They do not answer the phones, do not return calls. They are not a good pay group to go through for health care. I am working for this company over 3 years at minimum hourly rate. They do not appreciate their employees, do not give raises. I'm very disappointed.

Been looking into having this place investigated because i know for a fact that they have workers that don't really like black people. a few months ago i got a call from a female that go by the name of K.C. Heitchue. and as soon as she heard that i was Black her phone all of a sudden got disconnected. So i called her back and she didn't answer so the next day i called and left a voicemail and she still didn't return my call. so i decided to wait a few more days just to see if i would get a call in it never happened. so after that i called AGAIN and left another Voicemail and the same thing happened i never got an answer or a call back. Smh. I don't care what anyone say because my nephew had this same thing happen with him but anyways if you ask me i think they need to check the people that they hire and see if they are racist before they hire them. If you are black do not WASTE your time with this company.IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY 0 STARS.

They do not answer the phones. They call you one time and never call you back and then they dont pay on the correct time. They are not a good pay group to go through for health care. I'm very disappointed this is not the first time I have had problems with them. Very un professional.

I was with this company for a year (2018) not a whole lot of problems until it came tax time. It is almost the end of February and the tax forms have still yet to show. You call this company and have a hard time even getting someone to answer, and when you finally do get to speak to someone they try and argue. And I am not the only one having problems with not getting their forms....they really don't listen nor care about their employees.

I recently applied for a position with the Lajoy Group. I had to leave a message because no one answered. Amy returned my call while she was away from her desk the same day. Then she actually followed up with me the next day like she said she would. I appreciate a company willing to assist me with getting employment. I look forward to working for them.

Ha! Looks like they somehow deleted my review! Maybe it was too brutally honest....

I've worked for this company. Best part was being paid on time. Worst part, was getting injured and having to deal with NOTHING but bs... from my calls NOT being returned NUMEROUS times. To them flat out telling me they WEREN'T going to give me the insurance companies info so I could figure out what was going on with my claim!! These people are unreal! Just thinking about my experience with these people makes my blood boil! It took me literally an entire week, multiple calls, and eventually getting ahold of someone and absolutely ripping her a new one before the insurance called me to review my claim....

Aunt millies bakery opened a factory location in m...

Aunt millies bakery opened a factory location in my hometown of Lowell, IN approximately April 2016. Aunt millies uses LAjoy group as thier hiring agency. My wife has been trying to get her foot in the door at aunt millies since before the doors opened, and her resume was on file for the job position as soon as they began accepting them.

My wife has experience working in a factory setting, as well as working both in a deli and in a kitchen. She has experience working with food products and is knowledgeable regarding food safety and sanitary practices. I would consider her to be a strong candidate for the position.

What follows is (as honestly and accurately as I can remember it) her actual experience trying to get hired.

Prior to the location opening she made a user account and uploaded her resume on the LAjoy group website. No contact whatsoever was made from lajoy group. Didn't hear anything. Called the LAjoy group phone number on the website. No answer from anyone, but there is a voice mailbox where you can leave a message for the operator.

Over the course of the next several weeks, she left several messages which clearly stated the purpose of her call and requesting a return phone call. No return phone call was ever received.

She had an aquaintence whose husband had been hired into the location; according to him there was a flier up on the bulletin board. It said that aunt millies was still hiring for production personnel and it provided both a phone number and email address for a recruiter.

My wife called the phone number several times over the course of the following week, trying both in the morning and in the evening.
Every time leaving a short message expressing interest in the job position and requesting a return phone call. None was ever received. During this time she had also been writing articulatly worded letters to the email address and submitted her professional resume as an attachment several times using various file formats.. She recieved no response from those emails.

Several months since the doors opened now, the job posting for production personnel is still up and active on the LAjoy group website. She calls the number from the flyer again. Determined to speak with someone, she calls at 0800 Monday morning. A woman answers. A glimmer of hope. Maybe some progress.

The woman on the other end of the phone says she is just coming into the office for the day, her computer isn't on yet; she takes down my wife's name and number and says she will call her back in about an hour. She doesn't. Wife tries to call the following day. No answer; the voice mailbox is full and you can not leave any messages.

She makes several more attempts to reach the woman again the remainder of the week, but she does not answer. The following week, the line goes straight to a busy signal 24/7. Doesn't even ring.

Back to calling the main number again. After a few more days of leaving messages, the Voicemail function is replaced with a message that says the operator is in a meeting and to please call back at a later time. You may not leave a message at this time. The meeting lasts several weeks.

Finally, I step in to help. My wife is frustrated. I have never seen a company so ridiculous. They cannot even be bothered to answer the phone. I call the LAjoy group phone number and start guessing random extension numbers leaving Voicemail after Voicemail. Sometime throughout this process, I get a young lady on the phone who says she works in the meals on wheels Dept, but she can transfer me over to a supervisor. The supervisor answers. He is well spoken but has limited information to provide other than that the recuiters' extensions are 105, 106, and 107. He also states that if you leave a message in the voicemail box for the operator that it just gets deleted and that it will not get forwarded to the appropriate person.

She tries the newly aquired extension numbers without any progress for a few days. Several messages are left. No answer. No return phone call.

0/5 stars.

This is in two parts- please read both:

This is in two parts- please read both:

They processed my pay from the State of Michigan for two months in 2015 and shorted me on hours and wage rate for over $119 on the single 2-month check they sent me. I didn't even have to complain for the Michigan D. H. S. to drop them and switch to another payroll distribution contractor. (One point)

This is about six months later, and I want to change my review. I realized shortly after writing the above (in the process of compiling SS-8 forms going back to 2015, an ordeal I recommend to no one) that The LaJoy Group was the only one of my three payroll providers that year that actually properly withheld all of my taxes. On the whole, I wouldn't mind trying them again and having a chance to sort out my hours and rate, rather than the tiny company that's paying me now, who are nice, but don't understand why I need my F. I. C. A. taxes withheld. (Changed to three points)
