See, I didn't do that. I thought I'd just "go for a test drive" at West County Honda in St. Louis and it became the biggest nightmare you can imagine. (That's another review) After WC Honda failed to deliver, I found the exact same car in KC. I saw great reviews about Legends Honda. After several phone conversations with Don Franklin, he agreed to give me the exact deal with the exact car I was SUPPOSE to get in STL. He was my hero! :) Two days later, I drove the 3 hours to KS and Don was waiting and ready for me. He was wonderful! Kind, friendly and everything ran like clockwork. He thoroughly checked out the car and took the time to show me all the bells and whistles and answer all my questions. Or finance agent was great as well. Didn't push but just simply showed us what was available.

Had a pleasant experience, it was a bit of a long process, we got there a bit before noon and had the test drive wrapped up around 2pm but we weren't able to complete the sale until after 6pm. There were multiple factors that played into this: It was the saturday before memorial day, they did call several banks to get the best rate, but unfortunately the office girl messed up the paperwork twice which caused quite a delay. at the end of the day I loved my Civic and I was happy Carter and Sean were able to assist me in finding the car I actually wanted. I still would recommend this to my friends and family.

I knew the vehicle that I wanted and my Product Specialist was very knowledgeable in explaining the difference in the trim packages. I really liked the structure of this dealership since the Sales Manager gave me the price and we didn't have to go through the "let me check with my manager" routine that always added way too much time to the process. I also wanted to think about it and there was no pressure. I didn't have to hear the "what will it take to get you in this vehicle today" line. I spent 4 hours at Legends Honda yesterday. My sales associate was very professional. The finance associate , Bobby, was exactly the opposite.The initial offer he gave for my trade in was too low, Bobby came back with another offer and said the General Manager authorized an increase in the trade in but only if I bought a vehicle today. I requested what bank I wanted to use for financing, instead of submitting a loan request to my bank, Bobby chose to use 4 other banks without my authorization. I explained to Bobby I didn't want multiple inquiries on my credit report.The terms he came back with were unacceptable so no deal was made. When I returned home, I checked my email to discover Bobby had submitted my information to 13 Banks without my knowledge. I spoke with Tanner, the General Manager this morning to make him aware of my experience yesterday. Tanner assured me he will do what he can to have the unauthorized credit inquiries removed from my credit report. Legends Honda has some honest, hardworking, customer oriented people but Bobby isn"t one of them.

We purchased a Rav4 4 weeks ago - June 21st. On Monday, the 23rd, I called & emailed about the paper work. I have called and emailed at least 2x a week about my paper work - NO title, NO loan paper work, nothing. First, it was, oh it'll take a week, but I was there on the 27th and it wasn't ready. Then, I called & finally was told it was mailed (July 7th) via certified mail. Still didn't show. Called several more times, and on July 14th, I was told it had really been mailed that day. Still hasn't shown up & on the 17th, I was told that it was in Chicago. I would never do business or recommend this dealership.

We had an excellent buying experience. The Legends Honda (and Toyota) dealerships have "product specialists" that help you find the right car that meets your needs. We have a young family so we were minivan shopping. Steven was our product specialist and he was very knowledgeable and at no time did we feel any pressure to buy. We had done our research beforehand and had a ton of questions and he was able to answer all of them. If he didn't know something, he found the answer for us. We went across the street to the Toyota dealership and had a similar experience (they have the same owner) but we ended up going with the Odyssey.
Shawn was the "negotiator" but he was also easy to work with. We originally decided on a van that was in Columbia so it was going to be transferred in. After sleeping on it we changed our minds and decided on a van that was on the lot. Shawn didn't even hesitate when we told him the next day we had changed our minds. I was fully expecting him to act like it was going to be a big deal to cancel the transfer because of all the paperwork and how long he spent finding it for us. But no big deal.
When we went in to pick it up, our delivery specialist Allison was great. She went over every feature of the car and made sure we knew how to use everything before we left.
When we need another new car, we will definitely be coming back!
Brandon Adams and Scott Hiat took good care of us. I did my initial drive with Scott who quickly setup the process for us to take the car home for a real test with the kids. Brandon knocked it out of the park by staying late, showing me all of the features of the CRV ,and taking extra time after 10pm to drive me back to the dealership to get my car. Brandon was not pushy and actually let us take the time we needed to get everything arranged even though everyone else was leaving the dealership.

Customer service is horrible. I have four Honda. I bought two from Jay Wolfe Honda and one from O'neill Honda and just bought one from Legends Honda. Out of all three Legends was worse experience. Once you sign all the paperwork, they act like they don't even know you. I added some accessories when i bought my mini van. They suppose to call me next day and schedule an appointment for install. Never called me. I had to call them four times and finally they schedule an appointment. When I went there for install, they told me about 2-3 hours. I waited 6 hours and it was not even done so they gave me another vehicle and told me to come back tomorrow. Brand new mini van did not even have a manual. so i told them and they said we will order one. I went there after a week to see if they got one yet. They never ordered one and i was told it will take about two weeks to get one. I called some other dealership and asked them how long does it take to get a manual and was told couple of days. It has been two weeks since then and as of right now i have not got one or heard anything from them. I know not to go at Legends Honda next time.
Decided to try the Legends Honda dealership after being not so satisfied with my other one. Ended up on their showroom floor when my Pilot decided to be too expensive to maintain. Adam Hougland showed me my options and explained that their Certified Used Honda Pilots were cheaper than anywhere else. Of course, I quickly looked up a few and found he was right! I was super pleased to work with him and get myself a great upgrade at a great price! I would absolutely tell anyone to ask for him if they want a nice, not-so-salesman, salesman :)
