One of the best preserved castle in the area. Big park and garden. Magnificent lake in front of the castle make it unique. Lots of fun and activities for children. I love the fireworks nights over Gay Folks night. Perfect for family day out.

It really is the loveliest castle we love visiting Leeds Castle and taking a slow wander around the grounds. Lots of improvements since our last visit too
Great day out with the family. Kids play area are great any kept my 8 and 3yo busy for ages. The crazy golf was a great touch with the raft in the middle being a brill feature. One of the highlights was the maze and the way out underground.
A great day experience. Book for a visit to the castle first. But if you don't have a car you need to call the spot travel bus to know if they are operating that they you travel. We don't know this on our first time there so we ended up booking a taxi . But it's worth it.
Interesting tourist attraction! Lots to see as you explore the grounds, from pretty flowers to a wide variation of birds - including swans, ducks, geese and kingfishers. I found the castle itself less interesting as it doesn't have much except for a few grand rooms.
We met my new Grandson,Taylor and parents Darren and Gemma for an afternoon stroll in beautiful surroundings and had a grand time. Unfortunately some events had not yet re-opened but we enjoyed the walking around the castle which is what we wanted to do. The lake was full of Carp feeding in the shallows!!
Grounds are incredible castle is more of a large stately home. We went over Christmas and they had themed cardboard cutouts all over the rooms detracted from it and made it a little tacky. We would go back in summer to the grounds. but would not bother visiting the castle again.
Great day out. Gst a ticket to last the year so you can pop back throughout the year. Going over christmas was picture perfect, going back in the summer
Lovely location and grounds, quite expensive. Really need to be on top of the cleanliness of the toilet block by the ticket office. It was really disgusting even after complaining it was not dealt with.
A fantastic day out that can be repeated as the tickets are valid for the next year. The children had great fun exploring the grounds and the castle, they conquered the maze in minutes and the play area is amazing. We also got to see the birds of prey show which was good fun. Next time we are planning to take the train ride and go on the boats.
Beautiful castle and worth a visit. We visit lots of National Trust, English Heritage and privately owned properties and one thing stands out, the enthusiasm of the volunteers to tell you about the place they love. Do not expect that here. People in the rooms were either talking to each other or on their phones. They weren't interested in engaging with visitors. Cafe poorly organised. Only cakes available for self-service, only 2 sandwich types on menu. The person on the til also took orders, got drinks and dealt with problems and queries. Long queues and it wasn't a busy day as weather horrible.
Amazing, beautiful place. The Christmas market is brilliant and the grounds around here are breath taking. I enjoyed walking around. You can get segways from the entrance to the house but the walk is better. You can also go inside and visit this beautiful house. Bring lunch in a picnic and you have a whole day event.
It takes about 2 hours by car from London, and the ticket is quite expensive, but once purchased, it is valid for one year, so you can use it if you visit frequently at events etc. There is only a castle operated by itself, so it is a moderate scale. The castle is beautiful, and there are many water birds including swans in the river and pond, and children are delighted when they buy food that is said to be healthy for the birds at the entrance shop. Going further beyond the castle, there are restaurants, a hedge maze, a fairly large athletic facility, and various facilities for children. It is open in winter, but heavy equipment is recommended as it is moderately cold.
Fantastic. The castle is located in the county of Kent, is well signposted and has easy access and has parking. The entrance to the castle is expensive 27 pounds but includes a walk through the beautiful gardens, lake and the castle that is preserved in perfect condition. All this makes those 27 pounds hurt a little less. The kindness of the workers is absolutely lovely, it is a very nice visit.
A beautiful place to go and visit. Lovely castle and beautiful grounds. Lots of things for children to do, with the new playground area, the new crazy golf, the maze, the falconary, etc. Lots of places to sit and eat and grab a coffee. Highly recommend to all!
Went to the fireworks display on Sunday .fabulous display the food stalls were bit pricey but very nice had a duck wrap yummy. Only problem I waited 45 minutes to get a coffe very slow .but overall good evening had by the entire family .thanks .can't wait till next year when we can bring our 1st grand son
Went to Luna open air cinema to see Harry Potter. Brilliant evening. Well organised. Had premium seats and stress free. Although would recommend taking cushions which luckily we had with us as chair would not be quite as comfy a couple of hours in! Would go again. Beautiful surroundings. Really fun evening.
Great course wirh amazing views of the castle ,a fair test of your golfing prowess, a little hilly for some people i would suggest ,but the natural features of the course make it very enjoyable
Leeds Castle was a really good experience. I've never seen something like that before. The large turf and geese everywhere, it was wonderful. This place is full of history and it's a very cool place to walk. You can also do the labyrinth (take a map with you or you'll never find the middle ) and when you find the way, you'll enter into the grotto. I don't tell you more, go and discover !
One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Beautiful scenery. A lot of activities. Great for taking kids. Stuffed souvenir shop. Worth the visit. If you can, go without haste.
My hubby took me to stay at Leeds castle for my birthday ,I had a wonderful time we stayed in a room that over looked the walled garden had a lovely evening meal and wandered around the gardens after . I felt like we had the whole place to ourselves once all the day visitors had gone
Vast estate, plenty of things to see and do. Lovely day out. Getting tickets to go inside the castle was very difficult due to restrictions on numbers so book well in advance.
Lovely castle with huge potential...but let down by unnecessarily long queues to get tickets, an inefficient restaurant and a 'hands off' feeling to everything - the castle could learn from Eltham Palace which is much more accessible and fun.
It's a beautiful area, but there isn't much else around. The rooms are a bit more modernized as this is owned privately. It wasn't as much "castle" as we were thinking.
The grounds are vast and stunning all year round. It offers a glimpse into the lives of medieval and Tudor nobles. It's a great day out for the whole family!
I love it here. A good place for a nice walk. The castle is lovely and there's lots for kids to do. They have events running throughout the year and a ticket lasts for 12 months, well worth it.
What an amazing and beautiful place to visit. So much to do and great value. Fabulous for families. My only criticism is that it would be great if there was water stations to fill up your water bottles.
