I think LG mobile phones are excellent. I can only recommend. Older smartphones still work very well, which makes buying newer smartphones superfluous. I am very pleased. The TVs also look great. The gaming monitors are great.

Try for the second time to get a technician (via their contact form), who repairs our broken side-by-side refrigerator (1.200 EUR!). No answer, no callback, no mail. NEVER AGAIN LG !!!

Unfortunately, you cannot give a zero rating here. A few weeks ago we bought a 65 inch OLED in a Media Markt. Problems then arose with the CI slot. Media Markt referred to LG. In the meantime I have made three inquiries via the lgcarecenter website. The first request was answered with a request for further information about the purchase of the device, pictures of the problem / damage. I have then sent the requested information to LG several times. Each time with the request for contact. What happened? Nothing. Consultation with a freelance television technician revealed that he could not carry out a repair because the required spare part (motherboard) is only available for LG partner companies. However, such a company cannot be found in the vicinity (50km) of Amorbach / Miltenberg. I could ko ... n. No more LG devices. Not because of the technology but because of the way we deal with customers. Obviously you are only interested in the customer once when he is supposed to buy something. Problem solving in the interests of the customer is probably a nuisance.

My husband and I are very disappointed with LG. 3 1/2 years ago we bought a LG OLED television for a lot of money. We have informed ourselves very well beforehand which TV we are buying. At that time, we were recommended a LG OLED 65 inch. We bought that too. We don't go on vacation, so we thought we'd buy a better TV. But that was probably nothing. A symbol has now been "burned in" on the screen and light stripes can be seen on the screen. The symbol and the stripes can only be seen very faintly. But it's really annoying because you always look there. Before we buy a new TV, we wanted to at least speak to customer service to see if LG might be accommodating. The nice guy from customer service helped us and made a goodwill request for us. This was completely rejected because the television is too old. The TV cost 5300. After 3 1/2 years something like this shouldn't happen to such an expensive television. So we are very disappointed with LG. We will no longer buy a device from LG. The nice gentleman from customer service gets one star.

Worst customer service I've ever seen. Every time you get an answer you have to create a new ticket on the website. I don't think it's surprising that everything goes zero when there is always someone else in front.
In addition, you are asked to upload a picture, yes, understandable, but unfortunately the picture cannot be good enough for customer service, hence the message three times: picture not good enough. Sorry I don't have a Nikon I know what. In my opinion, a picture of a Samsung S20 should be enough. Especially when you see exactly what you should see, namely a green piece of pixel. Why does the picture now have to be made with less exposure time than is normally set on the mobile phone? And why should I choose any particular background? Isn't my background (black) nice enough for you?
Simply unacceptable.

Unfortunately, you can only declare this company as bad.
I got a LG 360 Cam donated and was also very happy with the device.
However, since one is to set up the cam on the LG-Bridg on the latest updates / firmware is updated, which disable a manual conversion of 180 <-> 360 degrees on the device, of course, you are no longer completely satisfied with the device.
A corresponding service request at LG has shown that this error could be traced, but there will be no resolution of this error.
In a nutshell, this means that LG is not interested in whether customers are satisfied with the products or not.
I can not understand that such a well-known company is so unprofessional.
Of course, I will continue to handle the matter by legal means, as the Cam of Google Streetview is advertised as a certified Kam.
This can not be correct if a manual conversion declared in the operating instructions is no longer available after an update.
As the service on other devices will not be different, I will refrain from further purchases of this brand.

If you offer a 10-year guarantee on the cooling compressor of a side-by-side refrigerator, which costs over 1000 , but the customer is then supposed to pay the working hours and travel time after 6 years, then that is dubious in my terms. Customer service 0%. Is that enough to be successful in the long term? That a defect can occur, ok, but that one then leaves the customer out in the rain, is a no go. Never again an LG device.

PC monitor after the warranty has expired DEFECTIVE | Coincidence? NO! Planned obsolescence!

I was very happy with my 240hz gaming monitor for 2 years.
The 240hz are clearly noticeable, it runs very smoothly and you simply have clear advantages in certain FPS shooters.

Unfortunately, this monitor broke today.
During the operation suddenly came a white screen and the monitor beeped at the back.
Nothing can be done or changed about it. It seems like it's completely broken.

