The best church have ever been to! If they have 10 Stars I give would give it 10 Stars! I have nothing bad to say about it. Went to it for over 20 years until I moved and I miss it! Everybody is wonderful there. Everybody is helpful there. That go out of their way to help in any way possible even if you don't ask for it and they know you need it they help. I can't say enough good things about it there wouldn't be enough room. Raised all my kids and all my my grandkids in this church.

Calvary Chapels' over-all are excellent. Pastors are different, of course so the flavor of the church may reflect that. I went to Calvary Chapel Gwinnett in Buford GA for 14 years and then moved to Atlanta and went to 1st Baptist Atlanta for one year before moving here.
Rocky Mountain Calvary teaches the "Word" spot-on. You can go as you are, no need to dress up if you prefer not to. I have learned way more going to Calvary's than other churches I have attended. I believe it is because they go verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter through the whole Bible.
They have a great cafe' with reasonable prices, too! A nice place to hang out and get to know other Christians. Easy to get along with everyone.

This is a great church with a great staff, though help is needed. The Spirit is strong there and the message Eric spoke on was biblically sound and very clear and well spoken. Very pertinent to today's issues and he seemed well informed and up to date. I've been volunteering there for a short while now just to give back as I could in some way for them helping my family with food when they needed it. So I have had a chance to go through the entire church and meet just about everyone and it's easy to see that they are doing a good work for the Lord in many areas. Not once have I got a bad vibe about anything while there and this is very curious to me because every church seems to have a problem area in todays world. Not so in this church. I worked a little late for them last Friday and happened to still be there as they were starting a service so I stayed for the service and listened to Pastor Eric give a message. I was touched and edified so much that I plan to change my church membership and come to Rocky Mountain Cavalry and make it my church. In all my time volunteering for them or at the service, at no time was I asked for money or pressured in anyway. I see that they have collection boxes set up but there is no push for money, they leave it to ones heart in faith as I think it should be done. The above poster (Peter) who said differently is absolutely 100% off the mark with his comment and he must simply be hard hearted or have an agenda against churches in general. If RMC has any failings at all, it is being understaffed for all that they do. I'm going there to help because they teach grace though faith, they need help, and are good servants of the Lord and our community. God bless them and their ministry.

My favorite church in Colorado Springs! Pastor Eric is always right on the mark with his teaching and I always walk away with a new understanding. This is a very giving church through their food pantry for locals to providing for a whole community in Mexico through sponsorships (lol, I'm a sponsor)! The children's program is fantastic and the ladies bible study stays on task rather than turn into "hen parties" that I have found in other churches. It is a very welcoming and warm community of believers.

As a local web designer and family man, RMC cares about the community. Pastor Eric is the best person. He cares, loves everyone, and preaches in a way people can understand.

They post the sermons online and make live shows too.

The staff is friendly. Donny is amazing and Robert in the cafe is wonderful!

I hope to see you at RMC.

Whoever complains about this church is most likely in sin and Pastor Eric called them out on it...some of those one star reviews just disappoint me! Eric is a wonderful teacher and the staffs always been really nice to my husband and me. Not to mention the nice people who work at Awanas with my children. Loved this church ever since we moved here. Please don't listen to all that negativity because it's obvious why there's so few one-stars and so so many many five stars!!

RMC is a fantastic church. Pastor Eric s messages are well thought out and applicable. I do wish the church was a little more friendly to visitors. It might be due to COVID but I haven t been able to get to know people and usually do not get a lot of hellos. Their prayer team is wonderful though and it is a Christ-centered church.

I have been going to RMC sense the big move across from the bowling alley. I can honestly say that God has been blessing this church. I have been baptized and I got married through RMC. Eric married my wife and I. The Holy Spirit has convicted us. Making us want to be closer to GOD and to walk in the light. "Truth". RMC is a big church but heaven is bigger so don't let that stop you from coming. There is a lot of wonderful and blessed people that come to RMC to sum it all up. I love this church.

We've attended RMC for 10 years and have found it ...

We've attended RMC for 10 years and have found it to be an ideal embodiment of what a God-honoring, Christ-following, Holy Spirit-filled, and Bible-teaching church should be.

The leadership, staff, and volunteers are authentic; they are the real deal whether on stage or in-person they love and fear the LORD. They have a heart for the body of believers that call Rocky Mountain Calvary home.

We appreciate the verse by verse teaching as well as a contemporary style praise and worship that consistently enables attendees to honor the LORD and prepare hearts for the Bible study. We also appreciate the focus of evangelizing those who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ and discipling those that do.

If you are looking for a church that honors the LORD, teaches His unchanging truth unashamedly, and challenges believers to "Be Make Send Disciples" all within a welcoming, loving environment with many, many opportunities to get involved, serve, and fellowship give Rocky Mountain Calvary a try.

RMCC is a Nondenominal Church. The acceptance and love flows freely as you step inside. Pastor Eric reads from the NT verse after verse and explains the meaning simply. All are welcomed.

I choose this church because the teaching is really incredible. I have learned so much from pastor Eric, Dan Hooker, and my mens bible study teacher Jerry Hoepner. The cafe is a hidden gem with incredible food. So many small groups, volunteer opportunities, and I just feel loved and safe at RMC. Praise the Lord and I highly recommend people looking for a church to really get plugged in.

