We stopped here on the way to Chicago and absolutely loved it! I had the burger with beer cheese and Mac and Cheese side. Great flavors, great ambiance, and great service. I would highly recommend to anyone!! Very kid-friendly, gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian- friendly. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area!!

I keep trying the newer breweries but I always end up back here. Best pizza in the Kzoo area and excellent beer. Our server Emily was the absolute best, she alone would be reason enough to return. What a great experience!

Always great food and beer. Probably one of my favorite menus in the Kalamazoo area, there is something for everyone and everything tastes great.

Alittle to preppy or collage for me. Meals are over priced and in small portions. Don't look to fill up here like a steakhouse. Litte designer meals that are decent. This place caters to the beer and wine lover. I guess poeple fill up here on beverages more than their meal. I do not drink any alcohol so this place is not for me but it may be to your liking. Wide range of beers, Ect. Staff is friendly and the place is nice but noisey with chatter. If your looking for quiet dining this is not for you. Definitly for the younger crowd.

Had lackluster crab cakes.... Felt very cold and austere on a hot summer day, can't imagine what the lack of ambiance would be on a cold winter's day

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Service, Food, Price for what you get. This place is trying to be an upscale brewpub in a average town. They first sat us outside not telling us they do not serve food outside. We then go to the bar get beer and food ordered and that is the last time a server or bartender ever comes back. My empty beer sat in front of me for over 20 minutes and not one bartender paid any attention. Paid over 10 bucks just for a tiny burger. 4 bucks for what I thought was a bowl of soup that wasn't large enough to qualify as a cup of soup. Oh and they were out of half the beers they make. Ended up going to another place and eat some real food that actually fills you up.

Great atmosphere and a great menu with lots of variety. Great outdoor sitting area with places for lounging or playing games

We made reservations on a Saturday night and had a large group. The service was slow and the food took an hour to get to us but it was really good and the beer was great too. It was worth the wait. The waiter was really friendly and seemed to know the beer and menu well.

It was very good. The root beer was so good. It wasn't overly sweet or strong. The burger and fries were awesome!

I can t rave enough about latitude 42! Not only is their restaurant AMAZING, but their catering is the best! They catered our wedding and i can t put in to words how perfect everything was! Georgia, the catering manager was phenomenal, the staff was so friendly, they even gave us a gift basket and a congratulations card!
All of our guests loved the food. I was able to add food to the menu last minute, everything was made fresh on site, just PERFECT!
They even gave our 4 month old son a half pint onesie

First patio experience during the pandemic. Sanitizer everywhere, great mask compliance, excellent service and cocktails. I didn't get food on this visit (it was after-dinner drinks), but it's always been excellent too. Adult juice boxes to go were a nice bonus!

The food was very delicious and flavorful! I got the BBQ brisket tacos and it was packed with flavor! I got a flight for $7.50 and all of the beer that I got was great. Especially the nectar of the goddess! All of the food and drinks were very fairly priced. I would highly recommend checking them out!

I had the mustang burger and it was the best unadulterated restaurant burger I've ever had. Our server was very nice, they overcooked the girlfriends burger a bit but our server compensated with a free dessert. Quality eating establishment, well worth the money for a nice date night.

Great Pizza...beers were good but pretty generic....no "wow I need to buy that" brews

A portage favorite! I've been to quite a few of the other local breweries and I still like Latitude's 42's beer the best, especially their fruit beers. Their food is amazing as well!

Usually like this place, but not this time. Burger was way over cooked and dry. Fries were bottom of the barrel, small and cold. I went to put my beer on the table and it tipped over from a bubble in the tables particle board wood. After it happened noticed there were several of those bubbled up spots In our table. Several other tables nearby were not much better. On the bright side our server was very nice and did all she could. Disappointed but will try again in the summer.

No real negatives to talk about, 4 start rating is just leaving room for perfection. Tried 2 beers and the cider, all were 2 thumbs up! Had an app and 2 entrees, again, all were thumbs up!

