Amazing! The English service is great and stayed for a little Spanish music. Wish had more time to watch Spanish service. The music is incredible. Especially the Spanish.

I'm Ronnie, In September 2017 I was in a coma for 3 1/2 weeks I missed all of the Harvey weather. The doctors told my son to go make my burial arrangements because I was not going to make it. Doctors said all my vital organs were shutting down. My son called Dodie Osteen who prayed for me over the speaker on my sons cell phone at my bedside. The next day I woke up. All the doctors and nurses told me they could not explain why I am alive. I told them I can. I'm alive because of GOD. GOD is real and still on the throne today. Doctors and nurses at this hospital are still shocked to see me when I go for my check ups. On Saturday February 8, 2020 I was baptized at Lakewood Church by Joel. I've had the honor to meet and talk to all of the Osteen family. In spring of 2018 I could barely walk but my son got me to Lakewood Church for a service where I was honored to meet, Joel, Victoria, Paul , Lisa and most of all Dodie. I thanked Dodie for her prayers. Dodie refers to me as her miracle. Just by me being alive today I am a miracle.
I want to thank all of the Osteen family for what they have done for millions of people all over the world. I always do and always will keep all of the Osteen family in my daily prayers so they can all continue to help all of GOD'S children. Thanks again for everything.

Love the services parking is a little bit of a headache but for the purpose of being there well worth it

Not just the best church I ve ever attended but the best place I ve ever been. The ushers are so friendly. Some may look sarcastic and seem sarcastic but let me tell you something, once you have Christ, you re important. Whatever anyone does, should not affect your livelihood. I went to this church on a Saturday night. 7pm. Was amazed. Even smelled sweet anointment in the place. Literally fresh sweet fragrance.
I went back the Sunday 8:30am and spent all day! 12 hours , worshipping in different services: the 830am. I even attended the 4pm Spanish youth service, met friends who helped with translation. Loving set of people who even gave me a list of activities including dinner that the whole group normally just go out and socialize and eat. You won t feel left out.
The main Spanish service prior to this was even more fulfilling. Awesome, I bowed down and worship Christ with just the presence that cane over the atmosphere because I don t speak Spanish.
The 7pm youth service was the tip of the iceberg. I was overfilled with God s anointing with Hillsong songs and other worship songs.

I literally started to tremble then realized it was time for me to go home. I left around 8:20pm in my Lyft.

Unfortunately was not in the area at the time of service but was allowed to check in and visit the bookstore. It was an awesome place with a great prices.

Pastor Joel O'Steen and (First Lady) Mrs. Victoria O'Steen, are blessed by God to feed us all with the word of God. While driving in my car, I only listen to Sirius XM 128 (Pastor O'Steen station). I would love to visit the church so I can see them in person. You're both Inspirational speakers for the most high God, and thank you for that. May God continue to Bless you both and the ministry. What a special place. Travelling from far they made us feel at home from the first minute of entering till the last minute.

Very well organised parking. Keep an eye out for the signs all around the church. There is also a shuttle taking people to the lots that are a bit further to walk but all in doable walking distance if one doesn t struggle with walking.

Despite the size it feels cozy. Love the positivity and great spirits in and around the church. The people are amazing.

Check out there evening program other than the services, too!

This man does not preach out of love. His watered down heresy. If he truly loved his congregation he d preach the truth of the gospel, the infallible word of God. The way of salvation only through the Lord Jesus Christ.

I listen to Pastor Joel Josten's preaching and really in the name of Jesus Christ that word has helped me a lot ... and I live far away

fake gospel, don't waste your time. If you believe Joel is a God fearing person, you need to pray and ask God to give you discernment.

The word of GOD is preached as the Holy Word of God says in his holy bible.

How GREAT is our God! Jesus truly is our antivenom! Amen!!

Pastor worth millions, in face of a crisis doesnt care.

Lakewood is a good service to attend with a multitude of diverse people (all ages, ethnicities, and cultures brought into one place). If you work and are not able to attend service on Sunday, there is still hope! Lakewood has services on Wednesday, Saturday, and live online. Services are also saved online for a later viewing. There is plenty of warm welcoming people at this congregation house. Please speak with a Church leader if you are interested in volunteering. This is very much a fun and family filled environment for any new believer in Christ or similar to my service, a more seasoned believer in Christ. -alz

We are new to lake wood we plan on going back. We loved it they have so much going on for the kids. Great experience for us.

I love this church! It has been my church home for almost two years now. I dedicated my life to Christ at this church, 2/1/17, a date I'll never forget! I always walk out of every service encouraged! Pastor Joel is one of the most humble people I have ever known! All the pastors at this church are awesome!

