Stopped in today to check out the new name. The place is very clean, modern and posh.

$1000 a night!!!!. I had the intention of spending 2 to 4 nights at a resort, but hell no I am paying $4000. I would much rather spend that money traveling to LA.

I called and it was 2000 for two nights.

Yes lots of activities but I think I can better use that money.

The Lake Austin Spa Resort is an exceptional luxury lodging, dinning and spa option in the greater Austin, Texas area.

My friend purchased a $250 gift card for my birthday. It was purchased today. I cannot use it, and they do not allow refunds. That's ridiculous to me and I can't believe there's not even a 24 hour policy.

My wife and I spent a weekend at Lake Austin Spa Resort for her birthday. It was fantastic across the board. Great food, great atmosphere, and a great room to relax in. My only regret is not booking our spa appointments before we arrived, as almost everything was booked. Thats on me though, and I can't fault the resort. It was a perfect birthday weekend otherwise and I've already recommended some of my friends go.

It's a bit pricey, but worth every penny. Put it on your bucket list and save up because this place is beautiful, awesome staff, fabulous meals, fun activities, and spa services like no other. If you're ready to destress, jumpstart your health and wellbeing goals, or just be pampered, Lake Austin Spa and Resort awaits.

Money grab, massages are nice the rest of the place is a ripoff.

I stayed here for a week last spring and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was warm, gracious, and helpful and the food and accommodations were first rate. I wish that the spa was closer to the main building and rooms since the last thing I wanted to do after my treatments was trek the quarter mile back to my room. But other than that, I can't think of a thing about this place I would change. I'll definitely go back when time and finances permit. Due to a previous post implying that the staff lacks diversity and there's something wrong with that, I'll go ahead and add that I'm a woman of color and was treated with the upmost respect. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking to relax and get in touch with nature.

This wellness retreat in the texas hill country allows me to slow down, turn off my tech and focus on my own needs. Surrounded completely by nature, i'm totally in my happy place here. Food is delicious, French Chef at the helm and the rooms all open to the outdoors - plenty of wide open spaces to take in the fresh air and get out on the lake on a water craft and explore. There are kayaks, SUPs, hydro-bikes and yoga, cooking classes and so much to do throughout the day. Be sure to book your spa appointments early and for an added bonus, book the water taxi from downtown Austin to arrive to the resort in style.

The 4 nights I spent at Lake Austin Spa were absolutely fabulous. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure everything is right. Each and everyone remembers the guests names. Elizabeth in the dining room (among others), was a delight. What a nice way to start the day with her serving breakfast and lunch daily. Special thank you to Amy, the massage therapist. FANTASTIC!! I highly recommend this spa. The entire staff appear to really love and appreciate their jobs! Many classes to choose from daily. It is in the top 3 of my favorite destination spas and I rate it with 5 stars!!!!

Definitely a beautiful place but so overpriced for the massage services . 175$ for 55 minutes ? Totally crazy and out of this world prices.

Excellent destination for isolation, self care, and rejuvenation.

Very relaxing environment. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are not very big, but they're very nice and the pillows are wonderful! Lots of thought goes into little conveniences so that you don't have to think about anything but what's inside of you. Really promotes wellness. There are many activities, but you'll be tempted just to sit by the lake or in one of the cozy spots on the property. I'll definitely be coming back.

I had a wonderful stay. the staff was exremely friendly and accommodating, the activities and instructors were very knowledgeable and professional, the campus had everything that onr could ask for in a resort. the food was very tasty on top of being healthy fresh and calry friendly

I was fortunate enough to spend five amazing nights at Lake Austin. It may have been the last time I was relaxed! The walk up to the spa through the amazing gardens is one of my favorite memories. My favorite treatment was Gifts from the Garden. This treatment has become the standard for which I measure all spa experiences! The food was also amazing - the pecan-crusted trout was a favorite. When can I go back?

I needed to relax. My wife needed to relax. We scoured the internet and eventually booked 4 days at this place.

Well, wouldn t you know it, a storm was coming to Our home town. We contacted them and they were going to let us delay our trip at no charge. They were extremely helpful. Thank goodness the storm went west, so we decided to go.

