firm is going bankrupt! solicitors involved in numerous entanglements with the SRA - for breach of client trust and misappropriation of funds - solicitors such as John Abbot, William Slater, amongst many others will breach SRA rules and threaten or resort to intimidation to find ways of paying off their creditors through client funds

FIRM GOING INSOLVENT - BEWARE THE SOLICITORS AND THE COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT HANDLER WILLIAM SLATER ARE DIRECTLY COMPLICIT IN THE POOR CONDUCT OF THE FIRM AS A WHOLE - THE FIRM HAS BEEN FINED BY THE SRA DUE TO DUTY OF CARE BREACHES TOWARDS CLIENTS!!! IS 4.4 MILLION POUND IN DEBT TO CREDITORS! AND ALL SOLICITORS WHO HAVE WORKED IN THIS FIRM KNOWING OF THIS BEHAVIOUR - FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS ARE IN EFFECT COMPLICIT IN THIS FIRMS UNSCRUPULOUS UNETHICAL AND DISGRACEFUL CONDUCT - THIS FIRM AND ALL THE SOLICITORS THAT WORK IN IT WHO HAVE DONE NOTHING YO SAFEGUARD THEIR CLIENTS OR CLEARLY LEAD ON OR LIE TO THEIR CLIENTS TO SQUEEZE MONEY OUT OF THIS SINKING SHIP BEFORE THEY FLEE WHAT CAN BEST BE DESCRIBED AS A CRIME SCENE- ARE A DISGRACE TO THE LEGAL PROFESSION - SMUG; ARROGANT - SECOND RATE; LIARS - WHO HAVE RUINED MANY LIVES WITH LIMITED TO NO MORAL OR ETHICAL FORTITUDE!

Very bad experience with Laytons, they are only after the money. Ruined my friend's life.

Awful experience with Laytons - only interested in raising fees not in servicing clients. Completely messed up our case causing huge financial loss but were not willing to accept any liability and simply demanded payment, rejecting all complaints made. Truly awful service from start to finish and I only wish they spent their time servicing clients rather than focusing on covering themselves with caveats in e-mails and letters to the point where they're unable to ever offer any advice. They admitted fundamental misunderstandings and mistakes were made in the case yet they refused to take any responsibility. Would strongly advise steering clear. Interesting to read many similar comments especially regarding Will Slater who was the lead on our case and then subsequently was the complaints handler on the complaint we made - seems odd doesn't it...

I am envious of the views from the conference room, Tower of London and HMS Belfast. Was there to deliver a presentation on 5G

hurt my family financially - missed court deadlines - then sent ultimatums and conditions wanting money or threatening to litigate against us!! Firm is going insolvent they dont care about clients because its going bust and need to pay off creditors

My family have used Andrew and Anna for property and they are fantastic.

John Abbott is a solicitor working at Laytons LLP claiming for my neighbour to access my property. He used abusive, bullying and threatening language after ignoring my concerns instead of good manners and politely written letters to ask for help from me. There is no need to be rude as we were willing to help from the beginning and so I was shocked to receive this kind of harassment from John Abbott. I think this is a very low standard of doing business.

Laytons are solicitors with a great view of London Bridge. They are acting for us in a boundary dispute. Smart people.
