It's so beautiful and the spirit is really strong there.
Who that is filled with the spirit cannot go into their chapel or the log home to the left of the chapel and not feel the presence of the spirit. Small but spirit filled congregation. I was well received and welcomed as if I was a member there already. I have a new appreciation of the LDS church.
The grind Withmer was a great visit. A totally recommendable experience.
This was one of the best parts of our trip. We were able to see where a significant part of the Church of Jesus Christ happened. The Spirit was strong here and this will help build anyone s testimony of the church.
Main downside is the long drive. It's pretty far from anything. Although the chapel is beautiful and has a sweet peace to the place. Has a great congregation for all age groups from young children to the elderly. After the congregational meeting there are a great variety of classes to choose from for different ages and levels of Doctrinal understanding.

This is a special place. It is a great tour with local history.
Sunday worship service in a building next door to the Peter Whitmer farm. It's a great opportunity to learn more about the LDS church or visit with the missionaries. Visitors are always welcome.
Super congregation and very historic building. They do tours for the Peter Whitmer Farm which is neat to see where The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints started.
We enjoyed the service and Sunday school so much. Afterwards we toured the David Whitmer home. It was a great Sunday!

Very beautiful and peaceful, lots of signs directing you there, i feel the spirit here, it is a bit of a drive on windy roads but not very far from palmyra (if you are already there, maybe a 30min stay is enough to see it all.
