Awful experience with Laytons - only interested in raising fees not in servicing clients. Completely messed up our case causing huge financial loss but were not willing to accept any liability and simply demanded payment, rejecting all complaints made. Truly awful service from start to finish and I only wish they spent their time servicing clients rather than focusing on covering themselves with caveats in e-mails and letters to the point where they're unable to ever offer any advice. They admitted fundamental misunderstandings and mistakes were made in the case yet they refused to take any responsibility. Would strongly advise steering clear. Interesting to read many similar comments especially regarding Will Slater who was the lead on our case and then subsequently was the complaints handler on the complaint we made - seems odd doesn't it...
