All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the room was awesome! My only complaint was the access to the elevators and the temperature in the hallways. But I would definitely recommend the hotel and I would stay there again.

The building itself is very historical appearing, which fit the theme of the whole riverwalk. The WIFI experience was poor, along with when I tried to upgrade. But I did enjoy the patio attached to the room and just sitting and relaxing.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family. We had never visited San Antonio and wanted a getaway. We cannot express enough how much we loved staying at this hotel! Excellent customer service! And what really had my heart was how well my 2 small girls were treated. They were even presented with goody bags at check in. Great job Omni!

Valet service for $50/night, are you kidding me? Of course that's because you have unlimited times to leave. The pool has standing water all around it on the walk way. Puddles of water were still around the walk way surface by the pool, from the night before. Be sure and not to accidentally leave anything in your room when you leave because it will not be turned in by the cleaning crew. Not worth the price

Beautiful hotel in a great location for walking the Riverwalk and downtown! The staff are very friendly and helpful! We were surprised with a delicious tray of strawberries and wine to wish us a happy anniversary!

The manager of the restaurant was very unaccomaditing arrogant,we had to go to the hotel's manager. He was very helpful and addressed our concerns in a professional manner. He admitted that the food manager was to be dealt with. He graciously apologized and gave us 2 meal tickets. Pool too small, nothing special, no jacuzzi, fitness center, continental breakfast or snacks. Positive was view and location on river walk. For the price i could not justify. Sheraton next door was just as nice with guest services including continental breakfast, heated pool, reaction room with pool table, free snacks, tv,computers. At least one hundred less than la mansion. Considering every thing i would prefer the Gunter Sheraton.

We come to San Antonio every year around the holidays and this was probably the best San Antonio hotel we have stayed at in years! The fragrance when you walk in the door enhances the luxurious feel while they keep it traditional with the San Antonio decor. Everyone was so kind and helpful, we were in a great location for walking to explore the riverwalk, we will definitely be giving Omni our business again in the future! Thank you for everything!

This is a great hotel in an unbeatable location on the San Antonio River Walk. The property has some local architectural features, which are a definite plus.

The downside are the slightly dated guest rooms, and the smell of dust and mould emanating from the carpets. I think there is an urgent need for renovation.

The only brightspot in our stay was a Valet guy! ...

The only brightspot in our stay was a Valet guy! First off, was unable to do early check-in; which is fine because they were apparently completely booked the night prior. But when we show up to check-in at the normal time, we are told that our room isn't ready yet; and that it would probably be about another 30 minutes until it was ready! So my wife and I take a seat in the lobby; offered no complimentary drink at the bar, etc. Well, 30 mins. comes and goes, and no call. So I walk back up to the desk to check; was given no apology, not even told that the room was ready, the girl just started getting my room keys ready. I ask about our luggage that is being held in the parking garage until we go to our room and when it would be sent up. The girls exact words "I don't know. It depends on how fast the bell boys are." Get up to our room, 15 minutes goes by, no luggage. We are on a time frame here because we had plans and had not eaten lunch yet. I call down to check on the luggage. No apology, just "let me go check." ANOTHER 10 MINUTES GOES BY, and the luggage finally shows up as I pick up the phone to call back down. Was unaware of the closet in the room, so I ask the bell boy about getting an iron and board sent up. He proceeds to tell me that we can call down for one, but that they can iron our clothes for us too. I decline option 2, and call down. Well, come to find out that the door to the closet is indeed a closet and isn't locked (contrary to our initial belief), we just have to tug really hard on it. So now we look like dummies, and apparently their own employees don't know what they hell they are talking about. Elevator is slow as molasses, had to wait a few minutes every time as there is only ONE main elevator. Now, I am looking at my credit card, and the charge I was told would not be a charge (so long as there was no damage to the room) is charged to my card! I call to speak with a manager, I get put on hold by the manager to assist a customer. Was on hold so long (about 12 minutes) that I hand up and called back. Was put back on hold again immediately, for another 10 minutes before finally getting a manager. Manager again tells me I will need to be put on hold so they can assist a customer. I tell her that I have been on hold for about 20 minutes already; she says "well, we are really busy because it is our check-in time." No apology, no "what can I do for you," nothing. I STRONGLY DO NOT SUGGEST STAYING AT THIS HOTEL! AND I WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN! I spent $300 per night, and that is the service I received! I could have received better service at Motel 6 for $60 a night!

