I am a member of this church! I love the energy at church, the praise & worship is so full filling. God's word is always on point! Saturday evening service is very intimate, less people= less hustle & bustle. Easier to park too. I also enjoy Wed night service, especially when Pastor John Gray is minister ing. No matter what, it's a blessing to be a part of this church

My first time visiting Lakewood and I truly enjoyed myself. The church family really made me feel welcomed and loved! Pastor John Gray brought an awesome message, titled Daylight Saving Time! Although, I Wished I could have met Pastor Joel Osteen.

Joel Osteen is an amazing preacher. Lakewood does a great thing here.

TV "DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE!" The sermon was EXCELLENT, the worship singing was great, and the testimonials of how the Lord and the church has helped the members was GREAT! I was impressed with Joel and Victoria, they were going to leave but, stayed and greeted us. The highlight of the ENTIRE TRIP!

I highly recommend getting there EARLY and know where to park. I truly feel blessed I went!

I see a lot of bad ratings. How many of you have ever pastored a church? Or that a congregation? Or had a good foundation of people who come together for the same goal each week expecting the same thing really achieving it? My word to all the naysayers and people with hardened hearts is that I am praying for you. You might not like this service but I hope you go somewhere you do like and find comfortable. As for me I like stepping outside of my comfort zone just like God intends us to do. Just like the pastors at the church preach. At the end of every message Joel does ask people to come to God the right way through Christ. Everyone has their own personal interpretation of the Bible. People go to the same church because they have the same beliefs and fundamental values of their relationships with God for the most part. If you do not agree with these messages or the way they're being taught that's okay. Not wrong just different. So God bless all of you

I was a Buddhist. Year 1999 I got a DVD from my aunt.I didn't know what was in that.
when I watch Joel Osteen was preaching. My whole life change and I wanted to be a christian. I found My wife at that time and she was a Roman Catholic. I started to go to church and I became a Catholic. Now I'm full time serving God. I work in a catholic organization. we do retreats all over the world. God has taken me from Sri Lanka and taken me to the ends of the earth. I loved to visit lakewood one day it is my dream.
I listen to Joel Osteen Every week. it is given me the power to work for the lord for more than 12 years. One day I will Meet you in heaven if I don't have the chance to meet you here in earth. there r so many people watch you here. I thank God for your ministry. Because of you I'm with God right now.

I love the messages Joel Osteen delivers. His transparency and inspiring messages hits deep to ones soul and mind set. Also, the atmosphere and church staff are kind and accommodating.

House of God, living presence of the supernatural Power of God

When listening to Joel Osteen speak, I become overjoyed with knowing that everything that may go through in life, that has weighed me down is only temporary. When God laid his hands upon this man he truly annoited him and allowed him to have his anointing within him,so that he blesses others through his messages.

How can I express into words how incredible this place is! My sweet wife and I drive down every year out of state 10 hours to attend the Spark Marriage Conference. We love so much the Marriage ministry at Lakewood. We love the Brights! Such great teachers! We love the Marriage classes so much. Pastor Joel s teaching to so inspiring! We meet him in person after service, he had such a humble spirit. This place is really real! Even better than on TV, in person. We highly recommend Lakewood so much!

I m from Michigan and I decided to attend Sunday s service! This place was phenomenal! The worship music is off the chain y all! They definitely jam in here. I personally love how they get right to the point and don t drag church on like some churches may do. All staff here are very nice and welcoming! I will definitely return when I return back to the Houston area.

WOW. Joel was right. I felt right at home. Very sweet volunteer staff.

This is MY church! And my children s church! And my son, who has autism LOVES attending their champions club - check If out if you ve a child or know someone with special needs! This is the place to go! I thank God for Lakewood everyday!

Some of the best worship I've ever experienced. They have a true heart to love and serve people.

My son and I had the most amazing experience at Lakewood this past weekend. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and welcomed! I got to sit up front and even got to pray with Joel. What a Blessing this all was! The music is truly inspirational and upbeat. It was like a concert. My 8 year old was amazed and we will definetely go back soon. Thankful for such a beautiful experience and thankful to meet Pastor Joel. He's such a humbling man! Can't wait to go back!

Always very friendly and above all a beautiful place to seek the presence of God

Based on watching online, sermons are not up their preaching as they do out of service. Joel Osteen plus the staff are about the money. A lot of talk not walk the action. Do not waste your time with them as the vibe does not have a real heart.

Love coming to the Spanish service at 2:00pm, really missed Marcos Witt he left the church in 2012, the Spanish service is now pastored by Danilo Montero, the worship has always been amazing here . Place is overwhelming and has great ushers that seem very passionate to serve the lord.

