Nice trails. View areas could be trimmed a bit for a better view.
Great place to hike along the Colorado River. Nice facilities. Plenty of parking. Areas to picnic. If hiking wear nice sturdy shoes. The trails are rocky and steep inclines in parts.
Great spot to go for a hike! Quiet and scenic. Multiple trail loops of various lengths and intensities. Cool visitor center.
I went this morning for a women s hike. It was great! The trail we went on had good uphill hiking along with flat areas. About 1.5 hours of hiking. There are ziplines set-up there. I want to go back again to check out the other trails. Check out the cute creatures inside the headquarters.
I coordinated a wedding here recently and the venue during the day is breath taking! However...there is very little lighting around the venue once its gets dark. Now there are some what looked to be fire pits but I'm not sure if it cost extra to use them. And oddly enough there are celing fans under the outdoor patio but, no lighting. So if you're thinking of hosting a large party with outdoor activities or outdoor seating please bring extra lighting or ask the venue if they have equipment for rent. Oh and if you have never been to this venue before you google maps will take you to Lost Pines Hyatt Resort which is one turn too soon if your driving into Bastrop take the next turn and there will be a large wind mill at the drive way or one turn sooner then it says leaving Bastrop.
great place to go, they have awesome summer camps for children
Lots of trails to choose from and a variety of zip lining. The Pine Ridge and Riverside trails are recommended (Pine Ridge gets a little complex so take a walking stick). Beautiful scenery. Was out there today and ran into a group of eagles. The markers are helpful. Highly recommended.
I really enjoyed coming out here and taking photos. This is a great place for a nature hike!!!
Good place for a company retreat. Also nice place for hiking.
It's cool if your disabled vet cuz you get in free but it's $10 otherwise but it was fun family outing
Lovely place to hike. Most trails are intermediate difficulty.
Went for a 5 mile hike with the wifey. It was very pleasant and it was nice to stop by the river to cool off. Lots of wildlife and meadows. 10/10.
Loved hiking these trails! Absolutely Beautiful,.. Will be going back!
The nature is divine and the visitor center is full of animals! P.S. - If you go during March, the turtles make love.
