Life changing experience...God is good not some of the time, but all the time!!

My family and I miss the worship we used to enjoy in Lakewood church, since we went back to live in Nigeria.One amazing thing is that,the christian foundation my children have today,came from the lessons taught them at Lakewood.The truth is that we are yet to see that atmosphere of worship in our church here in Nigeria.Yes there is intense PRAYER,PROPHESY and DELIVERANCE,here,but there is something about worship atmosphere in Lakewood church,my family cannot wait to be in that presence asap.God bless you all.

Once I relocated to the Houston area, well there was No doubt to actually visit Amazing So much Love, Friendly people with Smiles! Genuine.... Relocated to another state due to circumstances... By far the best preacher I have EVER listened to! Thank you Joel times a million if it wasnt for your encouraging words I have no idea where I would be when my husband got killed on 22 Sept 2018. Theres a reason why God blessed you with the biggest church possible because of your HEART and all the millions of people you reached! I cannot think of a better place to be on any Sunday afternoon then the spirit filled Lakewood church and its people listening to the amazing Pastor Joel Osteen

I tried giving it a chance good parking they have alot of programs. They have child care which is awesome! Greeters are nice and helpful! Huge facility! The pastors greet you at the end. Good worship. The have a in Spanish too.

The ushers ok sometimes , they have a huge statue of the dad which is all cool if you want to give homage but it gives off book of daniel-nebuchadnezzar vibes

In the end: it is up to you to experience it yourself

My reason for 1 star:
He uses passages and gives great life advice which is cool and all because it is positive and puts me in an optimistic mood but after its over, I m left feeling hungry for the word of god. I just feel alone, it s a huge church and it feels lonely like I m the only one experiencing this. That s why I left. Reading the bible during sermons and not just in bible study is the greatest pleasure in life. I m not saying do/don t go. Just know that god is faithful and he called you by name. Pray to him to give you discernment

I haven't been the same ever since I started viewing the service

Place to experience the presence of God, an excellent adoration and the word imparted by Pastors Danilo and Gloria to Montero is a blessing to the body of Christ and to everyone who needs Jesus. Come to your meetings!

Lakewood Church is home for me, Pastor Joel and the whole team are wonderful people giving of their time to teach us. I'm Proud to give tithe to God's work.

Small churches preach the word of God! This place is a joke and is not a church. When Jesus returns I'm sure this place will be nothing but dust! As the true words will be spoken by the son of God!

Great place of worship plus great place for the kids

I visited Lakewood because the man I am dating asked me to go to church with him. I recently got a divorce and had been depressed and lost. It didn't help that my Catholic upbringing had taught me that divorce was a sin and a failure. I had been looking for a new church, thinking about attending a couple in my part of town, but I really think God worked through Mel to bring me to Lakewood. My first service, I was incredibly moved by John Gray's sermon and I liked Lisa Osteen Comes's welcome prayer so much that I decided to come back to hear her preach Wednesday. I have never been so moved, so consistently, in any religious ceremony. I joined the church and have rededicated my life to Christ. I have read the Fresh Start book and purchased my first Protestant Bible. I have been attending for only two weeks-four services-but already I am changed. My depression is gone and I have already seen the Lord working in my life to help me and make things better. Come to Lakewood. You will never be the same.

We have not gone there for services, but we have gone for women's meetings, me and my daughter enjoyed it very much.

My friend who lives in Sugarland attends this church and it's always a pleasure when ever I am in the Houston area to visit. Its always a spirit filled and soul uplifting time.

One of the best places to worship! Everyone was so kind and helpful. To be a big church...its very organized.

This ministry saved my life. There is much more here than meets the eye. Each service is more like an event. The 5 star Double Tree Hotel eateries, next-door, are a great place to hangout after the service while the parking garage empties-out. The Double Tree is accessible from the Lakewood parking garage -- on the way back to your car. No traffic issues at all 1 hour after the service.

Really is a great place God bless everyone Joel is a wonderful person with a beautiful church family . I want to say thank you to everyone their for making us feel family.

I love Lakewood! Went there when it was The Summit & saw acts such as Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, U2 & others. Now it's rock & roll in the spiritual realm & praying in the heavy church! Rock on, Joel & Victoria!

Uplifting and friendly as soon as you arrive. Service times for all. Sat and Sun both. Encourage all to attend. They have lovely children's classes and focus on biblical thru play and song with young children.

Beautiful church , great services , and what a wonderful experience!!!! Me and my husband been going to Lakewood a little over a year now. It's a life changing experience for me & my husband and like a concert of praise . The Ushers are very friendly. Its the best feeling you can ever have if your making a change in your life or trying to find a church you can call home. And I just love how the church is multicultural . Lakewood is a wonderful church. Their service is truly a non-denominational service. The ushers are super friendly. They are equally knowledgeable. The environment is relaxed and welcoming. I've visited the bookstore during the week and the attention and aid to help find what you are looking for is a refreshing encounter.

It was very nice. I wanted to Join but we live out of state. I hope we can come again.

The experience here is amazing, i found Christ here and was very happy to find such sweet people that would receive me with joy.

God lead me and my husband to this church over 6years ago and I can true thank my Lord above for His guidance, love, mercy and grace.