Well, we were glad we did. From the intro tour to the last minute, it was great. Service was phenomenal. The classes were well taught. The yoga was relaxing. The lake toys were always available.

Cameron was amazing. My wife and I were unable to get up on previous wake surf events. Well, after 2 mins of instruction, she got us up the first try. Worth the private lesson.

We loved the cooking demonstration by chef Stephane.

The food servers were great. Insider tip, order two steaks or two chickens or two of anything for dinner. Book your classes early:

Best massage and facial ever. Massage so good I had to get another for next day. Janette Goodman is amazing at managing spa clientele. All the staff are friendliest and most helpful you will encounter. For a romantic getaway, all husbands should remember LASR.

It is a pretty resort right on the lake with really good views.

Why do not you pay your employees in these difficult days? they have rent/insurance/bills/ you need to support your employees in these difficult times !!!!

Worst experience ever today. Filled out 3 forms that each asked what my birthday was but then gave zero discount or amenity for it being my actual birthday today. Why do you keep asking? Last time we were here we were allowed to use water sports but this time we were not despite not being told about a change in amenities. Asked to borrow a hat and was told no while 6 girls we met who were only there for the spa were given hats and said I should at least get one for my birthday. For the amount of events I've organized and the amount of times I've brought people here this place has gone downhill. I bought a facial for $200 plus resort fee, bought products for $165 bought wine $55 bought lunch $65. And I can't use a kayak for 15 minutes? I will never return and will continue to be sure everyone is aware how awful this place has become.

An absolutely magical place. I recently checked in to Lake Austin Spa Resort with my husband for a quick getaway and was blown away by the newly remodeled room. It was the perfect balance of luxury and comfort and we enjoyed a breathtaking view of the Lake. I was only sad that we had to leave so quickly. Delicious food, impeccable Guest service and relaxing spa treatments. Highly recommend this resort for a girls or couples getaway.

The tranquil atmosphere here is a great experience. The staff are there to help you at a gesture. The food is great with fresh ingredients and the more you come here the more it feels more like home. The treatments are stupendous.

Lake Austin Spa Resort truly lives up to their tagline - "The luxury of a world-class spa. The warmth of a best friend's lakehouse." I'm not your typical "spa resort guy", but I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable the minute I arrived. The staff was inviting and friendly, and I quickly forgot about any awkwardness I had anticipated.

The food is outstanding, while still maintaining a very health-conscious menu. The views are incredible, and the actual spa treatments are well-worth the trip alone. At Lake Austin, you can be as active or inactive as you choose to be.

I think what I was most fascinated with during my visit was the quiet, calm, and peacefulness. There are certainly other resorts that are as nice and friendly, but I've never been somewhere that I truly felt relaxed, unrushed, and calm. There are no children splashing in the pool and no wedding parties causing a ruckus - just peace and quiet, and that's exactly what I needed.

From the moment I drove through the gates and stepped foot onto the beautiful grounds, I felt an immediate sense of calm. Can you imagine a place where walking around in a robe is encouraged? Where you can go from the most decadent and healthy breakfast, to enjoying time on a hydrobike on the lake, to taking a nap in a hammock and ending your day with a meditation class? Oh, and if you're hungry, grab a few figs from the trees as you're walking around. I can't say enough great things about the classy service, the kindness of the instructors, the diverse and neat folks I met and the top-notch culinary experience. For the first time in years, I went to bed each night calm and at ease and woke up feeling refreshed and restored. I will most certainly come back for another staycation. It's what my mind, body and soul needed. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience!

If you care about the staff here, don t visit anytime soon. They have a skeleton crew working during the pandemic and the general manager is working them to death. All employees are required to work over time, and are suffering from major burnout.

You don t need to come here, especially right now. The owners expect them to handle the work of a full staff with probably 1/4th of the employees (if that), and they are still payed the lowest wages in the industry.

One of the best spas in US. Spent 5 days relaxing, meditating, renewing body and soul. Meals were all delicious. Service staff at all areas of Spa were pleasant and helpful. Lots to do with many available activities plus set spa treatments. Perfect venue to get away from daily grind.