Wednesdays you may catch John Gray, Lisa Osteen, Phil Munsey or Nick Nilson depending on the schedule. Saturday night and Sunday morning is usually Pastor Joel unless there is a guest speaker such as Joyce Meyer or even Tyler Perry! Sunday night's is the Young Adult service and usually Pastor Nick preaches but sometimes it's a guest like Tauren Wells.

If you're in the Houston area looking for a church home or even just visiting, you gotta check this place out - you won't regret it!

Beautiful place to meet spiritually, and easy to get to and park

I love the atmosphere and the motivational word they preach. I've been going here for 12 years or so. This place has become like a second home for me. Love it and I love the people that work so hard to keep this place going.

What a beautiful arena! I had to do a lot of walking from the parking garage, but it was an enjoyable first visit.

I love Pastor John Gray!! He is so funny and an amazing preacher! Pastor Joel and Lisa and all the others are wonderful as well. I only watch the sermons online but would love to attend in person one day. I bet it is incredible in person.

What was that Jesus said about rich people getting into heaven? Oh yeah now i remember...

I would say Joel is a great motivational speaker! He gives hope and makes you feel uplifted. But to Say he is preaching Gods word is deplorable. The only verse I've ever heard him actually quote, I looked it up in three bibles. Thinking maybe different versions would say it differently, they did word it differently but they spoke about false prophets... Joel was talking about God wants us to thrive and be happy. Hmmmm I think he is preaching about another God. I challenge each of you to listen but prove what he's saying by looking it up for yourself. I have read a lot about Jim Jones and Joel osteen has way to many similarities for my comfort! I pray that God will show all of Joel's followers the light.

Felt like heaven... The praise was lifting and Love is what you feel when you are there. I feel like family whenever I am there.

Awesome place to worship. The Worship and Word are extraordinary. Solid facility and good administrative grace.

My family & I recently took a vacation to the grand canyon and decided to go to Easter service. It was even more impressive in person and was worth the trip from Ohio. We will go back in the future.

Lakewood Church is located in Houston, Texas in the former Compact Center. It is a fairly large place, it has a capacity for 16,800 people seated. The Pastor is Joel Osteen.

Please, someone explain to me how this place even got this review. The guy is a phony, and doesn't care about others. This place is built on lies and pretends to focused on Christ when in fact its just one large banking accounting for Olsteen.

My life hasn't been the same for the better! I love my pastors and my church! Such a blessing to have this amazing congregation in Houston!

Haven't been in person yet, but hoping to make a visit soon. Pastor Joel and his ministry have helped so many. I watch broadcasts online and am so grateful for this resource.

Pastor Joel always hits the nail on the head God will be dealing with me on something and Pastor Joel Osteen confirms and preaches on what God has been showing me that week , even his associate pastor John Grey does and awesome job also

My first visit to Lakewood. Great worship, people responded to prayer time. Joel preached on vision, looking into our future and claiming our vision.

I went to Lakewood a few years ago, moved away out of town, and have now been back for about seven months. I LOVE this church. All of the pastors collectively (Pastor Joel, Pastor Paul, Pastor John Gray, and Pastor Lisa) have each touched and helped me in my spiritual growth. It is a big church but it really doesn't feel big at all. I highly recommend at least watching online during the services.

I ve been attending Lakewood for 8 years. Best church I have been to.

All the staff we came in contact with was friendly, helpful, and courteous. First time visiting and it was awesome. Worship service was uplifting. My daughter and I were Blessed to meet Pastor Joel and Victoria Osteen. Next time I visit Houston, I will attend another service. Parking lot was easy to enter and they have shuttle service to the Sanctuary. Recommend getting to the Church 30 minutes before service begins.

For such a big church the feeling you get is that of a smaller family. You hardly ever see the same person sitting by you but it almost feels like you know everyone. Osteen isn't my very favorite preacher of all ti.e but in the Houston area he is indeed my favorite.

Went to a Celebrate Recovery anniversary. Such high energy. Great programs.

Joel's analogy's really helps bring the word of God into perspective, which has helped me root my faith in continuing to let God work through me.

Visited the church on Wednesday and John Gray delived the word of God. Can't wait to hear Joel Olsteen. The church is huge, bookstore amazing and the church grounds are awesome.

I learned what the gospel was truely about. I alwayd feel at peace.

I am soooo thankful to God for giving us Pastor Joel Osteen to teach us about God and his promises, help us, guide us and encourage us. My life changed tremendously since I started going to Lakewood Church. Just to say one example once I was sick and now I'm healed because I learnt to trust God and declared his promises. I am also able to encourage my family in Peru who didn't know much about God. They also went through some difficult tests and were able to come out successfully. All because they too learned that God loves us and wants the best for us.
