Not the first time, I should have learned my lesson after having waited weeks for them to sort out the transmission problem on my new 2017 Ram 1500. However, I still purchased a 2019 Wrangler in March only to find it's a product of a recall. On calling on Aug. 22nd I was told they had not received the allocation of parts yet and to call back in a few weeks.
I called again on Oct. 1st only to be told the parts needed to be ordered and would likely take several weeks, it's now been 2 weeks and still no closer to getting the parts. In desperation I called Chrysler FCA dept they were about as much use as a chocolate teapot. They said the parts are ordered by VIN # and that they would call when available. It's over 6 weeks since my first call and no sign of when I'm likely to have this defect corrected. Time to change brand and the sooner the better.
