Charming little castle in a beautiful setting. They did an amazing job of setting up the rooms to show what they looked like during different eras. The gardens outside were beautiful and staff were very helpful.

I have visited Leeds Castle several times over the years and this last visit was the best. The grounds and gardens are simply lovely and worth visiting on their own. The castle itself is magnificent and has a fascinating history with bags of character. The castle staff are really helpful and a wellspring of interesting details (just ask about the portrait of "Lola" in Lady Bailie's bedroom..... ).

Another highlight is the Culpepper garden. It is stunning.

The birds of prey display is well worth catching.

The maze is great fun and the new kids play area complete with kids castle is excellent. And don't forget to check out the dog collar museum!

We all absolutely loved it and will definitely be going back again.

We had a good time even with social distancing, take away eating was open, kids playground,
and could see the birds of prey, but maze and castle not open yet.
Kids also enjoyed rolly polly down the hills. Had a good day

Very cool place. The live black swans were neat to see and how the castle bridges into the lake is awesome. I reccomend doing a day tour with this as part of the package - the time is just right. Not that worth it to drive here on your own in my opinion.

Both the castle and the park is superb. Very well maintained. You will have some very interesting encounters in the park. We eat well at the restaurant with a nice view of the castle bonus. A must see !

Brilliant such a lovely place to visit. Staff friendly. Brilliant Xmas market . Train ride to was so handy especially in the rain. The castle is so lovely to walk around and kids did a treasure map to keen them entertained and got chocolate coins at the end.

The castle and grounds are gorgeous, parking is free and British Tourist Board offer reduced price tickets if you want to save money on tickets but please be aware you have to print off the vouchers before you go.
Lots of water fowl, squirrels and other birds. A free falconry display, free parking, free maze and grotto. The castle has quite a few true antique pieces and is a very beautiful thing in itself but a lot of the room contents on display are only early 20th/late 19th century, more Downton Abbey and Hercule Poirot period than examples of the castles medieval past. The original build was in 1119 and some elements of that structure remain.
One staff member was somewhat supercilious when Google took us to the wrong entrance but most of them were pleasant.

The soft toys were however relatively reasonably priced and we bought a couple of these.

Overall a lovely day out.

Very nice castle and park. Lots of history to be shown and told during the tours. Really fantastic green around to explore and animals to see. In summer a very cool bird of prey show around 2pm.

Great place to visit.

Great place to visit.
Watch out for the days when something is on like. Car show in May or flower show in September

Positive: Castle grounds, facilities, birds, gardens, family room
Negative: No water pressure, noisy air fans from the restaurant, very poor dining experience. Tip: you can't make up for lousy experiences by throwing in compensations. Strange castle entrance policy and I also felt some kind of Shame-Blame culture on how management treats customer feedback.

One of my favourite places to relax with the family. Spacious with a real sense of freedom to run , explore and have fun with the kids. Excellent price for an annual ticket and great to just take a picnic and chill. Lots of different events throughout the year for all ages

Leeds Castle is a castle in Kent, England, 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Maidstone. It is built on islands in a lake formed by the River Len to the east of the village of Leeds. A castle has existed on the site since 1119, the first being a simple stone stronghold constructed by Robert de Crevecoeur which served as a military post in the time of Norman intrusions into England. In the 13th century it came into the hands of King Edward I, for whom it became a favourite residence; in the 16th century, Henry VIII used it as a dwelling for his first wife, Catherine of Aragon. The present castle dates mostly from the 19th century. It has been open to the public since 1976.

Its just a beautiful place to visit. There is always something going on, which makes your visit different every time and the yearly ticket price allows you to do this. I will never tire of visiting here.

Attended the classical concert with friends with disabilities. Noted although the event claimed to be accessible this was solely reliant on blue badge ownership. We didn't which created huge problems on the day, and as such would not recommend. A very disability unfriendly event

Wow!

Lovely day out. Lots of educational things to read even for an old boy like me. Good health walk from entrance to castle, or you could take the train. The display by the owl, harrier hawk and "road runner" was very entertaining. A days worth of entertainment and an on site restaurant to fed you.

I went back to Leeds Castle today with my daughter to watch the Medieval Jousting. I was very impressed with what they have done since I last visited the grounds. The new play Castle was fantastic for the kids and the crazy golf course was More