Now the annoying thing: I bought the monitor on July 20th, 2018 and put it into operation for the first time on July 21st, 2020. Coincidentally, today is 08/21/2020 and it was broken after EXACTLY 2 years & 1 month. Is that a coincidence (irony from ...!). EXTREMELY annoying and bold!

I have had another LG 4K monitor for 4 years now, which fortunately still works actively and with which I am satisfied. Now something like this has happened to my gaming monitor. So I really don't believe in coincidence here. LG support says I should send the device in and they'll give me a cost estimate for the repair, which will probably cost several hundred euros.
I am currently having serious doubts about the LG Group. The topic of planned obsolescence is probably well known to everyone these days. After all this fraud was uncovered at Apple with the iPods, the planned obsolescence was uncovered at many other companies and their products.
I am deeply disappointed with LG!

If there is no sensible solution here, I will immediately avoid LG products and advise my entire network against LG.

I bought a washer dryer from LG last year. Unfortunately, it was the bad buy of my life. 690 just for the trash. My laundry comes out of the machine instead of clean, completely linted. Before ironing, I first have to process my laundry with a lint roller.
A LG craftsman was there twice to look at the machine. There would be no mechanical defect. Both gentlemen including the customer service staff first tried to put it on my laundry. I don't know why jeans or a cotton shirt should be extremely fluffy. Then the staff asked about my detergent. Since I use both liquid and powder, they didn't get very far. Does anybody have the same Problem? The next step will be to contact my lawyer because I can't wear half of my clothes now.
Not to mention the washer dryer, which is simply SCRAP.

There is no good repair is a repair should cost at least 210 eur if I bring the device itself otherwise cost over 300 eur if a technician kommt.Hatte previously had a smaller Samsung device ran tattoo until the last day. In January 2020 we bought a LG side by side cool / freezer combination with a water dispenser and ice cube maker. After a short time it no longer worked. After several contacts with customer service and technicians, it turned out that this is a known error from the factory. First we were promised a new door. Technician came with the wrong door. After that we were promised a new device. After waiting for weeks and contacting the service hotline again, LG received the message that they cannot deliver a replacement and that we can return the refrigerator. Quite simply thought and a certificate of poverty, considering that the device can still be bought anywhere. Well, you bought the device online, you just don't send it back. No fridge in midsummer ... a shame.
A LG will certainly not be anymore!

LG rocks ...
The support for smartphones is outstanding. Have now used the repair service with 2 phones and both times everything was very accommodating and above all smoothly.
On the hotline you will be advised by competent and helpful staff and a maximum of 12 days waiting time (from sending in to return) for repairs is absolutely fine.
A big thank you at this point.
Other manufacturers can cut a thick slice of it.

(This specialist dealer is a long-established master company that has been supplying me with services and goods for more than 30 years. It has never disappointed me.) The assembly date had to be postponed again and again, as LG regularly postponed the delivery to a later date. Now, after 3 months, it was announced that the device will no longer be delivered. We decided on a different manufacturer. Never again LG !!

First time I bought an LG TV. I bought the new LG 65 cm nanocell and from the first moment defects in the led and screen were highlighted. Unable to get the refund (I even said that a voucher of the same value from the tv to buy a second always LG would have been satisfactory). I bought it from HyperU in Grand Quevilly and the supermarket obstructed me by refusing to exchange the product (illegal because they have the obligation to change the product within 14 days of buying a defective product). LG replied that can change the screen but nothing more. Buying a 1200 euro TV for after having a defective product that requires repair right away is not reasonable. That's why I totally advise against the LG brand and to buy electronics products from HyperU.

Had a 43 inch full HD TV, after about 2 years there was unfortunately no picture but only the sound.

Unfortunately I had it repaired in a specialist shop for almost 200 , although I was told that a new TV would be better.

Conclusion: lasted 1.5 years after the repair and now the same problem.

Stay away from Lg !!!

I have had this smart TV since the end of June 2016.
I think the picture and sound quality are great.
But what has been annoying me since the beginning are the recurring interruptions in playback from YouTube, media libraries and even in TV operation!
Error message: "This application will now be restarted to make more space available".
That's why I've had contact with LG several times since July 2016. Among other things, the mainboard was replaced, which did NOT fix the error.
Otherwise I was put off again and again for a software update to follow soon.
The error has not been resolved so far - 8.2.2019.

Contact only possible by email, no response received after the third email. A no-go. No more LG. Customer service and customer loyalty are obviously irrelevant. Do they know that in Korea?
