Such a majestic and beautiful historic place to visit.
Approach to the castle is via a beautiful walk through the picturesque grounds and woodland.
Upon reaching the castle, you are greeted by a well preserved Gatehouse that houses a state-of-the-art visual history showing the changing shape of the castle over the centuries...
...and seriously, you need to see this!
Leeds Castle and it's grounds are well preserved providing a fantastic step back into Medieval times and beyond.
There is also a Falconry display with several Birds of Prey and usually lots of other events going on at the same time. There was a 'Battle Of Britain' event going on when my wife and I visoter
For the kids, and the adults who haven't grown up yet, there is the famous Leeds Castle Maze and Grotto.
This is not easy to navigate at all, but, once you get to the middle, you are rewarded with a walk down into an underground cave/grotto. The Grotto is brilliant with waterfalls, stone walls, old statues and colours aplenty.
Great day out for all the family.

We had an amazing family day out at Leeds castle last week! We got lost in the maze and loved the interior of the castle itself. The kids playground was super fun for our kids who absolutely loved the ziplines! I particularly liked The Battle of the skies attraction and the owl and falcon show too. Helpful staff and beautiful grounds to boot. We highly recommend Leeds Castle!!!

the first thing you are interested in is the entrance to the castle grounds. Parking is free and you don't have to worry about being there. it is possible to try off-road seqway at the checkout. When you buy tickets, they take you to the ticket code and save them. ticket is valid all year long. which is great. The gardens are beautifully maintained and clean. you can ride a boat on the lake. there is mini golf, and great for having fun with kids. The maze is elaborate and interesting. Do not miss the area with live birds. I recommend this place for both individuals and families. I really liked it

This place was amazing - especially since you can walk around inside! So many places only let you see the outside, but you can walk through many of the rooms here. There are also a cafe & restaurant on site, as well as a small maze, kids play areas and a picnic spot. An excellent experience that comes highly recommended.

Superb!

One of those expensive places to visit but it had plenty to offer and we had a great day out. Repeat entry for a year means we will certainly return. Staff helpful and friendly seemed to be enjoying working there. Top marks from us!

Great place to take the kids. Safe environment for roaming around and a couple of great play areas for younger and older, up to 14yrs, children. Birds of prey were an enjoyable exhibit and the castle was a good tour, for the parents. Do ensure you reserve time slots online though.

Castle is great set in a beautiful setting. Not the cheapest day out though if you want to have any extras. Audio guides are extra (never been anywhere that charges for a guide), crazy golf for kids is more, if you want to ride the little train or take a short hop on ferry across the lake its extra.. Nice day but there is a slight feeling your money is wanted at evert turn

We visited the grounds of the Castle on Saturday to commemorate the wedding that was to be that day. We'll be back to the Castle itself next year for the Wedding. We spent all day in the grounds, and had a lovely picnic. In truth, we wouldn't have had time to take in the grounds and the Castle all in one day. The gardens are extensive and so beautiful. The owls and birds of prey were impressive too and they were obviously well looked after. A brilliant day out!

Known as the "loveliest Castle in the world". They put on great shows and activities for the kids during school holidays and seasonal tours of the gardens, flower shows and daily wild bird shows. I visit regularly as when you buy a ticket it gives the access for 12 months. Very nice at christmas

Amazing place. Beautiful rooms inside the castle and a beautiful garden around. You will also find a maze from which it is not easy to get. You can buy birds food here and feed waterfowl, ducks and swans - whooper swans will come to the candle to you. You will also see black swans here.

Fireworks display here is one not to be beaten. This display is over and above any others I have seen. Laser display synchronised alongside the fireworks and music is precise and spectacular. A bit more expensive than your average display but well worth the money. Grounds and gardens are also very nice as well kept. Well worth a visit.

Leeds castle is nice but not enough to justify the entrance ticket ultra high price. There are refreshment sellers and punting touts and conferences and pay for kids attractions but sadly not much of history or museum exhibitions. It seems like a big tourist trap a milking exercise. Avoid if you can.

Terrible staff behaviour. I was with a small hiking group of other woman and a security guard drove up to us in a van saying we had to walk on the road, not the grass. Seemed heavy handed but we were very apologetic and stuck to the road, as asked. We then continued along the public right of way when the same security guard drove at us and got out of his van again, saying that we were no longer on the right of way. He was very worked up and confrontational, something commented on by other visitors. Moreover, the extremely experienced hike leader had a GPS route tracker which explicitly shows public right of way, which we were definitely on. The hike leader was once again really polite but the security guard insisted she was wrong and should get a paper map. The sad thing is that the hiking group has a relationship with the Meet Up group which organises groups to see Leeds Castle's fireworks displays, which is something I would have done. There's just no excuse for a man chasing down a group of women in a van and being confrontational like that though.

Such an amazing place... lovely environment, waters, greens, castle, and the exceptional playgrounds, one for smaller kids and one for older kids! It s so brilliant even grown ups want to have a go. I particularly appreciate how well maintained every part is. You can easily spend a lovely day here with your family. A ticket will last 15 months which is such a great deal. We have been there two times already and I am quite sure we will go back some other time.

Went for the Christmas market and it was a great atmosphere the band was playing and we were lucky it wasn't to busy, not the biggest Christmas market but definitely worth the trip and we loved the Christmas trees in the castle with different colours and themes in each room.

Weather ended the birds of prey event before it really got started.

Price for entry was a bit steep.

We went to the proms. It was amazing, very very English, even a fly past by the spitfires! 1812 overture the lot! Highly recommended. Take your own food and booze and dont forget chairs, and English flags to wave, and warm clothing as it gets chilly.

The gardens are really nice and there are a lot of activities also, the view of the castle is spectacular. However the inside is a bit disappointing as most of the rooms are quite new and the place is very very crowded, no guides and the information on display is not enough. You don't have the time and the place to "feel" the castle. On a good weather thr grounds are perfect :).

Went for the NHS Wellbeing day. A lovely show of the appreciation of our NHS colleagues. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly and thanks to the team for the goody bag and free pizza.
Castle and grounds beautiful and well presented.
All in all a wonderful day.

One of the most beautiful castles in Britain - a real gem - not too busy either. The setting is superb and the interior is so fantastic with a lot of period features from Henry VIII 's time and the 1930's
