Beautiful place all year long for families. We love to snowshoe here with our kids during the winter months. During the summer and fall it can be pretty busy so if a lot of people bother you, I would avoid coming here during busy months. Also, be sure to pick up after your dogs.

Beautiful landscape, gorgeous stream that's perfect for fly fishing. Got plant to offer for hiking and biking. Very nice picnic area. Bathrooms were very clean (but no sinks or hand sanitizer stations).

Great views while hiking, geo caching, or mountain biking. Challenging but fun mountain bike trails. Easy riverside hike for all age groups, and just a short drive outside of Morrison, CO so grabbing a bite to eat is easy. Make sure to arrive at park before 8AM to ensure parking is available.

This is a great trail. Challenging in areas for bikers, but overall a very enjoyable ride with a moderate amount of climbing. Be warned that it is a very high traffic trail and of biking I'd suggest off-peak hours.

Great for all ages. Easy trails for small kids but also access to tougher trails such as the Bear Creek trail for mountain biking etc. Very convenient. Beautiful foliage and water. One of the trails takes you past Donovan castle which is always fun to see.

Really enjoyed our small hike here! The trail we followed is dirt with some rock, so perfect for my small kids. Lots of spaces to explore off the path and to play in the water. We didn't walk too far but had lots of fun.

Nice depending on when you go. The parking lot is sometimes completely packed. The trails are great for beginners, and a very family friendly hike. The little town near this home is so great. Stop in to one of their shops, they love tourist

Great park that is less than an hour's drive from the city with plenty of trails for all levels and ages. We hiked to the half way point of Bear Creek Trail and up to Panorama point which was a little under 4 miles. This is a shared mountain biking trail and seems to help limit the amount of foot traffic compared to other trails that are closer to the city. There is a lot of opportunity for bird watching with meadows were covered with wildflowers and butterflies. A gorgeous blue indigo flash caught our eye during our hike which we later identified as a Stellar Jay.

Very busy park. No fees. They don't take reservations. About a 2 mile easy walk along the creek. Lots of shaded areas. Perfect for a hot summer day. Picnicking along the way. People with Mt. Bikes. Bring your dog. Heavy presence of rangers along the trails. Follow the rules. If there are no parking spots left in the parking lot, that means the park is at capacity. If you park along the highway, you'll get ticketed.
