Hubby and I enjoy this casino. . There's various of little shops inside circling the casino. Definitely need to check this location if you're in the area. Win some you lose some but never a bad experience.

L'Auberge is probably my favorite casinos in lake Charles area. rooms are nice and I typically win their more than I do anywhere else in lake Charles.
Our blackjack dealer went above and beyond to help us learn the game and have fun! He definitely made up the roulette dealer that completely disregarded EVERY player at the table.
Extremely rude staff when it comes to accepting a military identification cards. I ve served my country, and am of age, yet I could even buy an alcoholic drink. When I presented my military identification card because it was the only identification I had on me, I was told to come back when you have a better ID . The casino should train their staff that a military identification card is a form of government ID considering they were also hosting an Army ball the same evening.
Everything is in 1 spot and after you check in there's no need to drive anywhere else
Like staying here for some short vacations, nice get away, easy drive from Houston

It soff the chain, I love it.. But the waitresses were slow as hell.. You may see a waitrest once every 45 mins .. I was tired and tempted to fo and buy my own drink!

Gambling! I prefer slots and they have their drinks available to you at drink stations! I dont need to wait for the waitress I can get it whenever I want.

The Hotel is ok. How ever it could use a make over in the rooms. Toilet water was dripping all night and bathroom had a urin odor. The Buffet was not good at all and expensive for what they offered.

For the amount of money you spend this place is a hole in the wall!!! Furniture old torn up!!! Carpet nasty no robes in the room the only positive thing i can say was lazy river pool!!!

Second time visiting here. I only play the slots, but had a great time while there. I even came out winning a bit. The drinks were just strong enough to feel alright and not get sloppy, also decently priced. the Casino was much cleaner than the first time I went some years ago. The only thing I did not find was food to my liking late at night.
The staff was friendly and welcoming. They have all the best machines and the choices for food were decently broad. I always enjoy my stay here. 5/5 would recommend.
Didn't hit at all. Up 400 on blackjack. Sushi was good.
We were travelling to New Orleans from Burton Texas and stopped for lunch. We enjoyed the seafood buffet. The seafood was good but the southern fried chicken was the best. Just loved the catfish and salmon too.
One of my favorite casino stops in Louisiana. Drinks are strong, and on point. A great way to gambling more enjoyable. They also give complimentary birthday gifts during your birthday month.
The buffet is still our favorite and the best anywhere around, great food!!

This place is too high priced.No reasonable priced restaurants. Nothing opened late to get breakfast food. Waitresses favor the card tables, couldn't get service. Machines don't pay!!!
Always a nice place to stay but coffee pods wasn't fully stocked, not really a coffee drinker just a weird thing to see, kinda made me feel like"hmmmm did they skip over changing the sheets also" lol. Have fun and good luck!
I never gave a reason why I rated so low. I was highly upset. I basically stayed there for 4 months in a row except maybe one day out of each week. My fiance and I stayed there together. We never had a problem until we left then we came back maybe 2 weeks later. The girl at the casino entrance would not let my fiance in. She said she was not allowed in. She was accused of first I guess escorting or selling herself. Which has never been the case and was very insulting. She has always been with me. Then she was accused of being drunk which again has never been the case because she may only drink one to two drinks but that's about it. And to top it off we hadn't even drank at all at that time.e. now I can say that she is a very excited and hyper person but that is her natural persona. She is always happy go lucky. Then we asked for a manager and they came and he said no problem but had to get it approved by boss. Then that person came and said that she was not allowed in because the original person said no. This was all very confusing. And I believe the original lady at entrance was just out to get her for some reason. We ended up leaving and I haven't been back since. Too me it just seemed very racist and prejudice towards us. Mostly my fiancee. I won't be back and will rather take my money elsewhere if that's how it was going to be. And I will say that that wasn't the first time we were treated like that. I can say for some reason the guys have always been very well respected and there a few young women at the door that are just not nice and can't even say hello when you greet them . The older ladies however are for the most part no ice and do say hello when you say hello. But it's the not so nice people that will always leave a bad taste and it's something you can never forget. So disappointed. I really loved playing there
Fascinating ambience, lots of winning sounds, plenty of slots to play, very friendly and attentive servers, good drinks and foods, very clean and neat. Just too bad I havent hit a jackpot yet!

Beautiful lazy river pool area. Reminds us of the Guam Hyatt. Pool bar. Adult pool separate. Beautiful lobby decorated for Chinese New Year...and we won a little. Newer machines and favorites like Lil Red and Spartacus. Shuttle goes between two casino resorts.
Lovely place I never stated in a place so clean and well put together. My drinks were cold and strong and I love that. Thought about gambling but the machines were full.

We went here right after the opened up after Hurricane # 2 and honestly don't think they were ready to open up yet. I understand if Golden Nugget opens up than think you have to but why risk it.
You got alot of the musty smell throughout the halls and we were lucky to actually have a room when we got there thanks to their customer service and front desk. Hopefully Lake Charles recovers because they have been put through the ringer.
This place has turned into the worst place ever. Our room smells like smoke, you cant get a drink because the waitresses all seem to be missing. We've been gambling for 4 hours, no waitress. I had to get a new player card they gave me one with a mans name on it, I'm not sure where they got that info. I went to get another and the line was so long I just threw the card in the air and left. We ate at the Asian place, the food and service was sub standard. I am highly disappointed.
A friend and I chose to visit Favorites restaurant in L'Auberge casino. I was ready for their signature gumbo or the prime rib burger, both of which I have enjoyed a number of times before. Since I was on a lunch break, I decided on gumbo and my friend had the wonderfully amazing berries and greens salad.
The flavors of both were exquisite and the salad was a delightful treat.
Service was good, with friendly, personable staff and the atmosphere is wonderful. I especially am fond of the mid tempo jazz blends playing in stereo.
Love this casino. I always do well. Better than the Golden Nugget.
