I had a group of 13 people and the manager turned us down. Reasonably she turned us down because we had one individual in our group intoxicated. We offered to leave the individual in the car with a chaperone and she still turned us down. She then said she couldn't let us in because we were too loud and her establishment just didnt accept that "vibe". We are 13 people so of course we arent whispering. We felt judged because we did not fit in. Most people in the establishment were caucasian and we were the only group with Hispanics and blacks. We tried talking to her reasonably. We have been coming here for the past few years and it's such a shame that this year it just didnt work out. We have beautiful pictures from the past few years and we will not be returning.

First experience Disappointed with the way we were greeted on arrival Not friendly and no personality More interest on having us eat there than selling their wine! Second experience we like the White Merlot and asked the girl about the 10% if they are tagged on media and her response when we told her our phones don t have any service was nobody have service here!!! I ll be back to LI but guaranteed you not your disrespectful Vineyard !

We enjoyed our wine tasting here significantly. The wines were tasty, and the live music really fun to listen to. The vibe is a bit more restaurants than pure wine tasting room at a vineyard, but with good wine, good cheese, good music, and pretty grounds, definitely worth a stop.

Not the best place to bring your dog or kids (small patch of grass for that). If you cant sit outside their inside was little dumpy and tired couches. Whites were ok. Found better, more spacious choices for us nearer to Harbes Farm on Sound Ave (ie Macari Vineyard & Palmer where you Always can score an outside seat/table.)

Second time here and the same rude hostess. We made a reservation a month in advance and when we arrived after driving an hour she made us wait and then told us she couldn t find our reservation. We showed her our credit card confirmation that was clearly from Lieb and that wasn t enough. Lieb wine isn t good enough to warrant such poor service. Never again!

Nice winery with outdoor seating. It is a great spot to make a pit stop when on the road or to chill on a sunny afternoon. It is somewhat hidden as it is off the main road, so you can really enjoy the atmosphere without being bothered by car or foot traffic. Was not too crazy about the wines BUT, the star of the place is the TRUFFLE HONEY. The honey was addictive and pairs perfectly with the cheese. And you can buy a bottle to go!

So, I was not planning on wasting any time to make a review because usually I never do. But the owner and Alicia is being dishonest. We have been coming to this place from time to time and we never had a problem. We always enjoyed our stay and most of us traveled really far to come out there. We were not greeted whatsoever by Alicia and we was very respectful to her. BEFORE even seeing the intoxicated individual because she was still in the car, alicia stopped us at the front and just didnt like our "vibe" as we were approaching the seating area coming from the parking area. Yes we showed up in a crowd and so of course it's going to be some sort of noise with 13 people but we were not, and again I will say, we were not loud to the point where we were obnoxious and disturbing to the public. Before even going to lieb cellars, we went to 4 other locations and they had no issues with us. We even went to two more areas after this incident, and they greeted us with no problem even with the intoxicated individual which was capable by the way of walking on her own. And as I stated earlier, we have been to lieb cellars from time to time and never had a issue like this before. But when the intoxicated individual was taken out of the car, yes! she was intoxicated, I will not denied that. But the part where she says she couldnt hold herself up? That's a lie. We offered to leave the individual in the car with a chaperone as we was only going to be there for 20 mins because we had new guest who had not been to lieb cellars and wanted to go there for the experience. But Alicia, kept making excuses after excuses of why she did not want us there. She mentioned that we have 13 people. We explained to her we dont mind separate tables and spliting the group. Then she came with another excuse that, we are too loud, and stating that "we" dont accept your kind of vibe. She continuously kept making excuses after every way we tried to reason with her respectfully. In no way did any of us disrespect her even after she turned us away the way she did.

