Great old English castle with a beautiful park with ponds, swans, a labyrinth, playground, lawns and extraordinary plants. Really nice and always worth a visit. Perfect for old and young.

A great site with a variety of things to do that should keep the children entertained. Beautiful surroundings, ideal for a picnic.

It's quite pricey but the ticket includes access for the whole year. Probably best to make a second trip to make it worth it - don't lose your ticket!

Once you have paid the entry price you can use the tickets for a whole year, we get tickets every year & there is always something different to do. Fantastic for everybody. Castle, gardens, lakes, maze, museum, tropical birds, birds of prey, restaurant, picnicking, play areas. Ps) how anybody can say it isn't a castle I just really do not know! it's even got a mote (you can go punting in it)

I love visiting here the grounds are always clear and clean the castle is never too busy so you can see the layout of each room. I admit that the cost of food and drink is a little bit on the pricy side so would recommend taking your own food with you.

Lives up to Lord Conways' review from 1913. A beautiful castle, probably the loveliest castle in the world.
Personally I'd allow full access around the moat to view the cattle from all sides. For the price of admission I'd expect that.
The catering was excellent, all staff were friendly and welcoming, Google recommended a 3 hour visit. There's so much to see this isn't enough. With the maze and falconry activity I'd think 5 hours would be better.
With Rochester, Canterbury and Dover all close this area of England needs at least a long weekend to take in the sites.
Visiting again when there's snow around, it really is picturesque.

Lots of parking available. We went in late July, so nice weather.

Coffee shop at entrance and large toilets with good facilities.

Lots of grounds to have picnics and children can run around. Loads of beautiful photo locations. At the far end there's a massive children's fort, crazy golf, maze, falconry and cafe.
There were helpers around and information guides. Staff very knowelagble and helpful.
Good souvenir shops. Cleans grounds and facilities.

Lovely grounds.well landscaped. The waterfowl are extensive particularly fascinating for children and will eat copious amounts of bird seed from your hand. Also plenty of toilets and places to eat. The castle was interesting with different periods of history and styles blended together.

Very nice castle garden! Tip for families who do not want to spend 2 adults + 2 children over whopping 84 pounds: parallel to the entrance there is a public path on the right, which leads to the castle garden after about 500 meters. You come to the castle and can at least see it from the outside. Worthwhile walk!

I absolutely love it here and only wish I was able to make use of the annual pass that comes with buying one entry. Stunning in Summer and Winter. Lots of places to walk. You could spend the whole day here.

Loved it, kids had a great time exploring and playing on the extensive adventure play ground. Would recommended bringing snacks and drinks as they're quite expensive on the grounds. The ticket cost is high but allows entry for a year.

This is an awesome place to visit, the grounds are beautiful and the castle itself is awe inspiring. Visited with a somewhat grumpy older relative on a mobility scooter and the staff bent over backwards to be helpful even though he was far from grateful. If you get the chance go here you won't regret it.

Like it. Friendly. Spaces of parks and woods varied and pleasant. Like the birds too. The battle of Britain show very good, not too long. Didn't come with children but I can see that it is a good place for them to play and discover.

Arguably the most beautiful castle in the world, perched on islands in a lake forming the centerpiece of vast landscaped gardens.
Explore centuries of history in the buildings, a unique experience.

More Disney than authentic, but fun anyway and the gardens are fantastic

Great day out for the family. The entrance fee is pretty steep but it does grant you access for a year. The Christmas market is brilliant as are the jousting tournaments. The play parks are excellent for the kids and the maze is a lot if fun. Catch a wild bird show and enjoy the idyllic grounds. Leeds Castle is a favourite in this house.

Leeds Castle advertises itself as the most buitifull castle in the word... and it is. It's a great family day out, with plenty for kids of all ages to do. If it's the maize, taking part on a segway tour or playing golf you'll have a great day out.

Lovely place to visit. So much history there. Gardens are beautiful and well looked after, numerous amount of different birds including black swans from Australia. Plenty of places to get a coffee or a snack . The price may seem quite dear but it does last a year so able to visit as many times as you like . Anyone who visits won't be disappointed and plenty to do for children as well .
