It's a blessing to attend a service at lake wood church cause I was just passing by

I ve had the blessing of attending this church since I was born and I am now 30 years old and the knowledge, guidance, direction and connections I ve encounter are endless. First learning from Dodie and John Osteen to now Joel and Victoria Osteen are everyday life teaching experiences I am forever grateful for. I was baptized as a baby by my mother and father but when I finished reading the Bible all the way through from beginning to end this past month (07/22/2019) I got a sudden urge to go get rededicated and I recently was baptized by Joel himself on 08/17/2019 and it was an amazing experience as Jesus himself was also baptized at age 30 when I thought about that resemblance I was just in total awe that I too was am entering into a prime new level of my calling. When I went through my toughest time losing my car to HURRICANE HARVEY my church Lakewood stepped in at that fickle time for me and provided me with a $2,000 gift card that I was able to use to go toward replacement of my vehicle. Their has been countless time when I ve needed help and the church and church family have helped me. I m a strong believer and I believe once you re planted in the house of the Lord you shall flourish and that s exactly what I ve been doing all my life especially as a tithes giver I see GOD S hand in every step of the way in my life. I Highly recommend to give this church a year of your life, get really involved whether that be, volunteering, missions, life groups or the enormous amount of free classes, workshops or live concerts but your life will never be the same for the better in JESUS mighty name AMEN.

Amazing experience. It all started from the friendly people that greet you when you come in. The music and upbeat positive sermon by Joel and Victoria lifted me.

I m from Canada and would highly recommend anyone visiting Houston to visit.

The staff here bent over backwards to make sure our stay was a great one. The rooms are spacious and clean. Thank you for making our first of five days an enjoyable one!

I always have an amazing time in the presence of God. I love seeing brothers and sisters in Christ from different races lifting up hands in worship together. Live services mean that if I'm not able to make it, I can catch it on YouTube.

I'm from Northern Indiana and I had heard some negative things about Joel Osteen by mostly fundamentalist preachers and churches, I have Sirius in my pick up, so I began to listen to ch. 128 and let me tell you, they are wrong and judgemental. I had changed churches from a fundamentalist to a Community Church and that Church is just like Lakewood so full of Love, careing, they are real all the way, and you should see this 60 y/o ex stuffy man with his hands in the air to the Lord and dancing PTL keep proclaiming His truth and freedom in Christ...

I learned to worship GOD as it has to be, it is a blessing to my life

They took my prayer, and I feel very thankful because of that!

You can definitely feel the spirit of God when you enter his church. Praise and worship is one of my favorite parts along with the sermons.

Lakewood is an amazing church and the people are phenomenal. I have been following the news, social media feeds and updates since Hurricane Harvey started. During times of crisis at such massive scale, people are usually in shock even if they are trained to manage crisis and are leaders. Dr Paul, Dodi and Lisa, you have been amazing to watch. Dr Paul, maybe God called you to kick things off as a leader because this is your defining moment with your unique skills, training and past experiences. Pastor Joel, so glad to see you walk your talk of having unwaivering faith, be still and know that He is God, be steadfast, showing us when it's the right time to defend yourself, your family and your church, and not reacting to every false accusation or criticism on social media. As Victoria said before, sometimes bad things happen to us. God has a plan for you and I can't wait to see you come out of this even bigger, stronger and better than before. Joel Osteen is such a great preacher, one of the best now living, it was such an honor & a blessing to have the opportunity to hear him speak, Lakewood Church was so amazing, and the people there were too!

You can feel God in this place. There is so much love and praise happening! Do much joy! I miss it when I am away.

If you want to go to a Holy Spirit filled church for Sunday service, or for prayer and fellowship this is a very welcoming non-judgemental church. They offer a broad range of services including tax preparation, AA meetings, financial planning and early childhood learning.

Where is the church on this difficult times? It's lot of people in that church in need , due to covid 19, but it's not just you all churches in silence , it's so desapointed

Went to the Ronald McDonald Gospel Show and met the gospel performers and Ronald McDonald. It was an amazing time. VIP presentation was awesome as well.

This church is alright. I just like someone to tell me why does God allow someone who says their Christian to breakup a marriage get pregnant then raise their child to be against the siblings from the original marriage in every way possible and also trying to separate the dad against his original kids? Why would God allow such anti-Christian behavior happen to solid Christians? Can someone post an answer for me?