Great rooms, beautiful building, fantastic views, yummy food. Had a river view room, would recommend. Ate breakfast buffet, absolutely worth the price, eat outside for great view. Mysterious wet spot in room and $40 parking were what keeps me from giving it 5 stars.

Wasn't what I had hoped for. I understand real quality concierge services are disappearing, but it was non-existent here. Parking is $40 a night on top of the room fee. No free breakfast and room service was way way way overpriced. Nothing exceptional at all. Even the gym is off site. Stay off the walk and look for something cheaper and you'll be treated better.

Reservation errors were not corrected after numerous calls. The room was exactly the opposite of what I requested after many years of staying there. The staff were incomplete in duties and service repeatedly poor for such a "good" and pricey hotel. Restaurant had deteriorated dramatically in last year and meal very disappointing after >15 years of prior stellar performance. This property is in serious need to new management.

This would have been a five star except for our waitress last night at Ostra restaurant. Very unpleaseant. Acted like we were really putting her out, until she handed us the bill, then she got nice. too little to late.
The valet guys were very pleasant and helpful. Took our luggage and held it for us. The checkin people were very pleasant. Derek, who brought up our luggage to the room was very nice. Then again the valet when we left. Very nice stay.

We always stay here when visiting San Antonio. Service and valet parking is alway wonderful, staffs is so friendly and accommodating. We upgrade our room with the Riverview walk view when we can. The view is spectacular. It's been a hit and miss with the bathroom cleanliness but nothing that would bother me as I'm a clean freak. We stay this weekend and the only complaint I have is there were no hair conditioner's. I didn't realize it until it's was to late and I have long hair....Other then that I just loved it here.

This place is butt the mini bar smells like butt and the prices for the drinks are outrageous! Yet they force you to buy them because they don t allow anything else brought into the hotel and provide no vending machines also the ac is butt and when I walked into my room it smelled like butt and the pool is just plane butt because it s aways cold and the outside temp is 56 degrees. Also it looks like butt and they valet is actually really good so that s why I gave it one star but everything else is plane butt and they provide almost no outlets and there are also no cables on the back of the tv. The hotel is mega but put into one.

A really nice, upscale, traditional San Antonio hotel conveniently located in Downtown area and on the River Walk and near several restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked for directions and when we arrived and departed. They have a lovely pool area and fire pit to sit by at night. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. If you want an Authentic San Antonio Hotel experience I recommend you stay at the Omni La Maison !

It was all a very wonderful visit. Being right on the river walk was fun, as well as having a nice room where all the staff was very helpful and friendly. The water for the showers were hot and the rooms were clean.

Beautiful place, but for how expensive it was, you'd think the family room would offer more than a terrible pull-out couch. That being said, the place was cool, and right on the river. But the ultimate goal is always a good night's sleep and we did not get that.

Beautiful hotel on the Riverwalk. Nice room. Great service. Both the restaurant (Las Canarias) and bar (El Colegio) are very good. Its sister hotel (Mokara) across the footbridge has a spa and fitness room.

Had a GREAT visit to San Antonio. Our stay at the Omni La Mansion del Rio was one of the highlights of the trip. It's location, ambience, and South Texas charm phenomenal to say the least. A must stay when visiting San Antonio.

Nestled conveniently on the Riverwalk, this splendid hotel is everything you could hope for from a 4* star luxury hotel. Spacious rooms, clean, friendly staff and solid facilities, we really enjoyed our stay here. The proximity to the Riverwalk is the major draw, but if you're after a luxurious experience without paying silly money, this is a great option to go with. Word of warning if you are after a quieter stay, choose one of the higher floors as the lower rooms to do get a lot of street noise, particularly on weekends. The hotel offers valet parking at $39/night, which may seem a little high, but generally speaking, parking is pretty premium in this area. Check out the beautiful view from our 7th floor corner room.

This was an excellent for my meeting. We like historical boutique hotels for our group. The Riverwalk location is perfect. Outstanding service from the staff. This is the second time we have used the hotel for our group. Our 100 members all delighted in it again.

Our suite with a balcony was dated and had a musty smell. Shower head is not adjusted to the size of shower. Sofa bed is very uncomfortable and extremely old. We booked a package including sparkling wine and chocolates. They were not in a room on arrival, and when we called the concierge we were told that it will be delivered around 9pm. When we complained that it s too late, we were told that they are extremely busy and there are about 50 rooms before us... who needs a welcoming drink late at night?!
Breakfast was really good and was served in a main restaurant with beautiful tables and really good service.
Pool area was packed and we couldn t really enjoy. Overall hotel prices are way too high!