I have been attending Rocky Mountain Calvary since 2002. I absolutely love the sermons that are delivered by the pastoral staff. I have been through hell and after a family suicide the men's ministry pastor was there to pray with me and even delivered the funeral service which was a great comfort. However, that is as far as I can go. I was finally blessed by God with a wonderful woman in my life and got engaged last year. After taking the winter to work out details, we started our process of TRYING to get the necessary premarital counseling for the church to marry us in February. Over 2 months went by of us waiting, and contacting the church and leaving messages and waiting more. After 2 months we finally heard back and the excuse given was "sorry for the delay i've been having computer troubles". At that point we were e-mailed the forms to fill out to start the pre-marital counseling. Finally we felt the ball was rolling. Then after handing in the paperwork it took WEEKS and we still hadn't heard from the church about setting up a time for our pre-screening process.

Wouldn t recommend I was going through a very hard time and had little support here but rather judgement and not shown the heart of Christ, long story short my marriage was very abusive and had to call the cops multiple times on my spouse and all I got was condemnation for wanting to file for divorce abuse is biblical grounds for divorce anyone stating you need to stay in an abusive marriage who proclaims themselves as a Christian is therefore committing spiritual abuse. Very legalistic with teaching and followers. Not the true heart of Christ.

I'm trying to find a Church for me and my Family to get us back in God's hands and grace. I'm just confused that it states the Church is closed on Sundays? Isn't Sunday one of the days we go and pray and goto church? So if I can get some clarification that would be great

Had to write in response to Peter Mariscal's comment - I am not sure who he enteracted with here - I have attended this church since 2007 and I have NEVER heard staff talk about money once. They don't even pass an offering plate during services. So I am a little confused about the "money" comment.

Also, Eric teaches - verse by verse...and I love this!

I actually no longer attend this church. I was only here this time because my daughter was taking an AP test there. Apparently they let Doherty High School use their building. That was nice. I love the actual church service here. My issue is with their singles church. Very unpleasant experience. On the last night I attended, one of the pastors actually yelled shut up to another pastor. That was definitely not professional or Christian. The staff is kind of friendly. The church is so big, it's hard to build close relationships.

My husband and I moved to Colorado Springs almost two months ago. We quickly wanted to get plugged into a church that we could call home. After exploring different churches, I finally found one to call home at Rocky Mountain Calvary. The message was preached right from the Word and the worship was amazing. I loved that they had an altar team at the end of the service during worship ready to pray with people. They have a lot of events for all different ages for people to participate in. I can honestly say I feel at home here.

I've been going to this church for 20 years. Pastor Eric is the best , assistant Pastor Robert was confronted by me about the homeless witch I have on camera and will be on utube. He raised his voice, and stated i pretty much have to leave his church, if I was to confront him. Stay clear and make sure your tiding goes to our neighbors not around the world.

While it's a big church, it has a welcoming atmosphere. My kids love their children's church. The verse-by-verse teaching is exactly what we need, helping us to better understand and study the Bible. Eric is a great pastor with a humble heart, a passion for the Lord, and some great dad-jokes every now and again.

I've been attending RMC for over 8 years and I still love it. I've always felt very comfortable and welcomed at this church. Pastor Eric always has wonderful words of inspiration. He is a man that people can relate to, often referencing his own life struggles during his bible teachings. I encourage any one who is seeking a church to give RMC a chance.

If you want to go to a church where you learn what...

If you want to go to a church where you learn what the Word of God says, scripture by scripture, this is a church you will want to check out. Pastor Eric is knowledgable and passionate about teaching the truth. He is not afraid to discuss issues of premarital relations and issues that are "hot topics" in our society, such as homosexuality. He uses the Word of God and scripture to back up his views on such matters.

Worship is inspirational and current, with occasional hymns and a lot of current popular worship songs you will recognize from Christian radio.

There are home groups and Bible studies and many opportunities for families to get together for fellowship and study. The singles ministry is friendly, active, and passionate about studying the Bible. There are wonderful classroom teachers who will watch your child during service.

This is a tough post for me. I want to start by sa...

This is a tough post for me. I want to start by saying my one star review is based on my experiences, no one else's. Sadly, if I could, I'd give it zero stars.

I'm a Christian. I had gone through some very tough times, some my own doing, some not.

I heard of Calvary from a friend who attended. He knew I was inching my way back to church after previously negative experiences at another place of worship (controlling, cultish, abusive). I was in the middle of a tormenting storm that had left me emotionally, physically, financially and spiritually wiped out. I desperately needed people to support me and surround me with love and prayer.

Sadly, I did not get that. I was met with folks on the staff who doubted me, failed to help me, and a pastor who flat out pretty much avoided me. The worst experience ever, especially in my broken state.

This church simply does not follow scripture when it comes to aiding it's members. Especially when it comes to finances. It judges, witch hunts, and places blame instead of lovingly supporting and praying. It also has little monetary support and heavy policies in place to keep it at a minimum and making it difficult to get at all. All this inspite of the money it takes in.

It was a shame. I left quickly, realizing that the Lord would want me to be in a place of comfort and support. I really did all I could to get established. But I could easily tell they simply didn't trust me and they out and out refused to help on any level.

I'm sure the five star folks will think I'm just upset or at fault. That is a common theme there. Fine by me. But I know what I experienced and so does the Lord. I really wanted to call RMCC home. Sadly. I walked instead.

I love being a part of Rocky Mountain Calvary, the people are welcoming and make you feel comfortable right off.

I love that they teach right out of the bible. This has been a great place for my son who is learning disabled. He is able to understand the messages, think about them and give examples of how he can live them out in his own life.

Pastor Eric's heart for people is so evident and his example of walking out the word is very encouraging. We came to Colorado with so much brokenness in our lives, and RMC has provided healing and restoration in our lives.
