The guide was perfect, had complete knowledge of the animals and the property. It was such an enjoyable wagon ride and all of the animals were awesome! Truly memorable experience.
What a great experience! We went there for our daughter, but my husband and I enjoyed it equally.
Horse drawn wagon ride through acres of land while you make stops throughout feeding the animals! You're given a bucket of food to feed the animals by hand. The animals come up to the wagon or your car (if you choose to drive through). There's also a petting zoo....what fun!
Cows everywhere, this is the place to be if you like cows.
Great place to take the kids and a lot of things to do around the area as well.
Nice place and many abnormals and you enjoy the time admiring nature a unique experience
Super fun for everyone In my family, the Animals were lovley and is a amazing and fun place to go
It was a great family time. The drive through pet & feed area was an experience for sure & my family loved it. My son & I also liked walking the bird enclosures as well as the other exotic animal enclosures.
Usually love this place but it seemed disorganized and overgrown. There were areas that definitely needed attention. Overall, it's a good place to take the kids. We've just seen it in better condition than it was during our visit today.
Took my daughter and grandson herefor an afternoon, It was a lot of fun and they enjoyed it greatly. The only thing is when we were out looking at the caged birds, etc. I noticed that most of them didnt have any water in their cages this was at 10:30 in the morning and it was a very hot day. we did our own driving, and had one llama that came to our window that could hardly eat his teeth were so over grown that he had to twist his head sideways to try to get the food in his mouth. Also 2 small deer and a pig with very huge growths on their sides. I really think that for the price the animals could be taken better care of.
Fun and awesome to have the animals come right up to your car ! Kids loved it . Kinda packed now with this covid stuff going on so I'd wait until its over , time it took was 4 hrs with all the traffic now
We saw at least 8 types of deers... and loads of other animals..
A fun place to go with the family to get up close and personal with the animals!
Nice place to show the children some uncommon animals and make an educational trip out of it.
We had so much fun. You can walk around and pet and feed animals and drive thru to feed them. They also have wagon rides if you dont wanna drive. Cant wait to go again
Drive-thru zoo! This is a great destination for all ages - My wife and I (mid-20s) go twice a year, and my parents love to go when they visit. Get one more bucket of food than the number of people in the car, and you'll have enough food to get through the whole park.
Family loved it. It was cool that the animals run free
What a cool experience! Got to see all sorts of animals, will definitely go again!
*Be advised Cash Only!* It's an amazing piece of land with cool animals. For that, 5 stars. I'm taking a couple of stars off because the whole operation could be better managed. Traffic backs up, you get stuck in the car with no escape route or restrooms. We went with our toddler, so the 3 and a half hours it took us was harsh. They need employees at certain spots promoting car flow. The overly long ride inside the ranch killed the fun.
There's nothing like a family trip to spend time with some amazing, beautiful and free range animals. We had a great time. We were able buy feed there and ride a old fashioned wagon around the multi acerage field. We will definitely go again.....and bring others. Appreciation for natural habitat and God's animals is a must.
Very long waiting time, and the rangers kept chasing the animals away from the car
Always fun times although didn't appear to be as many animals as in previous visits
Mainly cattles and ox but there are different species which is good. The Giraffe enclosure was sad, there is not enough space for 3 of them. I felt bad for the giraffes.
Interesting experience... Loved all the different animals and my son was nervous at first but warmed up to the llamas. 4 stars because I didn't really like the goats jumping on my vehicle, but I guess that's what you get when dealing with animals... my car did need a good wash after we left. Overall a fun day we will be back when we have more time
They could use better signs for the driving trial and the animal exhibit!
Nice car driver beware there is a very good chance you will end up with damage after leaving this place. But the experience is awesome.
I have visited the Lazy Five Ranch over seven times and every experience has been absolutely wonderful. The animals are well cared for, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the experience has always made amazing memories for those who I've brought to the park. Even my grandmother, a self-proclaimed animal "unenthusiast" had an absolute blast! It is an event that I recommend to all local and traveling families of all age groups!
The line is WAY to long for what you get.... 90% of the time you are sitting in your car looking at nothing. Kids will be extremely bored.
Was a long drive going through the zoo. Wish they had a break area around halfway. So you can take a potty break and a drink.
Great place to visit with kids! So much fun to do! Horse ride is a great experience.
My son really love this place, he had lots fun here
Visiting Mooresville NC when we came upon Lazy 5 Ranch. The animals are beautiful and very well cared for. We enjoyed the wagon ride and feeding the animals.
Make sure you have plenty of water and full tank gas in your car... the line is ridiculous it doesn't move.
Won't be back!
