After purchasing a 2018 Jeep Compass at McLarty in March I had nothing but good things to say (review seen below), but since then the service and responsiveness - or lack there of - has been extremely disappointing. I took my car in more than once for an issue I had been having and after 15 minutes of looking at it they told me it was a "normal design characteristic of the car" and an upcoming software update would help reduce the issue (not fix it, but reduce it). After a few weeks of frustration at the lack of responsiveness from the service team and still no clarity on the issue of my BRAND NEW car, I decided to take it somewhere else. This other dealership listened to me, went through a trial and error process, found the issue and fixed it. Very disappointed with my experience with the service team at McLarty. (August 2018)
(March 2018- 5 stars) As a first time car buyer, I was extremely nervous, but the staff at McLarty made this process so seamless. From the time I requested more info online about a car, to signing my last signature after buying, the staff were friendly, helpful and respectful. I will confidently recommend McLarty and Rick Izquierdo to friends looking to purchase a car.
