Cute little place to have a picnic. Public bathrooms are also a perk. Not as scenic as I'd hoped for. The drive to and from is more interesting. But good spot to stop for a bathroom break!

Beautiful place, much closer in than it seems. A must visit!
Amazing place the beauty is something else. I would recommend if your are trying to get away from the city
We enjoyed this easy relaxing hike. Please read the signs. People have been known to get lost.
Great family hiking. A few miles of trails, nothing too intense. A few miles out of Morrison.
Beautiful place all year long for families. We love to snowshoe here with our kids during the winter months. During the summer and fall it can be pretty busy so if a lot of people bother you, I would avoid coming here during busy months. Also, be sure to pick up after your dogs.
Nice perfect little hikes. Very well maintained but can get very very busy and hard to find a spot to park unfortunately
Great "easy" trail, wonderful for family coming out of town.
Beautiful place for the family to bond and get some exercise in
Really good hiking trails. There is also good spots to fish.
It's beautiful, but having cyclists permitted to go through the same small trails as people on foot is just annoying, especially when you have kids or dogs with you.
Book tour is amazing, love meeting so many interesting people
Super fun and easy. Kid friendly and all along water. Lots of shade and beautiful flowers.
Nice, easy hike with a back woods feel. Trail is dog friendly, but they have to be leashed. Go early as trail gets crowded and parking spaces fill up fast.
great place to go and get away, jut outside of idledale past Morrison! Dogs love it here! Gigi and Shea come here at least twice a week - can get crowded on weekends!
Calm peaceful. The gentle sound of the creek. The awe of mother nature her control of creation.
Nice easy trails mostly shaded with some great views and a beautiful little creek.
Awesome hiking spot. Not far from Denver so makes for a quick getaway! Can get crowded.
too many people, mountain bikers, crowded even for a weekday.
Beautiful landscape, gorgeous stream that's perfect for fly fishing. Got plant to offer for hiking and biking. Very nice picnic area. Bathrooms were very clean (but no sinks or hand sanitizer stations).
Great trails that are super easy. Perfect for kids.
Beautiful absolutely amazing breath taking hikes for beginners and experience hikers
Great local trail system. Easy to moderate difficulty. Hiking and trailing running
Always well taken care of park with a calming trail system near a river.
Pretty spot great river views but very close to the road so you hear constant car sounds
Great views while hiking, geo caching, or mountain biking. Challenging but fun mountain bike trails. Easy riverside hike for all age groups, and just a short drive outside of Morrison, CO so grabbing a bite to eat is easy. Make sure to arrive at park before 8AM to ensure parking is available.
Amazing trails for every occasion. This is a family favorite for us.
Excellent paths for walking, hiking or biking. The main path has picnic tables as well as branches off for additional paths. A stream flows near some of the path. Very popular in summer.
Great hike for kids or adults!! Easy and hard trails and beautiful, natural landscape.
Nice Trails and good for kids. Also had fun doing engagement photos here!
Great place but does get pretty busy. Good easy hikes, kid and dog friendly.
Love this place great for hikes but is very busy all the time.
This is a great trail. Challenging in areas for bikers, but overall a very enjoyable ride with a moderate amount of climbing. Be warned that it is a very high traffic trail and of biking I'd suggest off-peak hours.
Great for all ages. Easy trails for small kids but also access to tougher trails such as the Bear Creek trail for mountain biking etc. Very convenient. Beautiful foliage and water. One of the trails takes you past Donovan castle which is always fun to see.
Nice walking path, and beautiful creeks along the side but not as secluded as I wanted.
Really enjoyed our small hike here! The trail we followed is dirt with some rock, so perfect for my small kids. Lots of spaces to explore off the path and to play in the water. We didn't walk too far but had lots of fun.
Nice depending on when you go. The parking lot is sometimes completely packed. The trails are great for beginners, and a very family friendly hike. The little town near this home is so great. Stop in to one of their shops, they love tourist
I love it here. It's a popular location, so be prepared to see people, dogs, bikes, strollers etc. Still, it's so worth it.
Great park that is less than an hour's drive from the city with plenty of trails for all levels and ages. We hiked to the half way point of Bear Creek Trail and up to Panorama point which was a little under 4 miles. This is a shared mountain biking trail and seems to help limit the amount of foot traffic compared to other trails that are closer to the city. There is a lot of opportunity for bird watching with meadows were covered with wildflowers and butterflies. A gorgeous blue indigo flash caught our eye during our hike which we later identified as a Stellar Jay.
Very busy park. No fees. They don't take reservations. About a 2 mile easy walk along the creek. Lots of shaded areas. Perfect for a hot summer day. Picnicking along the way. People with Mt. Bikes. Bring your dog. Heavy presence of rangers along the trails. Follow the rules. If there are no parking spots left in the parking lot, that means the park is at capacity. If you park along the highway, you'll get ticketed.
Love going to Lair and bring my family as much as I can!
Easy and gorgeous hike. You can fish, picnic, hike, nature walk. This place has it all.
Sweet place to hike although care is required on one trail.
Great little hiking spot! It is a bit crowded but so many trees, waters, and trails to explore! This is such a kid friendly trail!
Great place to hike, and enjoy the foothills of Colorado. They have quite a few good trails. The only downside is that it can get quite busy especially on the weekends.
Easy hike that s close to town. Nice and clean hope it stays that way
It is good place for family walking trail with kids, walking along the water flow side. Kids love to play in water and picnic lunch, biking.
Great trails and some amazing views and rock formations at the top.
One of my favorite places to go :) miles and miles of beautiful trails
Nice variety of trails. There some open spaces and some shaded areas. I really like the water creeks running through the middle of the trail.
It was good till it started raining f the clouds and the park
It is a great place to play in the creek with small kids!
One of my favorite mtn bike trails but it can get crowded on the weekends
One of my favorites. Always super busy on the weekends so get there early.
Nice walk along the water for the first portion and love that you can take your dog.
Has a creek that runs by, a nice trail, beautiful scenery, and a castle
Get there early! If you arrive after 8am, parking will be an issue.
