Very good, be prepared to walk...... Disabilities are fine, but you cant see the whole castle, you can only view the botton floor which is a shame as it only takes about 20 mins to walk around

A decent day out, although expensive. You buy tickets for the year so the cost is more reasonable if you plan to go back. Also they have a maze! All mazes are obviously brilliant but this was a pretty good one, superior to Hever Castle for example

We love to go to Leeds Castle. Especially when they have events. So many activities we can do. Busy only on events. The playground is big and for all ages. Golf for everyone. Beautiful garden with lots of flowers and colours. Small area to eat with restaurant, fish and chips,ice- cream. Inside of the castle is really nice as well. I recommend.

Beautiful grounds to walk in. The prices are high but you get a year ticket so worth it if you are local.
The castle itself is pretty modest, Windsor or Warwick offer far more. However it is set in beautiful country side.
Food there is expensive and low quality so bring a packed lunch.
The range of events throughout the year also will appeal to locals

We were fortunate enough to visit during the festival of flowers. The castle and grounds were lovely. We finished by having a picnic in the castle grounds. I told my fiance that we would h e to visit the Johnston castle some day. The only problem with that plan is that it is now situated in the middle of a housing estate.

Magnificent site with the possibility of walking around the castle. Guide and audio guided tour of the castle. Several eating places and shops. What to spend a beautiful day in nature

Went for Leeds Castle classical concert. It was a great family day out, the music was excellent from an Abba and Madness medley to Enigma Variations. Great atmosphere with 12,000 in the crowd, late night fireworks and canons for Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture.
Well worth a visit, and next year's coincides with the castle's 900th anniversary, should be great. Treat yourself, even if you are not a classical music buff, you will be surprised how many pieces you know.

A really well maintained castle/stately house. The castle looks very well taken care of, volunteers were lovely and the falconry display was an unexpected bonus. The maze was small but fun with a surprise exit path (you can cheat using Google earth if needed). A couple of bags of gravel would have taken care of the large puddles in the maze would be my only suggestion. The entry price sounds steep but parking is free and since the place was so well presented we will go back as the ticket lasts a year and feel like we have had even better value.

Amazing day out rain or shine. Get lost in the maze or learn about the birds of prey. Walk around the land and take in all the wild life. It's always a perfect day out for my partner and I or family, you can go with anyone. Pay for a ticket and you get to go all year around for free

Very peaceful and beautiful place ideal for a stroll on the weekend. The castle itself is very nice and can be visited. There is a very good restaurant to have lunch and afternoon tea. There is a bird show which is great for children, and the playground is outstanding (recreation of the Leeds Castle in wood). Lots to do, highly recommended.

What a wonderful place to visit...the staff are extremely informative warm and friendly...The gardens and grounds are beautifully kept..all credit to the Gardeners...the collection of swans geese and ducks are fascinating especially when you feed them. The restaurant has some super dishes to try and is inexpensive. All in all a wonderful day out.

The castle itself is not worth much, especially inside. The views though, and its park, make it well worth a visit. If you have kids, they'll love the animals and the attractions, so I'd highly recommend it for families

Although the grounds are absolutely beautiful, unfortunately my visit was made unpleasant. I visited on my birthday, not being from the area, we parked the car up and walked through a public footpath that seemed to be a foot entrance to the More

To sum up... Awesomeness.
Love coming to this castle it's just breathtakingly beautiful.
The restaurants are overpriced, so bring a pack-lunch (although if you do want to spend the money the food is yummy).
They hold all sorts of events such as big concerts. I once watched meatloaf here.. he wasn't so great, but you win some you loose some.
There is also a golf course, museum and a massive maze to get lost in. I am sure I've missed bits but just get on with it already and go!

and a gorgeous castle. A maze, grotto, fun mini golf and 2 AmAzing play areas for children. A Favourite day out with so much more to see. BONUS - can buy a ticket that gives you entrance for the year Haven't booked/been to any Events they host YET, but looking forward to summer jousting and Christmas market, an overnight at one of the number of lovely accomodations and many more family memories.

Beautiful grounds. Very little original features of the 12th century castle. Now preserved as a prestigious residence of its last owner, Lady Ballie - an American who seemed to like French culture!

Yes, a well deserved tag line of, 'The most beautiful castle in the world' here you will find paradise, especially out of season. The year pass is brilliant, you can just keep visiting, great for locals or if you're about for a while. It's a vast site, take water and food as the prices at the onsite shops are a little high. (but hey, gota pay the staff I spose). This is a fabulous place, easy parking, lots of toilets and great events. If your local, buy a ticket and use it to death! If you're a visitor, go! You will not regret it.

Absolutely fabulous house and grounds, unfortunately stopped in the Castle View Restaurant for a cream tea and the scone was stale. The menu states baked fresh today, but could not have been. Looked at TripAdvisor reviews and their scones were stale in 2017!!!! About time they sacked the cook.
This brought the rating down from 5 to3 stars, shame.
