Kauri Cliffs Resort, New Zealand Review

If I could more than 5 stars I would. Everything was just Fabulous we loved every minute .

The pars on front 9 is good a couple off birdies not hard central driving is good. kauri conditioner I like

The golf course is quite spectacular but very challenging for a normal golfer. The costs are just ridiculous. $550 FOR A ROUND OF GOLF. $140 for 12 balls. Rude staff and just an unpleasant ecperience

Kauri Cliffs rated 5-1/2 stars: Prepare to be amazed - this is golf at its most spectacular. It doesn't matter which way you look from this open, undulating and expansive layout, the spectacular ocean views and unspoilt naturalness of the environment will have you reeling off superlatives aplenty. Shark's teeth-like offshore islands, coastal headlands and sandy covers are all constantly in view from both the golf course and the luxurious 5-star Lodge.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Kauri Cliffs Lodge. The service was outstanding! The dining experience is a must do and the activities the friendly team offers keep you busy for days. For the relaxation seekers don't worry. The whole ambience calms you down from the busy city life the time you put your first step into the lodge. You also will find a wide variety of spa treatments infinity pool, Sauna and hot pool. Thank you Kauri Cliffs!

Very pricey but awesome views and first class golf course

Superb. Expensive, but worth it. Views, food, service are all as good as it gets. I don t play golf, but everyone who does says it s about the world s best. Serious big shots come to NZ just to play Kauri Cliffs.

One of the nicest golf course I've been to. The sign is kinda hard to find and Google map leads to no where. I would recommend calling to the club for directions.

It deserves all the accolades of rated 37 in t he world. The course smashed all my expections and the staff were fantastic and truely made the day perfect. The course awesome and the views spectacular. A once in a life time to do or bucket list.

This place is absolutely stunning and no surprise to be in top 100 golf courses in the world. The views are mine blowing and the course is pristine. From the moment you are welcomed at the gate you feel very special and are treated like you're the only people playing three that day. A stunning experience.

2019.12.19, score 85, a good course is to be missed, play again in the morning, and savor once again, so that the beauty of the morning and dusk are appreciated, favorite hole16, hole7 is one of the top 100 most difficult par 3 holes

2019.12.18, score 89, the world's top 100 No. 49, needless to say the beauty, the wind is very strong, the greens are not stable, and it is worth 5 hours to drive off the plane from Auckland,

Just a wonderful golf course with spectacular views. The staff are exceptional and ready to help with anything.

Played a round of golf on the 7th sept, great service, wonderful breakfast to start the day. Calm front nine,,full on wind back nine, but stunning views. Great experience,all should try.

Great course, scenery and views towards the pacific is magnificent, on par with her sister course cape kidnapper.
We played there on a fine day with a little wind so the difficulty was down to the course layout. Variety of fairway layouts and majority greens have hazards protecting from two directions at least, can be quite challenging. Sand in most bunkers were a little hard was probably the only blemish if I had been picky but the course definitely meets its reputation in the world ranking. This course will play much hard once the gusty wind starts blowing.
Friendly staff and very high quality facility. The fairly downslope range in the practice area needs some adjustment to get used to in terms of shots projectories and the head wind was much stronger than on the course.
Will definitely go back again!
