Wish I could put zero stars. Absolutely horrible customer service from "Shay," the telephone customer representative. She was the most abhorrently rude person I've encountered - initially putting me on hold for 20 minutes, then constantly interrupting me, not allowing me to explain the problem, and essentially threatening me that even if they were going to send a service representative back out, that she would intentionally intervene in that request and delay getting a technician out. She then proceeded to tell me everything was "being recorded" which I was glad to hear, in the hopes that her manager will actually listen to how she speaks to customers. (In case management is interested in reviewing for quality control, this phone call occurred 7/22/19 at approximately 12:00 noon.)

I originally posted a positive review of the service technician who came to fix my ice maker 3 months ago. However, the same problem recently started recurring which is why I called to see if they can come back to fix the problem, only to be told that I am now 4 days past the 90 day warranty and there is nothing they can do about it. Shay would not give me the opportunity to speak with a manager to try to resolve the issue and instead said I need to go back to Samsung to get an extension on the warranty. Lakes Electronics should take responsibility for their poor workmanship instead of trying to pass the buck.