I've been here several times.. Anybody is welcome, all pride aside..

Every time I go to Lakewood my life gets better and better..

I had been dying to attend this church for years. I am visiting Houston and finally got my opportunity. The worship team is absolutely mind-blowing. The rest of the experience was kind of a disappointment. I will go back to see John Gray and see if he is as good as he seems on the telly.

Love it, kool, I try to go every Sunday. If I can't make it, I'm watching it on TV. So guess you can say, "I'm still went to church".

Ohhh man what more can I say but wow, I meet a deacon who took my information to give to the pastor and pointed me to some service that were opened as this venue(be as large as it is) had to stay closed for public safety.

Totally a new experience .. peace of mind with amazing music ..

Pastor Joel is a real God fearing man, he believes everything that is in the bible.

Joel Olsten is a hack and a faker and is leading people to straight to hell for God Sake read the bible was Jesus a rock star millionaire? Nope to make matters worse this guy won t even help his local community in a time of need after a major hurricane.

Though I promise you he has no problem counting those hundreds you blindly giving him every Sunday to support his Learjet, Lamborghini and his multimillion dollar house.

I loved the music, encouraging sermon, and the greeters were incredibly kind and welcoming. I can't wait to be in town so I can attend again. Even my middle school kids loved it.

I watch services every week. They lift my spirit and have changed my life. Joel Osteen really is a nice guy too. He's not faking what he preaches. My husband is a ramper at the San Jose Airport and he helped Mr. Osteen with his bags. He talked to my husband and bought him coffee and said he'd pray for me when he heard I was sick and his wife Victoria gave him a little bow to give me to put in my hair. Such nice people! I really believe they speak from the heart and that they have pulled a lot of people (like me) out of dark places.

My Husband went to be with the Lord on Judy 20 2018. I have been so broken and i felt so overwhelmed. I tuned in to the message this morning and I felt the spirit of God fall upon my life and I want to thank the Lord Jesus for healing my scars. Thank You Pastor Joel

I love Lakewood Church!!! I have been attending since Pastor John was living and I love Pastor Joel and the Osteen Family. They really make you feel Great about yourself. They have classes to teach you how to cope with everyday living. I wouldn't go to any other church but Lakewood!!! Thank you to all of the Workers and Team Members, and Team Leaders!!!

It is easy to preach positivity when you're worth 40 million.

He never addresses the negative side of life. But like a coin there's 2 sides.

Joel Osteen is using preaching as a business. His spouse even said we are not doing it for God but ourselves. Is it supposed to be a CHURCH? Or a law of attraction class? You cannot serve two masters at the same time.

Great church to worship the message is always on time

I used to come here awhile back but I stopped going. I don t know I just got bad vibes after awhile. They always talk about the same thing to me about how he got the compact center. Victoria always talked about how you have to give your money to them to have a spot in heaven. I don t know I just don t go there no more. But I do admit that I was going through a rough time and it did bring me up. So that s why I gave them 4 stars.

Best of the best! Great people, greeters are fine. Not difficult to get in or out and Pastor Joel Osteen is the best. Love it and grateful for the church. Near everything so can go early and grab coffee, dinner or dessert.

Blessed service and worship. Heart warming and encouraging message.

Really fun church and once in a while they have a teen revival party which is very fun and I would recommend it.

From the moment you enter the Church and hear the music it's beautiful, but when you start to listen to the lyrics of healing, deliverance, gratitude, joy etc... it feels amazing. The message is deep and empowering, it remind us of not giving up our relationship with our Jesus Christ.

It's a Great Place to Worship! You feel a warmth and Welcomed!

My family started going to Lakewood church in February of 2017. AMAZING. We drive 160 miles round trip every Sunday. I travel back on Tuesday nights for Maximized Manhood class. My 19 year old son even joined the class. Most Loving People you'll ever meet. Kudos to Pastor Joel and the entire Ministry Team at Lakewood.

Always feel inspired , so many resources for everyone , love this church.

It s was a wonderful experience. The crowd was huge. Parking space was kind of hard but nice people. And at the end it s all worth it

I am disappointed in the fact that I was willing to volunteer to help those in need ,signed up got a confirmation number ....and was just notified by email that my volunteer schedule was canceled I would have appreciated an email yesterday before I started traveling from New Mexico . I am greatly disappointed but will continue the 12 hr drive to unload donated supplies .

It is awsome church with great programs for the children. It's the best church, we love it.
