I was inspired by this Church with its praises and Preaches of Pastor Danilo Montero, visit the Church to be in a time of communion with God our Lord. It will be until a new opportunity and when God so disposes. Chao Houston

Found God at this church, at the lowest point of my life. I still get goose bumps every time I come.

Never trust a pastor (especially one who is a creationist) who makes money from religion and its preachy followers the church has. (And Joel Osteen has to shove this tosh on a local commercial radio station?) Deplorable.

Watched some of the sermons on TV and loved when he would say get involved in a Bible believing church. Never did he say be a member there or send money.

Even though this is not my church,
I come here everytime i can. I love the smiles, the services, the preachers and the way the church is organized.
Atmosphere is amazing and i can freely worship the Lord.
My kids love to go to the classes but as much as our church since its a smaller one but always enjoy praising God together.

I started going here nearly three years ago to the Young Adult service on Sundays at 7pm. I have gained lifelong friends from here.

Joel Osteen was a great inspirational speaker and delivered a great message. The production was also great and heart moving. The staff made first-time visitors feel very welcome and escorted us to our seats made sure that all of our needs were met and the other people were all friendly.

I have watched Lakewood regularly for years from home. Deciding to go in person today with a friend who is a member was a big deal. Little did I realize how comfortable I would feel and how happy the experience left me. I asked a prayer partner to pray for me on a serious matter and prepared for a quick emotionless prayer. Was I wrong! This person prayed for me like it was his own problem - long and heartfelt, and it brought me and my "keep your emotions private" to tears. Thank you Lakewood...thank you prayer partner. My life is enriched because of you.

I really enjoyed the services but I referred a young lady in a dire situation to the benevolence department. Her baby had accidentally shot herself and was being life flighted to Childrens in Dallas. Because she had three other kids she had to drive. She needed assistance with gas assistance. They told her that they would not be able to help her. Her baby passed before she made it to Dallas. I paid tithes faithfully there. I left once this happened.

AWESOME experience! Absolutely loved attending the Joyce Meyers Conference. Each yr., for my bday in November, in lieu of gifts I ask for my friends & family to attend the 3day conference event Joyce Meyers Ministries brings to Houston, Tx., hosted by the facility of pastor Joel Osteen, his family & brothers/sisters in Christ. Blessings to them all for making our visit memorable. It's a BEAUTIFUL, comfortable place of worship :-) I'm not a "churchy" person but Joyce's teachings have helped me & my loved ones see life clearer, understand our purpose as we.forfill our destiny.

I visited there tonight while down here for Pharmacy school. I saw Pastor Gray. Even better in person. Wow. It was so amazing. The power and energy that you feel in that place. I will be posting pics of my experience here shortly on my Google page.

I find Joel's messages reflect Scripture. However passages cited are terribly inaccurate and do not support message topic!
He needs bible training in hermaneutics to be an even better minister.

Love Joel/Victoria and Lakewood! We live 3 hours away and try to visit every couple months. The services are always awesome! The staff are all super kind, warm, and welcoming. My kids and I watch Joel daily and before ever visiting here, I always wanted to, but thought it would feel a bit overwhelming. It's not at all. It's a beautiful place with such an amazing energy. The feeling my kids and I feel when we visit is just not the same anywhere else that we attend services. It's also such a pleasure to get to say hello to Joel after services. He is so humble and down to earth. He is very patient and kind enough to even spend his time (after services) allowing people to have the opportunity to meet him. My children just adore him so they truly feel such a joy and excitement in getting to meet him, and having their books signed by him. If you haven't been here, we highly suggest you check it out. Wish we could attend here every week.

Beautiful singing and service. Best use of ushers anywhere I've experienced. Parking much easier than expected. Garage has multiple entrances and exits.

Lakewood Church is filled with the Holy Spirit. You can feel it the moment you walk in. It's one of our favorite churches in the whole country. And we are delighted to be warmly welcomed every time we visit.

I love Lakewood Church. My family and I always enjoy the Messege. Praise God

It's sad that a "church" like this is turning people into atheist. This is not a real church. Olsteen never went to seminary school to learn about the bible. For anyone considering to turn away from God because of this guy (Olsteen), then consider a real church first. Real churches are sometimes small but they have welcoming members and pastor. And they preach the truth of the gospel and not about money. I found that Church of Christ or Baptist churches teach the truth and not a watered down gospel.

God is real and He is graceful, but unfortunately Olsteen does not teach the graceful gifts that God gives us. No it is not money, but love and compassion through Jesus Christ. God is merciful and when we ask for forgiveness and are baptized, we have assurance (by the promise that God makes) that we will have an eternal home with Him after we die.

Read the bible and stay away from mega churches that teach false doctrine or a watered down sermon.

It is a beautiful place very cozy, where you can go to praise God and receive from him, easy to reach and has parking

This church has tremendously blessed my family and our life! The Lord is alive and dwells here, everyone from every background and lifestyle gather together and praise and worship. It's a beautiful blessing to witness and be apart of! Amen

Joel is doing a wonderful job for Jesus. His messages inspire me and make me realize that no matter what am facing but our Lord is still on the throne and he is in control of all the situation, tough good or worst our Lord Jesus is always with us all. I attend church at Lakewood regularly. The smiling faces of the greeters at the entrance welcome you into a place of love. From the praise and worship of the music to the soul touching messages of God, being at Lakewood is a wonderful experience. You will look around the church and see a representation of ALL people, and it reminds you that we live in a beautifully diverse world.
