Leeds Castle Kent. This has to be one of nicest examples of castles anywhere in the world. Well it says that in thier brochure . So I'm k with that.
Lots of activities to do, including a coffee shop, gift shop, dog collar museum and even a golf course and duck pond. Lovely day out for all the family in the beautiful Kent countryside. Don't forget to walk through the maze and underground grotto. If this was helpful please like it. Do you need a guide in real life, interested in discounts ,travel, tickets, eating & 2for1 offers hire me..

Amazing exterior. Great variety of birds (swans, ducks, etc.). You can book rooms in the castle for parties and weddings as well. The interior of the castle, while still interesting to look at, was not nearly as impressive as other castles in the UK. The gardens and wildlife outside the castle is definitely worth checking out though.

Great day out for the whole family! Tickets are fairly pricey but once you have paid they are valid for a whole year and you can visit an unlimited amount of times! Beautiful grounds & Castle, they also have events on throughout the year at no extra cost.

Very disappointed with my visit today, having seen others with dogs here previously l was looking forward to a walk. I was turned away at the gate (I have paid for a year's admission) by two gentlemen saying its a health and safety issue! My friend went in and has photographic evidence of others walking their dogs there today!! I won't be renewing my ticket this year.

I love this castle, and all the added attractions it has now.
I was there recently doing a Segway experience, and then 2 days later for an open air viewing of THE GREATEST SHOWMAN...what venue!
Lots of parking ( and toilets ) for this outside event..plus food/ drink.

The castle also does jousting days etc which are great for all the family

I would also recommend the Segway ...even though I fell off! ...took us to areas around the castle not usually seen .

It was amazing I learnt a ton of new facts they have to big parks to play in but the food in the cafe is overpriced for what you get. Overall I loved the experience the staff are friendly and helpful and I definitely recommend going.

Great place, perfect for a picnic or to eat there. Pay once, return all year for free. Changes with the seasons, always something going on. Wonderful for young and old, couples, families and groups.

Picturesque castle situated in lovely grounds.
The grounds were really peaceful despite the crowds and very well looked after. The kitchen garden was a particular favourite. They also have a pretty amazing kid's adventure castle, it's huge! Wasn't able to catch a birds of prey demo, but they do have a special center there for them.
We went on an event weekend, medieval jousting, which was excellent. Definitely worth timing a visit for when something like this is happening, particularly considering price of entry.

Beautiful castle Green turtles, ducks, swans, fresh air inside the castle, beautiful and beautiful 900 years ago should be worth the conservation. The next generation of legacy.

The value for money is practically non-existent. Probably the most disappointing castle I've been to in 26 years of coming to England, from the restaurant to the castle itself. I couldn't fathom when the shuttle driver said most people only More

The whole experience is very good, the grounds are beautiful with fun things for the children and the castle is full of history, backup information and atmosphere. Lots of activities. A must do. Also looks like they do concerts as well.

Lovely place to spend a half day or even more on a sunny day.
The air is so fresh and the park around the castle is very big and clean, with a lot of swans and geese walking on the grass, not fearing of the visitors. We stayed on the grass for a picnic and rested for a while.
The castle is beautiful and its tour will last less than an hour. After that, we enjoyed getting lost in the maze. There is also a mini golf area, for which you have to pay extra.
The tickets were not cheap, but we could go and visit the castle the whole year with the same tickets, which is an advantage for returning visitors. Otherwise, I would say that it doesn't worth to pay for a single visit, comparing to other attractions in London.

Beautiful castle with a super nice green area around. Although small, the rooms represent the time well. It's worth spending a few hours there. It has 2 cafes serving small snacks, but the ideal is to have a picnic. The maze is super cool and fun, but not too difficult. At the exit is the grotto, in the center, under the maze. Super cool!

I find this castle absolutely amazing, the grounds are just stunning and with all of the events and attractions, it's a great day out. Although some people may same that the admission tickets are expensive, they are valid for re-entry until a year after purchase so you can carry on re-using the same ticket! I am currently attending work experience with the Leeds Castle Falconry Department which happens to be my favourite attraction but I'm biased. I seriously encourage anyone in the area to visit, you really won't regret it!

Great day out. We've got a yearly ticket which costs only a little more than a daily, make use of it at least a couple of times a week. Well worth the fee.
My little boy loves feeding the ducks and there's plenty of open space to kick a ball about.
The castle is amazing and the grounds host a number of events through the year.

Perhaps a little expensive for a country house but by the time you've done the house, gardens, woodland walks and falconry display then let the kids loose in the maze and playground area you'll have spent all day there and thoroughly enjoyed yourselves. At least, all the kids we saw seemed to be having a great time.
