Big store very interesting, but not very advantageous price level for Canadians. Very large selection of outdoor items.

L L. Bean is a place my family has ordered off their catalogue for years! We are from Texas, so I was thrilled I got to go to the store and try stuff on. They have a sale section, which I found some amazing deals! It took me over 2 hours to walk through and the place is huge! They offer classes and excursions and have multiple buildings for what you are looking for! Definitely a place worth stopping at and making it a destination! Drove about an hour and it was definitely worthwhile. Highly recommend. People who worked at the store were welcoming and helpful. The two rock structures pictured are in the shoe section so you can test out the shoes on different surfaces. Very cool store!

Can a trip to Maine be complete without a pilgrimage to the original L.L. Bean store? Certainly not!

Top-notch anyway you look at it, including their Cafe.

This is the best outdoor lifestyle store ever. Their flagship store has everything. There are tons of people to help and there are two cafes. They are always open too.

We go here about once or twice a year. Sometimes you can get good deals on their clothes or other things. Going around the holidays is nice too.

People very nice and helpful.i found that they have mainly there name brand but warranty is outstanding

Customer service is very good and the store is open 24 hours. Anytime I have had problems with a product, LL Bean has resolved the situation.

Great place to visit for all kinds of clothing, outdoor kit and equipment. Sales staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Purchases can be mailed free of charge if they cost more than $50 and therefore eligible for home state purchase tax, 0% for me in New Hampshire.

24 hours a day shopping and the employees are always great.

LLBean is an awesome place to shop. I was able to get a great sale and add on additional savings because LLBean changed their credit card co. The Holiday shopping was easy. There is something for just about everyone here. We enjoyed their cafe' as well.

The sizes are alittle bigger than I'm used too but I am always satisfied with the quality of clothing and shoes and the pants and quality of shoes for men (my boyfriend ) is always top notch so thanks for that

Loved the flagship store. Have been a customer for about 35years. Mostly mail order and online as I live in Canada.
Lots of friendly staff available to help. Hard to beat LL Bean quality. Spent a fair bit of time in the camping section. Loved the variety of products and gadgets. Great quality camping gear.
Bought a down jacket and coat at a great price.
I am concerned about LL Bean longer term as the style of much of the day to day clothing is dated. Plaids, chinos, button down collar shirts don't have an appeal to Millennial consumers. I'm of the baby boomer generation and noticed many of the customers in the clothing section were 40's +.
Would like to see some more updated styles with the current quality.

LL Bean is a Maine tradition. Everything they offer is the best of the best. The customer service that is given by the staff can't be beat.

The famous factory store. Not much to say. If you like ll bean products you'll love the store. Right in downtown Freeport!

Sometimes the best deals are in the main store, not the outlet. Love the place.

The store employees were terrific, extremely helpful, but the amount of walking was unbelievable. It would be nice if you could rent a scooter/ motorized wheelchair.

A sprawling campus with every ll bean item you could want. Visit just for the experience even if you dont want to buy

Huge stores! It's this the "flagship" location? There was everything: clothing, shoes, camping gear, pet stuff, home goods and even a little cafe... definitely worth a few hours of your day!

This place is a must when anywhere near Freeport, Maine! The selection and customer service is exceptional. One of the best shopping experiences I've ever had.

Nice store and it made me appreciate the sale offers I get in the mail from them.

Has everything for your camping, hunting, and fishing needs, great clothing for the wilderness, however i was unable to find any normal sweatshirts (possibly out of stock?)

Wonderful sporting goods store. Will come back for our fishing supplies. Loved the fish tank where our kids we're able to pop up under a bubble and look around the tank.

Love this place. If you're into hunting and apparel this the place to go with unwavering warranties! Other great local shops and eateries. God Bless!

Nice atmosphere and great items for sale, but everything is way too expensive. I'm used to seeing pricy too, being that I Live in CT; at least it is high-quality clothing here.

Kids had a great time, just not as stroller friendly, then again Freeport itself really isn't

Everything LL Bean you could hope for. It has many different physical buildings that specify to different areas of life (home, fishing, etc.).

Very nice staff as well. There is ample parking, you just might have to walk a little to get to the appropriate section (e.g. hunting, shoes, fleeces, etc.)

Everyone here is happy because ll bean has created a fun experience. Very dog friendly and lots of dog lovers!

Open 24-7 something to interest anyone. Clothes, home decor, hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, hiking, and more.

They no longer guarantee their products for life. Sent in a bag for warranty exchange and the lady claimed that the reason I sent the bag in (holes from wear and tear and fabric running) was the reason I couldn t exchange it. When this happened with north face they at least gave me a percentage off a new bag. Won t be buying ll bean anymore.

WHAT A COOL BOOT!!! DROVE 15 HOURS FROM NC TO SEE THIS GLORIOUS BOOT AND GOSH DARN IT....IT LIVED UP TO THE HYPE. BOUGHT SOME VERY WARM AND WIND RESISTANT GLOVES TO BOOT LOL. Good times galore in Freeport, ME.

Horrible customer service, no communication, rude, absaloutly done shopping here as this is the third bad experience in a row.

Great selection of everything you need from shoes to hats and camp stoves to windbreakers

It's always a pleasure to go shopping at L.L. Bean. It's one of the few stores I can say that you get what you pay for. The quality of merchandise, service and variety is second to none.

Cant find anything that isn't way to expensive, I went to Cabellas and bought what I was looking for at half the price. Also some of the same brand names

Go to the free concert series. What a great company to host some pretty cool artists for everyone.

Not sure what it says about me, but every time I come here I cannot help but indulge in their clothing. Always quality and lasts forever.

So they are good to their word when they give you a life time guarantee! I had a pair of slippers given to me from my dad 10 years ago, wore them to death, and decided I wanted more! So I brought in these ratty, torn to shreds of my pair of slippers. After they confirmed that my dad had purchased them, they gave me a gift card for the full price of a brand new pair of the same slippers. And their store is super cool, and they had the best Christmas forest with reindeer that I've ever seen for free. I'm a fan!

We've enjoyed LLBean Flagship store's atmosphere and friendly community focused service for decades. The few times we've been less than pleased with a purchase, Beans has graciously refunded or replaced item.

I have always had a pleasant shopping experience here. Top notch outfit.
