We came on a whim because we were in the area and left thrilled! Very affordable, even considering we opted to take the horse drawn carriage in lieu of driving our new car through. Great place to bring all "kids" of all ages (yes, that was a goat pun).

Will definitely be back.

This was our second time going and the first was much much better. It was a nice day relative to March but I guess a little chilly for the animals. Where the first trip we felt almost overrun by the animals, this time we didn't see any until we were almost half way through. It is still a good time as an opportunity to do something outdoors.

One recommendation; if you are particular about your paint do not drive your car. The goats jump up to your window to eat and the longhorns give zero you-know-whats whether or not you are in their way. They are going where they're going and that's final.

Great place to visit to see unusual animals up close! Wonderful for children who get to feed the llamas and reindeer and giraffes! Ride an open wagon drawn by a team of horses. Fun for the entire family.

What an absolute fantastic gem. To be able to visit amongst the various animals is a true treasure. The wagon ride is even more valuable since you don't have to concentrate on driving while seeing & feeding the animals.

Good price, didn't push us to get more, we asked . They were out of seafood and chicken at the time, but was happy with what we got. 20 ribeyes for $29.99 small but still very good deal in my opinion. No complaints yet. Hope steaks ate good. The future will tell

Love Lazy 5! We've been coming for the last 25 years! They continue to make improvements and get better all the time. Great for kids and the elderly bc you can drive through in air conditioning.

We inquired about this place online, looked it up and said they were open, so we drove 1 hr and a half to get to this place and there is a sign on the gate saying it's closed for the next two weeks....they should post things like that online to keep people from wasting time, gas, wear and tear on vehicle etc.

Would have been 5 stars but parking and customer service was a nightmare. Another car blocked us in because of no parking and they wouldn't even attempt to assist us in locating the owners. We were held there for over a hour with a tired 2 year old. They didnt offer a discount, a drink, or even a sincere apology. The zoo itself is fun with lots of animals and educational signage ...just wish the parking and custoner service was nicer.

What a great family adventure! We loaded eight of us up into the van and spent two hours laughing and "oohing" and "aaahing" while we drove through and fed the animals. Get there before 11 am to avoid the afternoon crowds and definitely get a couple buckets of the feed (we got three and still ran out before the end ). I highly recommend this place

Pretty good for kids. They will love to see all the animals. The drive in your own vehicle makes it more convenient during winters.Could spend a whole day. Only thing to remember is you need to carry cash for entry fees else would need to drive back 5 miles to get to the cloest atm.

Don't waste your time. Waited 2 hrs and barley made it in entrance of animals. Horrible experience and my 3 young kids were tired and exhausted. We left the line as soon as we saw an exit. No water or snacks for sale and people were running out of gas. Waste of money and time.

I recently had my daughter's 2nd birthday party held here, and in the beginning everything was great. We had Paul take us around on the horse and carriage ride and he was awesome, and very informative on the animals. After the party, i was about to pay when was told that I owes $174 for the carriage ride for 12 people and set up for party. However, over the phone while booking I was quoted $150. I asked why the extra fee, when I called three different times prior to coming and was told by three different people it was $150. The very rude young lady working the box office told me that there was a set up fee, plates and cup fee etc. However, I was under the impression that the $150 was covering all of that prior to coming. When I explained to her I was not told about extra fees ( 9 cups 9 plates for $24)..she than rudely said to me " Just hand me the $150, because I am not going to argue with yall"...Paul was great ,customer service was terrible. Will not ever host party here again.

My kids and I really enjoyed going here. It is a once a year thing for us though. Maybe if we lived closer we would go a few times a year. I would recommend the wagon instead of driving your car that way you can just sit with your kids and interact with the animals. It is worth the extra money.

Very good The kids loved it The only thing is is kind of wish they had a spot you could buy more food about halfway through the drive because you don't realize how much food you go through we bought five buckets and we were maybe halfway through the drive and we're out of food But other than that it was an awesome experience great time

Unique experience. Nice sized drive thru zoo. We got three bowls of food that was the perfect amount. Don't forget to go to the bathroom before you enter the animal enclosure the line could be at a standstill due to feeding and animals in the road. If you don't want to risk your own car they offer a wagon ride with the same feeding experience.

Took a day trip with the grands. I had more fun than they did feeding the animals. They tend to get crowded, opening time is 9:00 we arrived at 10:20 on a Saturday no line. It took 2 hours to drive through.

The animals were all sickly and the birds were scared. Usually they come right up to the cars but were too afraid to even approach us. We showed them food and tried to comfort them to show them it's okay, but they were still too afraid to take food from us. I saw a man in a 4 wheeler chasing a terrified baby cow around just laughing. WHAT ARE THEY DOING TO THESE ANIMALS?! I loved this place for years... I'm not so sure anymore.

Great family-friendly place. It is cash only. Staff members are extremely nice. Every time I've gone, my family and I do the wagon ride to see the animals. It is a really fun experience as they include animal feed and awesome animals such as Zebras, Ostriches, Emus, Bison, Watusi, Water Buffalos, Tar Heels etc. come up to the cart to be fed.

They do offer an option to drive your car through the animal area. A few downsides, in my opinion, to that option are if you have cars behind you, you have to keep moving whereas the wagon ride regularly stops to let you hang with the animals a bit.
Additionally, the wagon ride takes you to more areas of the animal enclosure and at time veers off the assigned path for a better experience. In the car option, you are confined to the assigned path.
Lastly, (this is just my opinion as I have no data or experiences to draw off of, just fear itself), many of the animals such as the Watusi have fairly long horns. Maybe I'm a pansy for worrying about car insurance deductibles but once you roll down your windows, the animals are looking for food. In some cases, sticking their massive heads into your car (FYI, don't feed the Zebras.) While the kids are all screaming with glee, I would've wet my pants three times in hopes that my comprehensive coverage includes Watusi horn paint gouges or Yak dents.

With that said, I'm sure a ton of people go through without so much as a nick. Regardless, if you decide to check this place out with family and/or friends, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

A very neat special experience. I recommend to take the wagon ride instead of your own vehicle. The walk around the pens is nice too. Get an extra bucket of food for you and your family, especially if your kids can't hold onto their buckets very well. The food will go fast!
