I just want to share my appreciation for my agent, Linda. She helped me a lot with the publications of my two Biographies - Menachem Begin A:Life (Yale University Press, 2012) and Ben Gurion, his latter years in the political wilderness (Rawman& Littlefield, 2016).
She's given vague recommendations on re-writing my script while letting me know SHE offers an editing service for a fee (ethical??). My script is so good that another, more highly regarded agent has now signed me while Langton is still saying it needs more work and they are happy to help (again for a fee). Total scam artists! Move on!!
My experience at Linda Langton Book Marketing International has been fabulous. As a writer this is what I needed in order to see my own truths as a writer. This helps improve my flaws. This is what I searched for, a real professional opinion and I must take it in if I am going to learn. This is a place surrounded by kind, professional workers and I have learned much.

Linda Langton's agency is outstandingly good - and believe me, I know, because I've been a client for years now. I worked for her during college. She's (as mentioned above) a complete scam artist. Her agency is run out of her 1BR apartment, and by 'agency,' I mean her and 8 (as in two less than 10) unpaid interns.
She isn't a real literary agent. The premise is to make money by sourcing people to her "book editing" service, not identify and sign talented writers.
So, yea... if you want your manuscript reviewed by a handful of 19 year olds, and then an offer to "help you polish for a reasonable fee," definitely send her your stuff.
Linda Langton knows every aspect of the publishing world. Putting my writing in the capable hands of Linda is one of the smartest moves I ever made.