Idea is great, decor and food choices are ok. Waitstaff was subpar. We were told 30 minutes for a wait time, seated 55 minutes later. We waited another 22 minutes until our waitress came to take our drink order. Once the drinks came she put her hands around the top of all of our glasses instead of the bottom... 40 minutes after we ordered and we still had not received our food. Mind you, three out of four of us ordered burgers, one ordered ribs. Once the food arrived the waitress put her arms across us to serve the food instead of walking around the small table to serve us correctly. Once it arrived the ribs were cold and the waitress wasn't very friendly about sending them back. The second time the meal was brought out it was still cold. To wait that long for cold food..... After dinner we had to request the bill and a box because we didn't want sick off of cold food. The manager did deduct the ribs off of the bill... But it still didn't compensate for the lack of customer service and timeliness. Im not expecting excellent service but it was poor enough I won't go back.

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

I have gone into Latitude 42 twice within the past month and have not had pleasant experiences.

My girlfriend and I went in to Latitude 42 about a month ago for the first time, on a Thursday night. We were informed that there was a 30-40 minute wait for a table. The suggestion was made by the hostess that we could sit at the bar if we would like. Perfect! So my girlfriend and I went to the bar and sat down. A few minutes passed, no interaction with the bartender. A few more minutes passed, still no interaction. Finally, after more than 10 minutes of waiting, still no bartender had approached us and inquired as to what we would like. We immediately got up and left, puzzled as to why no one behind the bar (from what we could tell there were two bartenders working that night...) approached us.

Once again, my girlfriend and I were looking for something to eat last night (Sunday) so we decided to give Latitude 42 another try. We walked into the establishment and were immediately greeted by a hostess. We were sat at a table without any problem. Then the long wait began once again. A few minutes passes, no one came to our table. A few more minutes passed. Nothing. A few servers walked by without so much as acknowledging us. We waited for about five minutes and then once again, we got up and walked out.

Very, very poor customer service. We didn't get to try any beer. We didn't get to try any appetizers. We didn't get to try any of the entrees. We went to Latitude 42 twice and didn't speak to one of the waitstaff each time we were there. Poor.

A mention needs to be made of the atmosphere. From the outside, the establishment appears to be very "cozy," with brewing structures visible from Portage Road. Going in you think, "cozy, beer, entertaining." Once you get inside you're met with a very cold, contemporary feel. The place is LOUD. Concrete-looking floor. Expansive ceiling. Nothing on the walls. My girlfriend and I felt as though we had to shout to hear one another during normal conversation.

I've given Latitude 42 two chances and they have failed miserably both times. I will never return to Latitude 42.

Great menu. Very nice place.

Beer was good, really liked the porter and the American ale was nice and easy to drink. Didn't blow my mind... but also, good enough that I want to good back and see what more they have to offer as brewer settles into creative successes.

The food was good; priced ok; honestly stayed on the small plate side and kids menu.. but all the items impressed and comfortably good. The burger was fine, classic early-business fare, I can see this getting better with time as well, but I thought the overall experience was a nice local hit. Service was great when it was great... spotty when staff caught in transitions between 'who's getting what table". We never waited for a thing, bevs/beer was spot-on, food was fast to table, but did see other tables get caught in gap a bit.

Had a wonderful time with great food and the love of my life. Celebrated our 25th!

The most amazing Beer Cheese! OMG! Great service, everyone is so friendly and tolerates us staying past closing time. Love this place! Oh yeah, and amazing beer!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretzels with cheese dip...awesome. Burger and fries were done to perfection. Macaroni and smoked cheese almost as good as my own homemade. Flavorful beers.
The wait staff were attentive and friendly. We will go back to enjoy this fine restaurant again.

Our lunch was fantastic and the chocolate Stout was delicious.

This place has a very comfortable atmosphere and a super family friendly staff. The food was pretty delicious and freshly prepared with everything from burgers and fries to pizza to even vegan meals. I had the chipotle chicken tacos and must say it didn't really have a chipotle kick to it, but with a little sriracha it was perfect. The beer menu was across the board and everything was delicious on that end.

