By far my favorite cinema to go to. Screens and sound have always been great. Friendly and helpful staff. Also run a variety of seasons and retrospectives throughout the year as well as special member previews and screenings. Their Christmas season is always a treat - nothing more special than seeing It's a Wonderful Life on the big screen!

Also has a lovely little cafe which serves soups and sandwiches.

Brilliant niche cinema in Dublin. 4 screens and adopts a wide range of both the most popular films and international films so there is always an option to see that film everyone is talking about or a potential diamond in the rough that you will be able to tell everyone about.
Also sells alcohol and food which you can bring into the screening

Probably the nicest cinema in Dublin. Great selection of films both arthouse and blockbuster. All of the screens have super comfy seats and the sound is great. Tue Cafe has wonderful brownies as well as sandwiches and snacks. Bar downstairs is for those wanting something a little stronger.

Went to see The Irishman and was not disappointed acting at the highest level. Like the Lighthouse and complimentery popcorn and drink on each seat as you enter the Cinema is such a nice touch but please tell us as lots of people came into cinema with popcorn and drink bought from shop ? Finally love the entire layout and seating design of the Cinema but the biggest no no of all is too hot !! Please pay attention to your thermostat as this is the most important thing when you want too watch a movie in comfort. Very sweaty......

Great place for those who don't like the big block buster cinemas, you can bring your glass of wine or a (craft obviously) beer inside the screening room which is a bonus! Nice Cafe upstairs, good movie selection and cool interior. Highly recommended!

Amazing cinema showing only good movies and art house. Check out their membership fees, they work out better than buying tickets if you're a returning patron. Also great selection at the bar and special events.

Cool Cinema with standard prices. However, I was unlucky because I went when Japanese Film Festival was arranged. Tsukiji Wonderland, the documentary film was not finally screened because technical problems. Hopefully, they refunded me the ticket money but it was the following day. So, I would have liked to give 5 stars ... And they are pending till next time (If film had successfully screened +1 and if they did not have to refund money, or in case, they had given money back at the moment +1) Cheers and Thanks

A great place with a cozy atmosphere. Was there to see Jojo Rabbit movie and enjoyed it so much!

Floors are extremely cute and decorations are amazing. Staff is friendly and would recommend you everything you needed. You can buy tickets online or inside, depends on your preferences.

They have a lot of different kind of movies for each season and person. Love it!

My favourite cinema I've ever been to, the lighthouse is my go to place for movies even if somewhere else would be more convenient.

They put on a carefully chosen selection of films with good mix of blockbusters and indie/art-house fare, as well as lots of older films. Their events are always top-notch, I'm particularly fond of their post-film Q&As. The prices are good too, much cheaper than than any other cinema even at event screenings.

The food is good, the standard cinema fare of popcorn and a drink can still be pricey but still better than anywhere else, and the sambos in the cafe are expensive but good. I'll also never be over the novelty of being able to bring a cup of tea into the cinema!

The Light House Cinema is unique as cinemas go. Obviously it shows movies, but unlike most of it's competitors, it shakes it up in the variety department.
It runs special seasons of movies, anything from film noir, horror, screwball comedies to it's current run, Christmas classics.
My family attended a showing of The Muppet Christmas Carol and despite having seeing it umpteen times, thoroughly enjoyed watching it on the big screen.
Our two children are 30 and 25 but there was plenty in the audience under 10 to appreciate the wonder of this classic, maybe for the first time.
The Light House is also more than just a cinema. It has a restaurant and bar and is unique in that you can bring your drink into the screening with you.
There's also a very laid back vibe that you don't experience in other cinemas.
Plus the prices are very competitively priced compared to nearby cinemas.
So a trip to the Light House is recommended for more than a film screening, more like a film experience.
