Enjoyed the lectures always a stunning ace to visit anytime of the Year.
It s a beautiful castle. It s history is very interesting. I wish that I had read up about the castle before the visit.
Very expensive unless you can make further use of the annual ticket.
It will be a little distance from London, but you can enjoy the wonderful scenery!
Excellent day out. Expensive if you go as a one off
Lovely views of castle and grounds while trying out Segway
A family of two adults and two children pays 80 pounds. Definitely too expensive for what it has to offer: a beautiful park, a boring falconry show, a nice maze with an artificial grotto, a light-and-sound show celebrating the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt. Oh, and the castle: a private house with some furniture and paintings (but you cannot visit all the rooms, which are still used sometimes by the members of the Foundation administrating the building), and a souvenir shop selling you anything (candies, liquors, Xmas decorations, toys, wizardry stuff) but location-related souvenirs. I would definitely not recommend a visit.
Interesting history. Good meal in restaurant. Enjoyed my day. Must ho back for the maze.
Beautiful castle. The grounds and castle are fantastic to see.
Very interesting, plenty of walking, and play areas for kids
It was our 15th wedding anniversary and as always we enjoyed our day at Leeds Castle. The only problem was no transport for Disabled people up the hill, my husband did it with his walker but was shattered, maybe a few benches on the way would help. I appreciate that in these times we need to take care.Maybe a minibus, for the more severely disabled! I was impressed with the oneway system and the number of sanitising stations
The best thing is the year and a day validity of the day tickets if you live within reasonable travelling distance. There's a lot to do and see if you have to pack it all in to one visit. We only spent a couple of hours there and mainly enjoyed the walk about, the gardens and the birds- but look forward to going back again and again and doing different things, and the price then seems very reasonable. Not so sure how I'd feel if I was paying for a single visit though.
Great wedding venue with stunning gardens and a maze with falconeering
Not a bad place to visit but seriously expensive.
There was a food and drink festival when went. Lovely cider!
Learned lots about Leeds Castle. The grounds are enormous. Really good day trip for families as well
Great attraction. Plenty to see. Fantastic grounds and location.
Beautiful from abroad with a special park. But internally I was expecting some more furniture or decoration.
Nice walk lovely scenery, love the maze, follow the exit from the mound
Def the most beautiful castle in England if not the world!
Neatly kept castle with nice amenities, playground and activities.
Good friends of our held their wedding at Leeds Castle and both the venue and the organization were exceptional.
The place has a really natural beauty about it and I am sure it would be good to visit for the day too.
Lovely day. Well organised and sign posted. Lots of sanitisation stations and people actually socially distanced. Favourite part was the birds of prey.
Great value too.
It was a fantastic day out with the kids. The grounds were very well kept and there was loads to do.
Lovely place, great for day out with the whole family
Large open spaces well kept garden, and a lovely castle
It's just lovely. Even on a wet and windy January day, it's worth a visit. It is a bit pricey, but you do get an annual pass. The maze is great fun too!
After Windsor the second castle in England, formerly of Henry VIII. Some rooms to visit, information in German is available. Large parks
Fantastic Xmas market more. Recommend you stay if you can, it gives a different perspective without crowds. Beautiful view from restaurant.
Lovely castle with a very interesting history and a great day out for the family
Gorgeous romantic castle with a great timeline slice of English history
Love this place, it's so beautiful. Great day out with kids, take a picnic, enjoy the playground, feed the swans, taken the scenery. Even without going on the castle it's a worthy day out, especially as you can return for 12months with the purchase of a day ticket. Highly recommend.
Fabulous place, stunning gardens even in the rain. Will definitely visit again and thoroughly recommend visiting Leeds Castle.
I have spent a number of times at the castle.. Sightseeing.. In the summer on the picnic and open air concert event.. The grounds are immaculate, the castle well maintained.. A beautiful gem in Kent.
A must do day out..so much to see & do for the family.
