breakfast the service staff clears used dishes and cutlery from the tables and with the same hands serves the clean ones for the new guests. Where is the mask requirement and where is it not - not written down - some guests run with, some without, all with confused faces. Everything is very good except for the food in the bistro, which has been 2-3. Decreased years ago.

The hotel is quietly located on the edge of a recreational area. Room was adequate and clean. Breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. The swimming pool and sauna area was great. The only negative point is that the too small parking still extra fee costs.

Great wellness hotel with newly opened spa area. I had 4 days perfect rest. Tip - the hammam application !!! The hotel is located in a very beautiful landscape surrounded by many lakes. The service was excellent, friendly and very attentive. The dinner and the wine very good. Great location for trips to Speyer and in the worth seeing wine villages Deidesheim and Edenkoben or Rhodt under Rietburg. Both about 30 minutes away.

It was just fantastic again. All were very nice and courteous. Room was very nice and I slept very well. Wellness was also great. The food was a dream. To be back soon at the Binshof.
