Update 3: 12/16/19 Service Director reached out to us, I am working with them to get issues resolved. Went out of his way to help me out and was very apologetic. Got my front end issues fixed. Thanks for v reaching it to far resolved
Update 2: 12/12/19 business lost forever. We've periodically gone here for oil changes, we even bought a 2nd car from them. However, when it was time for a factory recall work to be done, we chose them because they were close to work.
We had the recall done, we had Factory OEM tires installed, a front end alignment and electrical "work" done. We got a loaner vehicle because of the recall work.
They had it roughly 2 days, and when I went to pick it up, we got charged $70 for "electrical inspection and repair" we were being done a favor, because it normally is $140.
I didn't actually inspect it as I didn't expect a reputable dealership to be fraudulent, but shame on me. They used a table screw to help the negative battery post tight down more. - the screen is between the post and the battery terminal tie down.
If things couldn't get worse, our front end alignment was screwed up. Going straight the steering wheel is turned about 15-20 degrees to the left, and on full right turn the tire rubs.
I called that day or the next, and their next appointment that week didn't work for me. I asked if I had to call back in a certain time and they said no, they would fix it whenever.
Work and holidays get in the way, and I finally find some time. I call to get in, I need to blindly drop the vehicle off for them to see if it's even needed to be re aligned.i ask for a loaner vehicle, because I can't do that, and they are fixing their screw up after all. I get told they need to talk to the supervisor and they will call me back. When I get back on the phone with them, they won't work with me on a loaner, when I express my frustrations politely and I get told "I'm getting my supervisor and get placed on hold" not a offer, but a demand.
The supervisor gives me the same run around, I get annoyed but stay polite and simply ask my wife if she just wants to go else where. My wife takes the phone to talk to the Supervisor and she just talks over her over and over. They won't give us any time frame for how long they would have it. Eventually she tells her that we are being charged, that as soon as we drive off the lot it's no longer warrantied. "We don't know if you hit a pot hole and screwed it up"
So Good Job Lake Norman Chrysler Doge Jeep Ram, you lost a 2 time car buyers family.
Update: we've had the jeep 2 years now and still loving it!!
Me and my wife delt with Jay Tarlowe. Excellent sales men, very friendly and helpful. Even after the sale.
Owned our 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sahara for 2 months. Runs great, so much fun! Will come here again.