Just got back from my trip to Lake Austin Spa Resort with my husband. I love the design of the cabins and the view outside. The water of the pool is just right. We booked for a massage and facial and we were impressed with how good it was. The facilities within the resort and the spa were all well maintained. We really felt at home here. The staff were very nice and accommodating and they were always ready to help their guest. The room service was amazing and the food tasted so delicious. We highly recommend this place and we will gladly go back here.

As an experienced spa-goer, I can honestly say Lake Austin Spa is perfection, heavenly. From the minute you drive through the gate, you feel a sense of peace and relaxation. Stress? now only a distant memory!

That plus, amazing creative spa treatments, delicious low-cal food (I thought I would be hungry but somehow the food is plentiful and low-cal at the same time and there's a frozen yogurt machine for a quick snack), and I really loved the endless options of classes - everything from all kinds of yoga and meditations, boot camp, 80's cardio, and pool classes, etc - but the best part: so many ways to do nothing - lounge on hammocks by the lake, stroll through the herb garden, relax on the chaise in front of your cottage.

If I sound like I'm gushing - I am. I felt all put back together - and then some! - and I can't wait to come back.

Spa facility was very nice and the treatments were good but the food was disappointing. Nothing special on the menu and food served was tasteless and overdone.

Called to get a few rooms this weekend for a family trip and was told they don't allow kids under 14 years of age?!?! What kind of family resort doesn't kids at their resort!

Been visiting LASR since 1993. Ever visit just gets better and better. Love all of Chef Stephane's recipes and menus. He is amazing.

An awesome place for a getaway and relaxation after a rough week. A couple of hours weekly does wonders for me and my wifey. We always leave in peace and relaxed ready for the next challenge life throws at us. Service could be a bit politer though.

I have been coming to this resort off and on for over the last 20+ years. I had not been for about 5 years due to traveling internationally. I received a day spa gift and decided to add 6 nights total. This is the first time the resort has been opened since closing in April; so there are a few minor glitches with reopening but the resort looks beautiful. The grounds are super lush, the food is too AWESOME, the activities are diverse and the treatments make you feel wonderful. They have a plethora of new water activities and water toys and they have cleared two areas for lake swimming. My dogs loved that since it was so hot. I also tried one of the new water massage treatments which was unbelievable. For those of us that don't stretch enough it is perfect. Most importantly, the resort puts their guests health first: they only accommodated 50% of total occupancy, exercised daily temperature checks, maintained a minimum of 6 feet of social distancing during dining and activities, required wearing masks, and there are sanitation stations everywhere. I would highly recommend coming to this resort if you are getting an itch to spoil yourself or celebrate an anniversary, birthday, graduation, etc. Book early.

Location is on beautiful lake austin. Tranquility, natural beauty surround you as you paddle board, go on a hike or Enjoy one of many of the spa services offered. Very helpful, nice staff.

The Lake Austin Spa is beautiful. However, the massage was probably one of the worst that I've had, and I've had quite a few. I was drenched in oil and I felt like the therapist was inexperienced and barely had any pressure despite being told I like it more intense. Felt like more of a rub down than a massage. Really disappointed considering the price. The only reason it gets two stars is because the ambiance and amenities.

I just love spa and this place, though a bit more expensive than other comparative places, offerred a good environment.

Love this place. Relax before your massage. Hot tub, steam room, sauna, or just relax and read a book. Massage therapists are outstanding.

I had an interview with Brittany, first she forgot the phone interview, but made an in-person interview with me then she forgot the in-person interview. When I came thirty minutes early for my scheduled appointment, after driving for forty minutes, I was told that Brittany was on a plane heading on vacation! Then to have the staff from HR tell me that I must have the wrong spa! I am not the one who is unorganized here, according to my job search I spoke with a Brittany with Austin Spa Resort and scheduled both phone and in-person interviews with her.

I pray that your service for your customers are a lot more proficient than how you handled me. To the very endearing and lovely maturer woman that I met, you were a blessing to meet, and speak briefly to. God bless you and may he heal your sister entirely from her fall.