Staff very Informative on history of the castle.grounds stunning, very well kept.places to eat.also an evening restaurant, plus rooms for you to stay.
For the kids a large play area, with a go get lost in the maze. Array of wildlife.
Although it's pricey for the initial ticket, you soon get your moneys worth. I brought mine a couple of month ago and I've already been about 6 times. So beautiful and relaxing, even when its busy it doesnt feel over crowded as the grounds are so big. The ducks, swans and ducklings mist be the best part, you can tell their spoilt and well fed. The staff can be a little rude within the castle but the men through admission are always smiley and friendly. Buying the tickets online is definitely the better deal!!!
Great day out. Quite a large house building with lots of history and large grounds. They have a falconry area and a maze. In the summer they have medieval fairs with shops and jousting etc, well worth a look
Lovely Christmas party at Fairfax Hall. The surroundings are beautiful, the food, the decorations and party afterwards was great fun.
Nice castle like the French chateau. The number of ducks and swans that roam freely, getting dirty everywhere, is excessive.
The castle is in a picturesque surroundings with beautiful garden and river. Highlight of the day was black swans with red beak. The castle grounds are a good place for picnic and family outing. There are not many outlets for food. Good to bring along your own food. In case you want use public transportation avoid Sunday and holiday as the bus frequency is low.
Very pretty place with plenty of things to see and do. A very nice experience.
Great location to play 9 or 18 holes of golf in the grounds of Leeds Castle..
The UK is very rich in castles - and Leeds Castle is one of the must-visit places!
Huge beautiful green territory is a perfect place to spend the weekend with your friends and family at. Just secure the whole day and get here to spend perfect city-escape day - play some active days, have a picnic, sunbath, relax and enjoy!
the Castle is beautiful and has a lot of history to share with you. English castles have always something to share with Tudor dynasty, and this one is not an exclusion. Enjoy your day away from London - I have plans to explore it during all seasons as golden autumn, sparkling Christmas and blooming spring will definitely have some special things
A lovely day out even if the weather is not too great. Children love to feed the ducks and swans. Castle is very interesting.
Love it at leeds castle, great days with the family when the weather's good.
Love coming here, and absolutely loved the classical concert and will be coming again next year
I visited Leeds Castle on a very cold sunny Sunday morning, my mobility issues meant I needed to use the special transport provided to get me from the car park to the Castle, the driver could not have been more helpful and friendly.
The Castle and grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the tour of the house fantastic, there is so much information on the history of not only the Castle but of its various owners and visitors along with wonderful photographs including one of JFK.
Another wonderful and memorable visit, thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience.
Always worth a visit - particularly if there is an event on.
Food and drinks expensive. Ice creams exorbitant!! Toilets not good either. Needs the National Trust to point them in the right direction
Attended the classical concert here. Great evening.
Bit pricey but for that money you will receive a very entertaining castle tour.
Great place to take the kids and entry ticket lasts a year
Amazing place of magical enchantment celebrating 900 years of history (1119 - 2019).
The beat castle I hope to visit this place 100 time
excellent & fascinating place to visit, gardens, walks & the castle.
Loved our visit. Beautiful castle, lovely gardens & so much history
Anamazing place just at the heart of Kent..the castle is unbelievable..not very massive or tiny..plus very nicely kept.It is not just beautiful inside but outside is equally beautiful and sceneric..You can see variety of birds along with a river, tress etc..just perfect for a family holiday on a bright day. This venue is perfect for any party, weddings, receptions etc as well.So great history, great nature and all together.
Stunning! I love this place, it has so much to do for both adults and children. Our kids loved the maze, play areas and falconry show, plus there was a really nice boat ride across the lake.
The grounds are amazing and beautifully kept, the gardener's and staff are a real credit.
Would thoroughly recommend.
We used to attend the evening events when we lived closer, and they were always really good.
Lovely castle, grounds and walking around, can't believe we missed the christmas stalls which finished on december 15th! They should last longer!
