This place is pretty cool! Has some pretty indie films and re-showing old classics for events and stuff.

based in Smithfield love this place great films and cool cinema plus they do great midnight screening for star wars films on release date.
Best cinema in Dublin. Always a great variety of films and events. Nice little bar & you can bring your beer into the theatre.
Good movie selection, good location, lovely building and a great atmosphere
Spacious cinema with a cool atmosphere and great selection of arthouse and classic films
Small but one of the best cinema's in Dublin. Very well designed, at times it feels more like a modern art museum than a cinema.
In addition to showing art house/independent films, they do themed nights and retrospectives.
This is a great place. If you keep your eyes open on listings you can see some gems. Screens are underground so no phone reception, which is fantastic as it means less lights from people distracting you.
For me this is the best cinema in Dublin. Doesn't just show mainstream releases so great for indie and foreign film fans. Also has great retrospectives and seasons.
Good place for a few drinks and a good movie with your friends. Booze is allowed while you watch
Excellent cinema with interesting films, great value, free membership. Location very convenient for Luas and nearby restaurants
Best cinema in Dublin. Comfy seats and a great vibe.
Nice cinema that has special showings for older movies. BYOB
I go here to experience cinema in a comfortable and modern way. I love the lighthouse for its airness and for its beautiful clean open spaces. Love going here. Definetly a great place to watch movies. Highly recommend it. Christmas time I saw a few live shows here. So worth bringing a mom or aunt or older person to experience. Lots of stairs so be warned if someone has bad legs. But they may have lifts for those who need them. All in all a class venue.
The seats were super comfy and it wasn't crowded AT ALL. Plus, tickets were cheaper than other cinemas around, what's not to love?
This is my favourite cinema in Dublin. A little bit tricky to get to for me, but worth the effort. Great quality screens and sound. Excellent selection of arthouse and mostly non mainstream films are shown. Seats are comfortable. But the most unique thing about this place is the wonderful building. Not the outside, but the inside. It has the most amazing interior. Whoever designed it took a very unconventional approach. At times you are walking underneath the tiered seats of the cinemas. The use of lighting and wood and colour and shape here is extraordinary. It feels like you are in an art installation. And yet it is functional. I have been going here for a number of years, and I am still wowed every time I come back. Highly recommended.
Great film nights, craft beer and excellent facilities. Best cinema in Dublin
Great space to visit, get pastries, coffee, relax and meet up with people. Well worth going for an alternative cinema experience.
Totally different to ordinary cinema. Has seating to relax before the movie and a bar also. Atmosphere is great.
Nice different movie theater, only weird thing was that there's no salt available for popcorn's.
I've always liked the Lighthouse and now they mix arthouse and mainstream its got something for everyone. Just saw BlackkKlansman and it was pretty good but I think the bit that will stay with you for a long time comes at the very end.
It was not up to my expectation. I was expecting much cleaner and more agreeable place.
This place has a very unique feel and atmosphere, there's a more mature and relaxed attitude. Helpful staff and reasonable prices, only failing is the concession stand can be slow moving at times. But not a fault of the staff, it's just a bit small.
Decent screens, super comfy seats and overall atmosphere is so much better than your typical, run of the mill theater.
Great u can buy beer love the seating area at stairs staff are nice place is clean refreshing break from the more plastic bigger cinema s
One of the best movie experiences you will find in Dublin. The tickets are actually cheaper than the nearby multiplex, the seats are more comfortable and the atmosphere is wonderful. It's located perfectly on the luas line and they also offer a wide range of live broadcast performances from the opera and the theater.
Very nice, large, well-kept, comfortable armchairs, good little bar where you can eat something waiting for the film
Nice independent cinema with an interesting design and comfortable seats.
Great cinema, a good alternative to the blockbuster frenzy very good screens and excellent environment
Cute, stylish cinema where you can have a beer or a tea with your movie.
Cinema venue for people who dislike big cinema centres.
