A beautifully laid-out building, very comfortable seating and very good services.
Very comfortable, friendly staff, super clean facilities, overall great experience
Great place and nice location car park beside it Luas as well. The do their job of giving a screen to Great works
Fantastic venue, most accommodating staff you'll ever come across
Beautiful cinema with modern, funky decor. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff
My favourite cinema ever. Great coffee. Really friendly helpful staff.
It is not the classic metropolitan multiplex and offers a warm and welcoming environment including a bar area with Maxi screens and DVD rentals. Council membership card is a show per week.
Here tonight for image magazine young women in business event. Never been here before. It's a fab venue, would be great for corporate event or party. Really different and quirky. The cinema itself have a really interesting Christmas schedule which I really want to check out.
This place is a little gem
Great venue! Films there are different than your average run of the mill and there are lots of special screenings and events.
The rooms are comfortable and the bar and concessions excellent
Best picture and especially sound quality in Dublin. Also nice bar.
Love this place, comfy seating, you can drink beer while watching a movie and outside food is allowed! Also, great and diverse selection of movies.
A real cinema lovers place of choice. Excellent selection of movies, food is really tasty.
This is one of my happy places. Always a great film schedule, very reasonably priced tickets, food and snacks. Great film seasons. A good number of premieres and directorial Q&A showings, as well as theatre, opera and ballet showings. Very comfy seats and ideal sized screens. There's a very personal feeling about this cinema. Been a member for 2 years now and it's fabulous value for money. The food in the cafe is lovely too, with a small but very good selection of wine, craft beer and craft cider. They also do parent & baby showings and over 65 showings.
All seats are unallocated so arrive early if you like you sit in a certain place.
Best cinema in Dublin. keep an eye for the festivals and special screenings they host sometimes.
Wonderful place that will show non mainstream works like Japanese films with subtitles which is are rarity today.
Great cinema. They often have older classic movies on. Very comfy seats and the food/drink isnt too badly priced.
Lots of theaters at this cinema and tickets are reasonably priced. Has a student deal and an extra sale on Tuesdays for students. Verify that tickets are not sold out before trekking over to it.
Nice cinema..goid selection of alcoholic drinks you can bring into the cinema
Great selection of indy movies, comfy seats, nice atmosphere.
Went to the Lighthouse to buy a gift voucher a few days ago. Would like to compliment the lady on reception...just incredibly pleasant and helpful. On the voucher it said her name was Christine so take a bow Christine...you are a great asset to the Lighthouse Cinema !!
The Lighthouse has really put the fun back in to going to the cinema. I love the effort they go to to put on their events. Their 5am sold out showing of batman, LCD Soundsystem party and live link up to the after film Q&A. These are the kind of things that make going to the cinema a whole lot more than just checking out the latest blockbuster. Fair play!
The most comfortable cinema armchairs ever. Also very nice and colourful environment.
This is what your dream cinema is. Theme nights. Karaoke. Sing alongs. Everything.
Had coffee here. Lovely friendly staff also at ticket counter.
So this cinema has a name for itself of being kinda hipster like because they have old movie themed weeks and the screens aren't huge. They play new movies too though. I love this cinema. Try it if you haven't before. Great location as well if you wanna get some eats beforehand.
Plush cinema with vintage vibe. Tickets sold online. A great place to see screenings of old movies/anime. Very friendly staff, nice coffee shop and lots of places to sit outside the screens while you wait for your movie to start.
Favourite cinema in Dublin.
Great screening of new,old and foreign films. Love the bar too.
Really like this cinema, even the smaller screens have banked seats so it doesn't feel claustrophobic, good sound.
I like the buzz, sound and feel of the open social areas near coffee docks etc.
Plays Mainstream as well as some independent movies.
Wonderful independent cinema. Watch out for their special screenings
My favourite cinema in Dublin - it's modern, cozy, usually not too crowded, very clean, comfortable seats and cheaper tickets. They have a great selection of films and also show other on-screen events (dramas, operas, ballets). Seats are usually unreserved so it's good to come a bit earlier to catch a good seat. :) Love it!
Amazing cinema with very comfortable seating. Lovely little Cafe which serves alcohol, coffee and food. Screens are good and big with fantastic sound systems
Good modern cinema venue, with cafe. Promoting independent, local and less known films.
The best cinema in Dublin and probably Ireland. They show a good mix of arthouse and quality mainstream movies. They also show classic films on a regular basis. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. The seats are comfortable and projection quality, unlike some other cinemas, is excellent. The cafe is a good option if you need to eat and the toilets are always spotless.
A nice comfortable place to see a movie. The restaurant is good too. Friendly staff always make a visit a worthwhile experience.
My favourite cinema in Dublin. Great listings. V comfortable seats.
Great seating, comfortable with good view of screen. not the easiest place to find, tucked away with not a great sign. Good atmosphere around.
Lovely setting..best cinema for hanging out as well
Attended the premiere screening of Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros 'Dunkirk'. Pleasant atmosphere, attendant and welcoming staff, efficient ushering and security. Decent bar in the basement and gourmet snacks kiosk on the ground floor. A great venue for functions.
Great cinema, very clean and loads of space! Lovely coffee shop
Great cinema with some more interesting films. Ability to have a beer with a film is much appreciated.
This is my favorite cinema - I love it. Spacious contemporary lines and clean clean toilets!!
Oh and the restaurant isn t bad either !!
Nice bright cinema. Bit different from the big cinemas but that's not a bad thing. Seats very comfy and plenty of space
Great cinema, while you pay more , it s more relaxing and plus u can buy a beer
Great art house cinema, comfortable seating, creative programming and special events, nice cafe and bar for chilling out before or after the showing.
Very beautiful place and wonderful screens with very comfortable seats
Amazing building with a really interesting layout. Plenty of food and drinks on offer. Easy to get, just up the road from the Luas. Places to eat and drink all around it too. Excellent films on show here that you might not come across and the place hosts film festivals too.
Absolutely the best cinema in Dublin and probably in Ireland with continental feel. Also you can bring your craft beer for a screening which is great. Comfy seats and great selection of movies!
The only cinema I go to now. Comfortable seats nice food. Full bar and they also often show old films
Best cinema there is in Dublin, comfortable and you can have a beer!
This is a great cinema. Best thing is when they show classic movies on the big screen. Those films you weren't old enough to see the first time round back on the big screen. What's not to love?
I love this cinima it has loads of character. The choice of movies are ecletiv .
Love coming to the Light House (only recently realised it's two words, not one), because of the range of films, the comfort of knowing there's a bar downstairs if one wants to stay on after a film, the staff are friendly and efficient, More
