Lewis Chiropractie Amsterdam Review

I suffered back pain for over a year and went through the route of personal trainers and physio's but I could not find anything that helped me.

I was then directed towards Dan Lewis by a friend and was extremely happy with treatment, help and advise that he gave me. His knowledge of my issues was very impressive and after a course of sessions the pain i had been suffering had gone.

Better than just relieving me of the pain Dan also help me prevent it from reoccurring by explaining to me what caused the issue in the first place.

I now visit Dan frequently and would (and have) highly recommend him to others!

I had a pinched nerve in my neck from two years ago and never quite had it fixed until I came to Dan Pernet- he was highly knowledgable and extremely professional. I never knew chiropractic work could affect me in such a significant way. Also the decor in the window is impeccable!

Daniel is a highly skilled and experienced Chiropractor. After having some niggling back pain suffered during a sporting event I went to see Daniel due to a recommendation from my Physiotherapist. After the first session the pain in my back subsided considerably and since then I have been seeing him regularly and the discomfort I once had is now a thing of the past. Please think twice before visiting a chiropractor. Although many people are positive about chiropractic treatment, I do not share this opinion unfortunately. If you have any traumatic accident for example, then a chiropractor could be of help. However, if you have back problems, "correcting the spine" is simply symptom relieve and it is not fixing the real cause of your back problems. I'm a 29-year old fit guy, who currently has a mild hernia which probably could have been avoided if I'd have had fixed the real cause of my back problems. Instead, my spine is now so "flexible" that it is only making the problem worse instead of better. I'm convinced that chiropractic treatment has made my back problems significantly worse. I've been to many specialists the last 3 years, and few of the doctors are a fan of chiropractors. There is a reason that chiropractic is an alternative medical treatment (in NL), because there is simply not sufficient evidence that it is proven treatment.

This does not mean that the people at Solar Chiropractic are bad at their job. They are very friendly people and definitely want what's best for you. However, I do believe that a stronger focus on finding the cause of someone's back problems would improve chiropractic treatment in general, so I truly hope that my review will at least be some food for thought.

The service is impecable.

The adjustment was so good it should be called a correction .

I feel great after just one session with regained flexibility, vitality and vigor.

The hula dancers are a preemptive sign of how you feel on your way out of the practice.

I recommend anyone feeling slightly misaligned to get an adjustment in this fine establishment.

Anna Beaton is absolutely THE chiropractor for me. She is kind, skilled and down to earth. I appreciate the way she keeps track of how my body is doing. Never pushy, always on point (literally haha). I experienced a lot of back pain over the last years. I have been treated by Anna Beaton on numerous occasions and certainly recommend seeing her as I have almost 100% reduction in pain. She goes beyond to ensure I am on the right track to recovery, and that's very important for me when looking for a medical practitioner.

I have chronic lower back complaints due to a lot of office work. After I could hardly walk anymore (I am only 30+) I had myself treated by a chiropractor about 3 years ago. My complaints slowly disappeared within 6 months. By moving, and after I had been somewhere else, I ended up at Amsterdam Chiropractic & Wellness. Daniel uses the same methodology as my first practitioner, and this works great for me. When I stop I notice that it is going backwards (unfortunately). I am very satisfied. Everything around it is well arranged. Because of this I find it no problem to stop by every month so that pain stays away.

This place is truly the best chiropractic in Amsterdam! From the receptionist to the chiropractors - everyone is super helpful, friendly and professional. The ambiance is very relaxed, like a spa. Since I go here it feels like my whole body is back in balance. So for those looking for a good chiropractic, this is highly recommended.

During sports I often suffered from calf and hamstrings due to tension in my lower back. After a first session in which my lower back was "straightened" again, I immediately noticed an enormous improvement. Now I visit on average once every 2 months for a treatment. Daniel is very friendly and very professional.

After a number of years of serious back pain, I finally found the solution. Now almost 2 months in treatment with Dr. Jahani and am relieved of more than 80% of my serious back problems. Treatments are very effective, everyone is friendly and the Doctor is very professional. I advise everyone to really try this Practice once, when they have given up hope!

It's worth the travel! I live in Utrecht and still travel to Amsterdam to see them. I am treated by Anna Beaton, and find her to be very professional. In addition, she always goes the extra mile to understand what the issue is, and provides additional advice as to how I can help improve my condition when at home. Dan Pernet treats me in Delft and he successfully helped me get rid of a number of back complaints last year. Because I do a lot of sports and I spend a lot of time at the computer, it remains necessary to maintain it. He is very friendly and involved, listens to what you have to say and then tries to help by treating and giving advice.

Amazing! Daniel is fantastic chiropractor that I constantly refer friends to because I know that his treatment will help. My quality of life improved massively after treatment by Daniel.

I started having lower back pain like 1 year ago, which I expected to go away after some weeks/months. Unfortunately it developed to levels where I was not being able to sit, run or carry a bag. Also I slept badly.

Daniel quickly pointed out my problem areas and started the treatment. It took like 3 months in total, but now I'm able to even do heavy deadlifts again without any pain. I literally got my life back.

Daniel didn't shy from answering my questions and I felt educated after I left (which was really appreciated!). Excellent help! Clear explanation of what was going on and what the plan of action was. After the first treatment I already noticed progress and now for the first time I can get through a day pain free again!

Highly recommended. I went in with some chronic issues with my back (lower back & hip pain, neck & shoulders, and so on). After 5 weeks of treatment and following the exercises I was given, I'm already feeling quite some progress.

Daniel is a fantastic Chiropractor, it takes time to listen and understand what brings you there in the first place, and puts extra care in explaining what the treatment will be and how it will affect your body.
When it comes to healthcare in general, those are the top two skills you want: listening and clear explanations. That's on top of experience and accurate treatment, which Daniel has plenty.
If this wasn't enough, he's friendly and welcoming, as well as everyone else in the practice. (Anne, the other practitioner is also super nice and talented by the way).

Bonus Points: Solo, the dog.

Highly recommend in urgent situations but also to self care and wellness. I experienced a amazing recovering treating my brain spine connection with Daniel and Ana. To make it even better, all staff is super friendly.

I was treated by Daniel for lower back pain that was preventing me from sleeping. Never been to a chiro before and was shocked with the instant and prolonged relief. I thought it would be a somewhat painful experience but it was smooth and comfortable. Daniel also laid out a care plan schedule for me which he explained well and it makes a lot of sense. Good experience and i highly recommend it if you are having any sort of back discomfort. Feeling good.

The short version: I have been going to Anna at Amsterdam Chiropractic & Wellness for 5 weeks and since my first appointment, HAVE NOT HAD A SINGLE HEADACHE after suffering from headaches every few days - and trying everything to cure them - for over 20 years. MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT NOW!!

The long version: I had suffered from headaches for over half my lifetime and tried EVERYTHING - self-massage, paid massage, massage wands, creams, gels, patches, acupuncture, osteopath, physical therapist, etc. I would get some relief and then the headaches would come right back. A friend suggested chiropractic which I had previously considered but for whatever reason dismissed, but this time I thought I would give it a go. What did I have to lose?

I ve been seeing Daniel for the last 3 years and getting adjusted is now an integral part of my life. Their comprehensive holistic approach to wellness is the reason why I keep coming back.
