If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!!! INCREDIBLE and extremely friendly restaurant! I'm not sure what I enjoyed more, the amazing food or the staff! One manager in particular, Massimo, has stood out both times I've gone here. He is one of the most accommodating, engaged and friendly people you will ever meet and makes a point to make each and every table feel special. This place really has it all whether you are looking for some delicious pizza and a nice drink with a couple friends or a really nice family dinner/ special date night spot, (the calamari and veal dishes are ridiculously good) I promise you will not be disappointed!

A very nice, dependable Italian restaurant. Large menu plus specials. I ve never had a bad meal here but also never had anything really outstanding. Middle of the road all the way. Very friendly wait staff. Reasonable prices.

To make a long story short don t go there. The waiter forgot to put in a order. I sat and waited for it. Nothing but bland food all the way around the table of 4.They should not have charged me for my entree. Gave me free dessert that was bland. Don t go there for bland and overpriced food.A waste of money. That place is a disgrace. How can people say they like this place?

We ordered pizza chicken fingers and salad for a party days in advance. Called the day before to verify and express how important it was to be delivered on time we were referred by the venue so we were confident they would be ok WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! After multiple calls we finally got the cold awful pizza salad with no dressing and horrible chicken fingers 50 minutes late when I called to talk to the manager he offered no resolution and hung up on me the venue is taking them off the preferred catering list because this is not the first time this has occurred these folks will not be in business long with this kind of customer service and rude behavior

My dealership recommended this place while I waited for my car. I enjoyed the lunch buffet and everything was great. Would definitely come back. I have to bring my husband next time for a quiet dinner.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the area. Everything we had was excellent. Pizza, artichoke appetizer, orecchiette, and eggplant were all outstanding. We ate at the bar and our bartender, Christina, was delightful, attentive and anticipated our needs (fabulous)! Prices are fair and service is great. Highly recommended

Just a wonderful Italian restaurant with exceptional service and a great menu. The ambience is homey and comfortable. The menu is extensive as is the wine list. Apparently it has been here for many years.

The food was good, expected more. The experience was a bit odd after having the fish I ordered cut in front of me. It was rather tasteless and lacked texture. But the potaros and veggies were amazing.

We recently visited for the Friday lunch buffet, which was really something special. We started with the mussels in white wine sauce; the mussels were fresh and tender, and the sauce, white wine, butter, tarragon and other herbs, and of course the liquor from the mussels themselves, was so sublime we asked for extra bread to mop it up. The leg of lamb was outstanding; juicy and tender and cooked a perfect medium rare. Also outstanding was the blackened swordfish in dijon cream sauce; in my experience it is very difficult to keep swordfish from drying out but this was moist and delicious. Vegetable risotto with summer squash, chicken cacciatore, roasted potatoes, and orzo completed the hot offerings; all were tasty and well-prepared but nothing out of the ordinary. Dessert was house-made and consisted of delightful cannolis and a sort of a cheesecake tart. Service was impeccable throughout; we'll definitely be back.

Amazing local, family-run restaurant that is doing everything right to keep their patrons safe during COVID-19. Plenty of outdoor seating, heat lamps, and polite mask-adorned wait staff. Stopped by for lunch and the chicken panini really hit the spot!

Good food, they had a Burrata with grilled peach appetizer that was delicious. I had the Veal parmigiana and it was very good (caveat: it was the first time I d ever had veal other than ground up and used in meatballs). Also had the Caesar salad which was also very good.

We went because we received a Gift Cert. The service is good. The food is WAY over priced (+$30 entree's). I had seafood over pasta -- the clams were the size of a dime and there was only a few pieces of shrimp. It tasted OK --but not worth the price. We were seated in a room off the dining room with was right outside the kitchen (they did offer to move us -- but we just wanted to eat and leave). I would go back again with a gift cert -- but there are many other (better priced and better portions) Italian restaurants (Fellini in Media is one of the best).

I remember well back in 1973-4-5 when I was just in my single-digit age yrs. when my late father (who died in June, 2010)/I would make several visits to where La Locanda's currently located when that place was Palumbo's Edgemont Inn and both my late papa/I would have drinks like Ginger Ale (I'd have soda there) and there'd also be some arcade game there

Fantastic food, wonderful atmosphere, great service. Reservation definitely required, for many people know how good this place is. Has one of the most extensive wine lists I've ever seen. Highly recommend.

My family of 13 just celebrated January birthdays at this incredibly fabulous restaurant last night. We hadn't been there in a while. I made a reservation for a private room (no extra charge!) The service was impeccable, the room could not have been better, AND the food was something we will never forget! We ranged from baby girl 4 weeks old, the eldest 78; the rest grandchildren and middle age. Everyone got something different like Wild Boar, Octopus, fantastic fish, steak, lobster ravioli, and so much more to offer....and absolutely NO COMPLAINTS! Pizza is also on the menu for those who want a simple meal. I know my kids will be going with their friends there soon!!

The grilled salmon with the citrus glaze was PERFECTION! The chicken parm and ravioli were also incredibly delicious. The waitstaff were very attentive even during our large office party. They made the whole luncheon! They were fun and helpful. The drinks were also great. We all raved about how great it was...and it's rare that 30 people agree on anything! We all were talking about it for days after the party. Thanks, La Locanda, for a great time! See you next year for our party but def sooner with friends, too! :)

From the time we walked in the door the bad experience started. The hostess was chatting on the phone and ignored us ,the waiter came to seat us up against the wall next to where they put things there were nats all over the wall .I ordered cheese Ravioli ,I got 1 cheese the rest spinach ,the sauce was very bitter the ravioli had hardly any filling .My husband meal was not good either .there were many other things wrong also. After we were done the waitress asked us how it was ,we were honest and said not so good, Then she said next time let me reccomend the pasta dishes..wow really you should of done that before we ordered. There will be no next time AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE..HOW DO YOU SAY HOMEMADE CHEESE RAVIOLI THEN SERVE SPINACH .SERIOUSLY HORRIBLE...
WE ARE ITALIAN AND THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST..WE HAVE EVER EATEN.
DOUBLE ZERO FOR THEM

Good morning Michael,

Good morning Michael,

I just want to thank the team for an amazing evening at my son's rehearsal dinner. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The sunroom provided the perfect venue to kick off our wedding celebration! People are still talking about the great time we had!

Thank you again!