Amazing and awesome place to be, especially with kids
It was so cool being able to interact and feed the animals. They also gave us a lot of feed for only 5 bucks. FYI: Don't go with a fancy car, it will get dirty.
We came with a group of 20 & we had a great time!! Definitely reserve a wagon. You will learn alot about the animals & see & feed them up close & it was fun to ride. I was impressed with the landscaping also..
Very nice and friendly place. 4 buckets of feed and 4 people, 47.00. Plenty of animals to see, touch and feed. Can take your time to drive thru. Can do with 2 buckets of feed, we bought to much. The buffalo are friendly and they are fun to feed. We will be going back in near future. Feed all the animals except the zebras, they bite.
Loved this place! My grandchildren really enjoyed it....in fact the adults enjoyed it just as much. All the animals were fascinating and very well trained. They must be very well treated and taken care of also because none of them were aggressive. They were all very friendly and hands on. Definitely will go again. It was a long wait because it was so many cars.
Great park to visit. Driving through and feeding the animals is awesome.
We had an absolute blast here! It's great for young kids and adults. The ostriches are kinda aggressive, so watch your fingers, and they say the zebras shouldn't be fed or pet but they didn't bother us (we followed the rules and you should too ). There were TONS of animals and plenty of each type were friendly enough to stop by for a snack. It can be a bit pricey (78 dollars for 2 adults and 3 kids but we also got 10 buckets of food) and they only accept cash so hit up the atm first. It took us about an hour and a half to two hours so make sure you give yourself ample time. The staff were all friendly that we interacted with and no one is hovering around you so you have some independence. I would recommend this place to any animal lover and especially children. We checked and we left with all the fingers we came in with so no worries there. We even had an autistic child and he had so much fun and had no problems with the animals. For reference our youngest child was 3 (it was his birthday) and he had no reason to be afraid (as long as you don't count the hungry ostriches... seriously those things are all neck and they will get in there and find your food). Some animals were in separate areas which were closed due to covid so we plan to return when they fully reopen. Lastly, we rode in a truck bed which helped us keep the mess isolated (there will be food in crevices, you have been warned) and allowed the children to get real close to the animals.
Oh and my wife wants you to know they have a super chill cow there that she calls a Buddha cow and that was her favorite animal.
Wonderful, I love feeding giraffes and all the animals
Buy several jars of food at the entrance, you will not regret
Very fun for all ages! Gets very busy in the afternoon. Prices are very good.
Great experience for the kids. There are traitor rides and you can feed and pet the animals. Best petting zoo with a large variety of animals.
This place is very fun... I went with my cousin and we had a wonderful family time
Awesome place. Would recomend the horse drawn wagons. Really enjoyable. All animals look healthy and lively. Fun place for the kids
Great place to take young'uns all the way up to 99. Be sure to ride the horse drawn wagon thru the park. They will see a variety of animals water buffalo, giraffes, deer, antelope, potbelly pigs, etc..... The children on our wagon had a great time feeding these animals.get some ice cream before you leave.
Awesome place to have a field trip for preschool kids.
I love it! I'm planning on having my sons birthday party there!! So much fun for all ages.
It was amazing! Becareful of the big cows though. They will take your whole feeding bucket
We got there before the closing hours posted on Google and we're told that they were closed. Needless to say my daughter's birthday did not go well after that
It was so much fun at the Lady 5 ranch the animal was good and I enjoyed myself and my daughter enjoyed herself to. We will come back
Excellent place to spend the day.. my daughter loved it
Good activity for social distancing. The don't take credit or debit cards, but they also don't have an ATM. If you don't have the cash, they will send you 5 miles back to the closest gas station to get it.
The whole family had A great time, but my daughter LOVED it. She wants to go see the animals every day.
Spectacular very funny when we give it for the first time it feeds the animals....I liked
Love this place. Great for kids. Affordable. Awesome experience. My two year old loved it. Lots of animals to see. We did the wagon ride. I think that is the best way to do it. Great guide. Given lots of information. My son got to feed a giraffe on the wagon ride.
Great place to take the kids. If you want to do the wagon ride the best time to go is on the first wagon in the morning.
Great place to for children to be able to feed the animals and get really close to them.
We love this place and go here at least 3-5 times a year with my kids. Wished there were more animals where we can walk through to see and feed in the front. Would be PERFECT if they had a place to buy food lol.
Awesome time!!!! Spent about 2 hrs driving threw in our own car... it's inexpensive fun!! Definitely going again..
**make sure to get more than 2 buckets of feed...it goes fast!!***
Super experience. You are literally between wild animals. The kids had a great time.