The only real problem we had was a waitress, Rachel, (not ours thankfully) that was having a very loud conversation with what seemed to be her friends from outside of work, about topics that are best left to behind closed doors i.e. her lady bits and sex life, which made everyone at our table uncomfortable especially because we had a child with us. Thankfully after management was contacted it was taken care of and we received a sincere apology.

If you would like supreme service and a lovely attitude make sure you ask for Cayla!

This place is always fantastic. If your thinking about it go for it. Burgers are always perfect. Somw of the other things may be just good. But you will not regret it.

Tacos and Turkey sandwich were really good. Staff was jovial and helpful!

These bad reviews on here crack me up. "I have to pay for guacamole, ill never visit again" boohoo. This restaurant is successful because the food is amazing, the beer is amazing, and Sue is always there. Curious if you should hit this place up for dinner? DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE OUT OF TOWNERS. Your welcome!

Great service (Coco) and the best lobster roll I've ever had. The edamame appetizer was superlative. My husband had the bean burger, as always...his favorite.

Love, love it. Great food, I had Ottis fried chicken dinner. The best! Great beer, and excellent service. The only downfall, is the acoustics. It's very noisy. Everytime, my husband laughed, the table next to us glared.

A fairly large venue. Clean and spacious with a large bar in the middle. We were passing thru and stopped by here to have a few beers and grab some food. We started off with some loaded beer cheese and chips which I found to be good and what I expected. Then went with the goat cheese and shrimp pizza which was fantastic and want more. They have a lot of their beers on tap. I never saw anything on a menu for flights, but saw a few people getting them. We sat at the bar and there were only about 20 people in the whole place and service was a little on the slow side.

We had a large party, and were seated quickly according to our reservation. Thankfully, we were put in a separate room, where noise levels were much more manageable. Staff was terrific, serving quickly and keeping perfect track of the many orders. Food was quite good for being "bar food". Would definitely return. Sorry to say I can't comment on the beers, as I didn't have any.

Go here at least once a week. The best food and craft beers in the area! Try the pretzels and cheese for an appetizer. You won't be disappointed.

Great food and cocktails. Floor was s bit slippery though. Was afraid I was going to fall getting to and from the table and I was wearing flat sandals.

It's a trendy place, with gluten free and vegan options, but the food is excellent. Our server was new, but got the order right.

This place has a good amount of seating compared to other local breweries. Table service with a large menu featuring a variety of pizzas, sandwiches, entree's and desserts. Great variety of beer and wine (with spirit's coming soon!). Service was fast and friendly, and while the food is a little on the pricey side compared to other breweries, it's mainly sourced locally and is high quality and delicious, so it's worth it. My favorite brewery company in the area, highly recommend!

This location rocks!! Unfortunately the other location does not...made a huge mistake and tried the other one in Kalamazoo. Never want to deal with the manager Julie again.....

Their $10 chicken skewers are not chicken thighs as advertised, they're chicken breast cut up into tiny pieces only about two bites worth.Service wasn't so great after letting them know I wasn't so satisfied with my order...

Good beer,food and service. My order was wrong but it always is everywhere. My only complaint is that when the order was sent back it came back 10 seconds later with what was wrong scraped off. As if it wouldn't be tasted or noticed a new burger was made in seconds.. pretty petty of the cook.

This place has exceptional service and good food. They also have quite a selection of beers. We will definitely be back.

Even though this new and awesome brewery was very busy when we went (we went on a Friday night), we received excellent service. The staff was friendly, and this brewery has amazing beers! I tried every single one, and I promise you, there is not one bad one! I didn't try the food other than sweet potato and truffle fries, which were good, but I hear they have excellent food as well.

Wifi doesn't work. Food = overpriced for what you get. Beer = mediocre at best. They need original flagship brews. Not predictable junk (think Big Buck Brewery).

Food and service consistently excellent. This is a place where I never order the same dish twice, so many good ones to choose from. My whole family loves it. The pretzels with cheese dip appetizer is a must!
