Had a lovely time. This place is definitely disabled friendly. Even the cafe in the court has a table for wheelchair users. They are friendly and helpful. If you take your scooter you cannot go into the castle unless you can transfer to one of their wheelchairs.
Lovely garden and views. Plenty of birds to see even falconry display.

Absolutely beautiful place! Awesome gardens, falconry, made and loads of other stuff. Ticket is valid for a year, so you can come back as many times as you want. And you will want to come back

Brilliant place to visit. Loads of places to walk and for the kids to run around. Talking of the kids, there's also the play area with zip lines and a wood castle. Jon in, or grab a drink and watch them from the comfort of the cafe mere yards away.
The cafe / restaurant is great, as is the quality of the food.
All this, and we haven't touched on the castle itself. Or the fact that you can take a punt around the moat.
All day event, loads of parking.

Loved it here, picturesque grounds and very interesting history in the castle itself. Visited during the 'carnival of history' event, which is recommended.
Great place to take a picnic and the kids as new castle play area is fantastic and well built.

I love leeds castle, the events they put on throughout the year are brilliant, the annual pass is a must. We experienced the Falconary experience over the weekend Mark and his team were excellent. We are very lucky to live so close.

Leeds Castle is a must for anyone, eithet by yourself, with friends and families.

This place has all the entertainment you need for a whole day out.

On arrival you are greeted pass the gates into a multi section car park, it is his big because this place attracts a ton of visitors from around the uk and overseas.

Once you get your tickets, this is where you can easily spend a few hours walking around the castle, its moat and the fields which are home to its inhabitants friendly ducks and swans that appear to be used to humans.

The nature and structure housed here is beyond awesome..its breathe-taking.

Wonderful place but two caveats.

Wonderful place but two caveats.

1) Shame that you can t buy a one-day ticket. We took friends from Australia but they had to pay for a year s entries.

2). The food at all the outlets is beyond awful. Absolutely everyone we spoke to in the various eateries agreed on this. There isn t much choice, it s unhealthy and overpriced.

However, it s a truly lovely place and a lot of care and thought, not to mention a lot of hard work have gone into making it so.

But do take a picnic!

The Castle looks magnificent including the rooms inside it. It was a great place to hold the wedding there. However, due to the heat wave yesterday and there is no aircon in the Castle, with more than 50 people there, it was just unbearable in the function room. Not even a fan was provided during the ceremony nor during the meal times. Food were tasteless and didn't provide what were being ordered. Kids were not served first nor provide the proper kids meal.

Small, lovely castle.

Small, lovely castle.
If you want to visit this castle, you should go pretty early. There is a lot to discover about this castles history by reading all the mini-texts and checking out all the portraits of the important people who lived there. You can also ask the employee about the castle. They are not only there to oversee the rooms . I got there pretty late, so I could not check out the maze or the Restaurant.

Beautiful landscaped gardens and grounds. Perfect place for a Sunday walk. We're quite local so use it as our local park for short and long trips. food options are good and there are plenty of attractions and events. landtrain, boat ride, maze, brilliant playground, castle etc. We love playing can you spot the peacock! Only downside is the fact the playground is at the far end of the site from the carpark.

The grounds are really nice and seems to be a good family day out with activities for kids such as falconry display, but the castle itself is not particularly interesting. We managed to walk around the castle itself in about 20 minutes. More

The Grand Medieval Joust is a MUST SEE.

The Grand Medieval Joust is a MUST SEE.

This time around me and 3 others plus a 6 year old went for the medieval joust where there were lots of stalls and displays to see. It s very child friendly with activities like Shield Painting, Re-enactment role playing and there s a shop where you can kit children out in armour and swords etc. There s plenty of ducks and swans and even gondola rides!

There s a playground and a brilliant maze. If you decide to go for the medieval grand joust, I recommend going for more than one day as there is simply too much to do for one day. We only managed to watch the firepower display, the joust, arming the knight display and some children activities during our day there. I would ve loved to see more off the tents as each has its own story where you learn about what life was like during the medieval era.

They have plenty of other experiences you can do at leeds castle from Go Ape, Segway experiences and Hot air balloon rides. They obviously cost extra but for the annual ticket that gives you access to the castle and grounds there is no better bargain out there!

Love love love this place.

We stayed here for two nights in the glamping tents. It was an amazing experience. The grounds and castle were fantastic to explore and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We also did a half day Owl/Falconry experience where Hannah and Mark were great!

Such a marvelous place to visit. It didn t have the feel of old and aged but instead rather modern and lively. Stayed at the on site B&B so there was enough time for us to enjoy the place. Strolled the lake shore, fed the swans and birds, took it slow walking through every room opened inside the Castle and it was good. Winter weather was freezing but my lady and I loved every moment we spent there. Just too bad the Maze was closed.

Great day out with lots to see and do. Buy your ticket once and return as many times as you like within a year. Lots of event days included in your ticket price (some need to have an additional ticket purchased). Food and drink reasonably priced, but there's lots of space for you to eat your own picnic too.

It's a very big castle and a very nice place to go. If you want to enjoy it you need to be rested, because you need to walk a lot to go to the palace and to walk inside looking every room.

Buena visita al castillo de Leeds!

Preservation as well as perfect maintenance are truly noteworthy. The whole castle is very impressive and very well preserved including the perimeter moat, the interior design of the rooms is less impressive and looks like a design of the early 20th century between us it is not something, since the place is not accessible / accessible no elevator or sheep so keep in mind Wheels less recommended.