EDIT:

This is going to be my last response because I refuse to go back and forth on this. What is really upsetting to the group is how you guys are not even acknowledging what occured from Alicia's service and conduct. A simple apology or acknowledgement from the owner owning up to her employee's service to 13 customers that was not conducted in a professional manner would have avoid some of the others writing reviews on this but excuses and false statements are being made and is making the group upset reading the responses. The owner was not there to witness what happen, we were humiliated in front of a lot of people and everyone was looking us as we was being turned away because it turned into a scene with us all standing as the entrance not being allowed to come in. As I stated, BEFORE the intoxicated individual stepped out of the vehicle and Alicia saw her, she was already turning us away saying we were too loud which was not the case whatsoever, and then she kept changing up the reason why we wasnt allowed and making excuses after one another... the drunk individual, the group is too big, "you're not our kind of vibe" etc etc. And with every excuse, we offered a solution and she refuse to hear anything out that we had to said. Yes some others are speaking out more but Lieb Cellars is not understanding why we're so upset. Personally, I have never been treated that way from any service. This is the first for me. So it's really disappointing. Also, to the owner, did Alicia ever mentioned that she was the one that told us to go ahead to write a review if we would like? I'm sure shes going to deny it but that was what she told us all. ... Either way, you guys wont have this problem from us again because we will not be returning to this place ever again, but some of my friends are either really upset or hurt (given their ethnicity) how Alicia approached us at the entrance and how she conducted herself. Whether it was prejudice or not, its the way you made some of the people in our group feel

I've been a fan of Lieb's wines for many years however, I only seldom have opportunity to visit their tasting room. Today happened to be the perfect day for that, sitting outside on their patio, enjoying their dessert wine and macaroons. Frankly, I could have sat there all afternoon looking out at the neighboring farms and enjoying the cool air with my wife.

Lieb has a nice portfolio of wines. I tend to lean towards their reds but, today I thoroughly enjoyed their dessert wine and their sparkling rose.

A nice out of the way treasure of a winery on the north fork. Tucked away at the corner of Cox and Oregon. Tasting room was well appointed and the staff treated us like gold. The Bridge Lane White Merlot is a must try. Not even remotely close to its pink sister. . . Wow! I was impressed.

Wine tasting flights were good and had a nice variety. Cheese selections were also incredible. (Must try the Black Truffle Pecorino). Our server (Alice) was very attentive and client oriented. They have a very strict policy on time limits on table (which is completely understandable considering the current nature of impact of the pandemic) so just be sure to come on time.

Place is great. Talented music artists play while we enjoyed fantastic wine and cheese. Fair priced to have drinks and a snack but when we purchased a bottle of Desert Wine, it was over priced at $38.00. Yes I understand it takes more grapes to make it but a single glass to taste was only $8 or $9. Even if they squeeze 6 glasses out of that small bottle $38 just doesn't add up. But the wine is good. I had the Cab Franc and just came from Kontokosta up the road. Kontokosta's Cab Franc was better but also much more expensive at $14 as compared to $10 or $11 per glass at Leib.

We visited 3 vineyards while on the North Fork yes...

We visited 3 vineyards while on the North Fork yesterday and this one was the only one who did not offer flights which is a tray of about 4-5 mini wine glasses for a tasting so you can try a few of their classic wines. You would think they would want to do this for their customers as a selling point. Apparently the elite customers who made a reservation in advance got the choice comfortable seating on their deck with the option to get the flight tasting..... but for others like us who were walk-ins, we were sat on the perimeter of the elite on wooden picnic tables on the grass where you could only buy wine by the glass or the bottle.

Worst part was the excuse by the waitress who said it was basically too difficult and time consuming to serve everyone flights so they decided to keep it to those who reserved. Lololol. Seriously?! Too time consuming to serve flights to the 5-6 picnic tables outside the reservation area??

We only stayed because we were already sitting down when we found out this policy. We were forced to buy 3 Glasses and each of us poured some into the plastic water glasses they provided so we can all taste the variety we each got. Needless to say they did not get our business for buying bottles there, nor will they get the business when we buy local wines from stores.

We (4 of us) met a group of friends here today and the lady at the bar refused to give us a tasting because our friends were in room off to the side and they claimed our group was too large. The place was empty - it's ridiculous. There were 12 of us total. We asked if we could sit separately as a smaller group, and she also denied the tasting for the small ER group of two people!! Not only that, but when I asked her for a menu she said "we already gave one to your group" with an attitude. Also, another girl eventually gave us a menu and was describing the different wines and the first lady came over to tell the first "just so you know we're not offering a tasting." They were very rude! The service was terrible. It's fall and they barely had customers, you would think they would be more accommodating.