Creative institution, great hub for all film lovers; film selection is diverse as it is tasteful; the interior is welcoming, chill and cool; beers and snacks; relatively well priced, the events on are interesting, staff are ACE!
Great cinema with a mix of arthouse and more popular films. They do great special themed seasons and the staff are all very friendly.
Amazing cinema with incredible architecture. The seats are so comfortable you'll want to have a nap in them. Definitely not to be missed.
Lovely movie selection, but they set the speaker volume to 11, which is unfortunate.
Favourite spot in Dublin for catching movies that other cinemas wont be showing. The cinema book club is excellent and the staff are all dead sound
Love this cinema, staff cool & building is great and the movies are good too
My favorite movie theatre in Dublin. Excellent movies and very organized and clean.
Small but wonderful cinema in Smithfield. Good mix of blockbusters and smaller run films. Come early and have a drink in the excellent bar with a ping pong table downstairs. Also you can bring a drink into the screens as well, just ask!
Loved it. Seats ate so plushy comfy and there's plenty of space. Clean too
Love this funky cinema. Great cafe with wonderful coffee, tea cakes and cookies to be had. Very different to all the others. Love how the older movies are put back on the big screen so everyone could experience the classics.
Well organised especially during Covid. Happy it s back open.
Modern small size cinema. It's great for alternative and cult movies
Gorgeous environ of a cinema, showing excellent selection of films. Screens are very clean with really comfy, well spaced seating. Lovely spaces outside screens for socializing. Good choice of beers and wine that you can take in to screenings. Helpful polite staff. Really smashing cinema.
Each screen is high quality. Seats are wide and provide adequate leg space. Bathrooms are usually clean or I have been unusually lucky. Staff us helpful and polite. The waiting areas have ample seating space. I have not used the cafeteria so I cannot say if the popcorn is any good. Small sizes come in a paper bag that makes a little too much noise.
Really lovely cinema with lots of space to hang out before and after a film. They have some big budget films and lots of art house and seasonal stuff.
Perfect spot to have a date . Or even a catch up with friend they have a nice selection of wine and beers and as well a good bunch of cult movies .
Simply the best cinema in Ireland. Brilliant selection of indie, European, Irish and feature films. Comfortable screens and easily accessible for poor mobility. Nice cafe and has a hat downstairs. You can still get popcorn to go with your coffee, wine or beer though! Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. A cinema for blockbusters and cineophiles alike.
Love the space. Mainstream and art films. Has bars inside.
I love Lighthouse, it is modern aswell as always clean. Very cheap movies tickets
Best cinema in Dublin. Best selection of films, most comfortable, most aesthetically pleasing and most affordable to boot. Their membership schemes are super generous and they even have special screenings for parents with babies.
Has some very unique movies across the year, very great place.
Great entertainment for all occasions. Photos from Dublin v Mayo in all Ireland finals, we got on RTE news also
Rated one of the best cinemas in the world and it lives up to its reputation. One of my favourite places in Dublin
It's not your regular Cinema place, it's an experience. Love the architecture and ambience. Colorful chairs, decent leg space. Good screen size, video and sound quality. The food and drinks counter has nice options and finally a place where you can get more that just lame hot dogs and nachos :-)
Brilliant cinema. It supports independent films, re-shows classics and caters for most cinema goers tastes. The only type of movie they generally don't show is a big cheesey Hollywood blockbuster but that is dependent on it's quality and demand. You can buy a beer or wine in the cinema to take in with you. Staff are friendly. Seats are comfortable and the lights in the cinema aren't too bright.
Fantastic cinema ultramodern beautiful design good catering
Amazing place, one of my favourite places to go in Dublin and staff are all lovely.
Best venue in town to see a . Very comfortable seating.Excellent facilities. Cafe. Separate bar with seating to relax per movie. Public car park plus some on street parking.
One of my favorite cinemas in Dublin. A nice relaxed space.
Great little cinema - so different to the large chains. Lovely bar, great atmosphere, comfortable seats and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.
Best cinema in dublin. Im so excited that im going to be living near it.
