They are extremely rude, they cancled last minute and I was already up there and they wouldn't do anything for me, they tried making another appointment over a months too long. I'd give them 0 stars if i could. Never coming back
Prenatal care was great with my first child until it was time for delivery. Was told my fluid was low due to my son going a little unto 42 weeks, was told to arrive at caromont for a induction. Communication was so bad to the point that the doctors gave me medicine to induce me (FAILED) after that she busted my water bag there wasn t ANY (purpose of the INDUCTION) if it was communicated before hand that the fluid was low I could have just had a CSECTION and avoid catching sepsis in my uterus sitting for more than 10hrs for a mistake on both parts. Due to the miscommunication when my baby was due it caused me and my NEWBORN a WEEK in the hospital getting IV antibiotics to clear the infection. The only reason I m returning is because I m going for a SCHEDULED C-Section THIS TIME with my second child and the surgeon 2 years ago did a wonderful job.
Nurse on the phone laughed at me when all I had was important questions that needed to be answered. She was not helpful at all and acted as if she didnt have 5 minutes out of her day to do HER JOB.
I used to look forward to the visits with my healthcare provider.
I don't any longer.
Quality of care is abysmal.
Staff can only seem to fake sympathy and sincerity. Maybe they're as desensitized to the beaurecratic red tape related to providing care; as i am of dealing with it.
Bare minimum of care and only that is provided. Don't expect any whistles or bells here. Nothing too fancy.
Building is disgusting.
Carpet in the traffic halls appear as if people have urinated all over them for years.
The Building in the inside somehow manages to appear more depressing than the staff within;
Which is quite a feat to pull off.
I don't even take my care seriously because they dont appear to so why should I?
Hopefully their hearts grow three sizes this Xmas. Seriously need some training in compassion and sympathy.
I basically wish i didn't even have a doctor with this level of care being provided.
But hey there is a nice painting in the waiting lobby, so hey theres at least that.
This facility needs a total remodel, from staff to the actually building and parking areas. Rooms are so close you can hear almost every word in the room beside you. The staff seem to only be here for the paycheck. Sadly I know this review will not help get this place in the shape it needs to be so a formal complaint will be made. I would not recommend anyone to come here unless you have no insurance at all.
Don t expect for them to ever answer the phone pharmacy either.

To say this place is an utter joke would be giving it more credit than it deserves. Sure, they have a sliding pay scale but you would be better off going to a more professional doctor's office for the same amount you'd be spending at this dump every two months they want you back. In fact, this place is such a nasty dump that the first time I went there my oldest son cut himself on their counter (a counter where people just stand there). Gross, this place is gross. Left voicemails with my doctor in reference to having my prescription refilled but have had no call back in days. They had me on 100mg of Zoloft and apparently it isn't that big of a deal to them to get back with me when I've stated numerous times my prescription is to run out. Nah, it's cool. It'll just mess with my brain and get me all outta whack. The first time I went there they completely lacked any decent communication skills and apparently this place is for people who literally have absolutely no where else to go. By all means, try anywhere else though. They have no regards to their patients.
I wish I could give this place a zero stars. Each time I go there they are very unprofessional. The first time I went for immunizations the woman complained about how she was just one person and how her boss expected her to do everything. The second time I called and had some questions about Tests And the woman on the phone told me that they could do walkins for the testing I wanted, so when I came in the woman behind the desk told me that they weren t going to take me that day because they were going to Lunch in about an hour and a half and I needed to schedule an appointment and come back at a later time . She was more worried about her lunch break then the patient .
Go here at your own Risk they practice harmful eugenics medicine be advised Gaston County police use their staff to harm targeted individuals they hurt me. They will do the same to you. They gave me Hepatitis C when I was asking for a Flu shot. It was administered with a rather large diameter pipette with a red push button on it. Mind you a flu shot comes in a typical hypodermic needle?
I really haven't had any problems with the health department besides them just being a little slow at times. Other than that the staff are really friendly. The midwives and nurses were very sweet. Thanks them I have my little bundle of joy
Gaston county health department has helped me with my health for numerous years
It's been awhile since I've been here but this place is truly for income challenge non insurance people and. they may have good doctors but, when I went the doctors was not caring.
I received poor Medical attention throughout my pregnancy in 1996 left when they poorly took care of my infant daughter but ,it did teach me to always seek good medical benefits and research my doctors
I've been a patient of Dr Reynolds for 10 yrs. Greatest Doctor ever in my opinion.Tons of compassion for his job. Thanks a million!
