Great place for the family, brilliant day out and good value for money.
Great place for the family, brilliant day out and good value for money.
A bit disappointing...
Small Roman castle... not quite like Versailles. Park along M20 so a bit noisy! Quite expensive but the tickets are valid for 1 year. Tip: watch the short film at the beginning of the visit to understand the evolution of the castle.
Great family day out. Little expensive but take in consideration that entry ticket allows access for a whole year. Prenty of days out and events too see
You buy tickets once you can visit her for free for a year.
Lovely place for a family day out with plenty if things to see and do
My family took me to Leeds Castle as a part of my Birthday present.. We arrived late morning and as we were booked to stay for the night my daughter went to let them know that we had arrived.. Booking in time was from 2pm..They gave her information on what there was to do and times for each event. We were also given vouchers for a free drink in the restaurant...we got our drinks and then headed to the area near to the maze.. After eating our picnic we went to an area nearby to wait for the falconry display.. In the meantime my children went to the maze...they enjoyed it..The falconry display was really good.. We then went to the castle and enjoyed that too.. They were really helpful with us as my mother was in a wheelchair.. We had a really lovely stay at the hotel.. It was a little noisy because of the birds but we didn't mind. The breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and would go back to do the activities we didn't get to do this time..
Love Leeds castle, beautiful grounds, always lots to do for the kids.
Very over priced. Ok if you want to return again during 12 months but you should be given the choice for a one off visit fee. I didn't really like having to have my photo taken for the pass either. The castle was disappointing and dull, seen far more superior castles around the country for less money. Having to enter the castle through the cellar killed it for me. Sorry but it's a rip off.
What an incredibly stunning castle. Staff lovely and so helpful. Gardens breathtaking! Visit a must :)
Very popular, especially during school holidays. Although, for the amount of people arriving as it opened, it was very well coordinated and did not feel too busy when in the actual grounds. Easy to follow castle self tour. The maze and playground was a highlight for those under 10 years old.
A lovely day at the castle for the flower festival.. stunning display just beautiful.. well done to all x
Had to park in carpark 2 very muddy n only one way narrow lane ....big queue to get in with some paying n others with passes ...Castle looked very festive ..but disappointed with cardboard cut outs thought it would have been more like More
A nice piece of English history with great scenery & a fun maze in the grounds.
Easily one of the most beautiful castles and grounds in the UK.
buy a ticket and you can come back for free for a year so second visit still loved it !
Excellent fun place to visit....lots to do. We went on a really good weather day
A great place to visit with the kids, history made real
Leeds castle is a beautiful place to visit with so much to do & see,The maze is awesome The castle itself is very picturesque & full of history. The grounds & gardens are well kept & maintained with beautiful walks. There are various eating places all with different choices of food. A beautiful large lake with boat trips. Also a nice flock of Peacocks in the grounds.. A great playing area for children. Nice areas for picnics. Well worth a visit.
1st time we have visited and found it very good with the flower festival. In the time one could not do the history and the flowers with the limited time if a coach trip. However we had an hour queuing to get in the castle and a good job it was dry.
Great place to enjoy the sunshine or for a family day out.
Very pricey, family's would struggle to pay for a day out. It is very nice though especially at Xmas with the market.
Lovely place for adults and children of all ages. There is a small walk to the castle and another little one to the maze and play areas - but exercise is good for the little ones. Costa is good for the parents.
Absolutely amazing! Love how well they have preserved the castle's structure, interiors and surroundings.
Beautiful grounds, lots to do throughout the year, quite pricey tickets except once you go once you can go fo free the rest of the year. Great park, toddlers seperate to older children. Great food and activities
amazing castle, very beautiful nature! loved it. will definitely come back. if you buy tickets you can come with the same tickets all year round!
Great castle and grounds with a new play area, plenty to do here and the falconry display is a must for all.
Loads to see and do here. Initially seems a bit pricey but if you are able to return a number of times over the course of the year it's worth it. A lovely place for picnics and the children never get tired of exploring the maze.
Offers a lot for adults and children, individuals, couples and families. Historical and contemporary interests catered for it's a great place
Wonderful evening at the classical open air concert. One of the best organised and facilitated events I've been to. Absolutely excellent. Just be aware of the rubber chickens !
Still think 2017 festival of flowers is the year to beat.
Beautiful place. Totally recommend for a relaxing day. Bit pricey for entry but unlimited for 12 months so if you're going more than once it's ok.
Perfect day trip .. lovely and picturesque location
A lovely walk through the grounds and at the moment are making changes. Very relaxing.
Brilliant. Only down is that it's a bit hilly for wheelchairs. Especially at the exit!
Brilliant place wonderful history well worth a visit.
Expensive ticket but an annual pass and so much to do it's worth it. Beautiful place. Gardens are stunning. Still never been inside the castle! Very good cafes and great playgrounds for kids.
I'd give five stars if they didn't have such a weird ticket price system. Lovely place, great for kids.
Awesome place! Perhaps the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The castle itself was not very impressive, but the nature around ...
Beautiful, very helpful ladies, absolutely child friendly ....
Absolutely stunning castle! The ticket lasts for a year too
Great, to do absolutely if you are on vacation in the region, the castle is beautiful but the ancillary activities are legions and we spend the day without problem
The castle and grounds are beautiful. The maze was fun even though the rain had made it a bit muddy. It would have been nice if the restaurants had vegetarian friendly options, but the chips we're good.
Lovely castle and grounds with huge amount of historical information showing the full history of the castle. Tickets are great too as pay once and return as many times as required throughout year.
Make dreams come true, dive into history ... longing
Great day out for all the family, just be aware you need a little cash for the land train etc.
Disappointed- very late noteification of cancilation of wedding vevue
Played 9 holes of golf nice little course with excellent views of castle
Great place to visit, particularly with the winter market and fair on. Lovely grounds, impressive castle with solid royal credentials.
A huge campus. Parking often overflows and well maintained.
Entry price is ridiculous for what it offers.
Stunning place. Good for kids. Bear in mind that there's no option to go inside the castle with a buggy
Plenty of parking, nice for picnic or sightseeing, annual tickets are good value.
Great day. Proper family time. Beautiful surroundings and I am including my wife in that last statement! Highly recommended
Was a lot of fun and will come back Sunday to see the flower festival
Very beautiful and very well maintained. Well done UK continue to maintain your wealth in this way.
Great fun. Lovely gardens. Friendly staff.
Annual ticket makes entry price less painful.
A nice welcome to the garden of England...it's quite nice!
Long walks if unaware of mobile buses. To long wait to get into displays in castle. Displays themselves excellent could not choose between them
Not worth the cost of entry. The grounds are lovely an the castle somewhat interesting, but unless you are attending an event here I would not bother as the cost is rather high.
Beautiful, peaceful place, amazing nature and castle, big playground for the kids.
Great place to explore with many events. Fireworks are a particular favourite.
We saw the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Take a picnic.
