A very sweet cafe in Emerald. The staff were all lovely and the food delicious. I loved the fox artwork around the place and that it wasn't cramped in. Very busy but the staff took it in their stride, along with some odd clientele. Decent prices, good location. Plenty of take home treats to buy and well, such as jams and preserves.

While the place is open until 4, the kitchen is only open until 3. While I understand why, it's the only downside.

Extremely friendly service. No toilet, and issues with their coffee when we were there but they didn't charge us. Food was different and reasonable quality. Quiet cosy venue. Tentatively giving 4 stars on the assumption they improve their coffee soon, otherwise would drop to 3 stars.

Had a great feed here with my wife, it was a comfy place with fantastic food. The staff were polite and happy. The place was clean and welcoming to both couples and families. Great reason to take a drive to Emerald.

We are at The Laughing Fox Cafe at the moment. What can I say about this cafe? From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warmest smile and a friendly hello. We were shown to our table and promptly given our menus. We ordered our food and drinks. They got my girl's milkshake incorrectly but my girl was ok with it and so were we. They apologise profusely, made the correct milkshake for her and gave her and her sister a free cookie. Our food came about 5 minutes later and it was beautiful. I had the Jacket Potato and it was delicious. The warm potato, topped with melted cheese, crispy fried onion and bacon underneath a bed of creamy coleslaw, was the best for a cold winter's day. Our experience here was just great. I couldn't ask for a more fantastic birthday brunch. Thank you to all the staff of The Laughing Fox Cafe.

Great choice of wholesome food and drinks. They also accomodate children well. Staff are lovely and very attentive. The only way they could better themselves is to have more vegan/plant based options.

Visited the Laughing Fox on a cold winter's afternoon. Lovely family cafe with a great range of offerings. Good value, burgers are great. Lots of great pics of foxes on the wall add to the vibe.

I visited this cafe again today for a coffee and their fabulous burgers. This cafe is truly deserved to be named as the Gem of Emerald . Extremely nice coffee and food. Thanks Laughing Fox. I will visit you more often.

The food is fairly average however the drinks are fantastic. Milkshakes are tasty and large. Coffee is strong and their are options for teas. Overall a good spot to stop

It s a great customer service I haven t experienced for so long in Australia, lovely ice coffee and bluenana muffin( blueberry and banana combo). Price is reasonable compared to the bakery down to the street.

The most genuine customer service we have had in a long time. The food and hot drinks we had were as fresh and delicious as it gets. We highly recommend this place to everyone.

I visited for an icecream & found it to have a nice atmosphere with helpful staff. There is a playground opposite with a good view of Puffing Billy.

Best food in emerald, Friendly staff and best coffee

Whatever you do, don't try the French Toast Canadian style unless you've tried everything else. I tried it once and now I can't order anything but that. Delicious to the point of possibly being illegal.

Best little coffee shop in Emerald. Always head here instead of the overpriced bakery down the road (no names mentioned here :P)

I have been here twice now. Menus are great and the food is good. However if someone has a hamburger with a fried egg either cook the egg properly or don't stab it with a skewer so the yolk runs everywhere.

Had an enjoyable lunch. Service was very friendly and food was delicious.... Coffee was great... Will visit again

Sunday Brunch @thelaughingfoxcafe_emerald Just a 30 minute drive from our place is this gorgeous warm cafe in the heart of Emerald. The staff are friendly and service amazing. Was very busy today with many people being turned away as they had reached the 12 person capacity! We were lucky to get a table and as soon as we did we decided on our meals and ordered at the counter. Today we ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Baked Jacket Potato and a couple of Lattes. The coffee came out first and was very good, my strong Latte was rich and creamy even though we requested the lactose free milk! The Jacket potato was beautifully baked served with melted cheese bacon, sour cream on a bed of creamy coleslaw. The eggs Benedict we got with smoked salmon was also extremely delicious and creamy on top a bed of spinach leaves. Overall an amazing experience which we enjoyed and look forward to coming back again soon!! Thanks Ali and Nozi & the team at The Laughing Fox Cafe

Amazing service, very baby and child friendly. They have us a high chair, some hard and soft toys, and a tea towel for a makeshift bib. We had the baked potato and the french toast. Both were fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend for lunch or afternoon tea.

Dropped in while running-in a new motor, I only ordered a take-away coffee but was immediately surprised when I took my first sip.
Absolutely the best coffee I ever drank.
Service was good during such a busy time. Will definitely drop in for another coffee with the car club next time we head to the East.
Couldn't rate it 5 stars due to the fact that I only tried the coffee.

My husband and I visited this lovely cafe and were pleasently surprised with the range of menu options. We ordered Moroccan chicken and pulled pork burger. Both the dishes were awsome. The staff at this cafe are very friendly and welcoming too. We would definitely be returning!

Food on menu discription different to what you receive.
Baked jacket potato was cut up pieces of potato like a potato salad with old cabbage which was brown which takes days to accomplish.
English breakfast served with Woolworths cheap BBQ sausages and ingredients.
Eggs I asked for poached and recieved fried .
Coffee ehh.
Not worth the price considering reviews are high rating .
You can pay the same amount and recieve quality elsewhere .
Disappointing.
