LL Bean is a New England staple. Their clothes match the culture of the area so well. After moving to Maine from Texas, I couldn't wait to go to the flagship store. It did not disappoint. With multiple buildings, you could spend a day shopping all they have to offer. And who couldn't walk out of there without a pair of Bean boots?! I tried to but alas they did not have my size in the pair I wanted. Great place and they offer so many fun outdoor activities during the summer.

Very friendly and helpful employees. Very, very, very busy during holiday time. Almost impossible to find parking. Open 24 hours so best time to shop is late at night. Most items are overpriced, but the cost is worth it since the items come with a lifetime guarantee.

I love this institution which has become a symbol of the State of Maine...
and I enjoy many products in daily life with pleasure :))
In addition, this state's lighthouse adds an excellent beauty.

About the only thing good about this place is the scenery. Workers are snobby, management is ignorant. Products are too expensive considering they changed their guarantee policy. Also, following customers around and pushing them out of the way is what theyre famous for.

Great selections outlet store full of great bargains

New return policy is bad. Tried to return a broken fly rod that I purchased before 2014 for its life time warranty and was denied. I didn't save my receipt from 2014 cause you didn't need a receipt for a return then and how the hell was I to know that I would need it in 2018. I have been a customer for 30 years. I will never shop at LLBean again.

Love their products, can be expensive but definitely top quality.

Great place to visit the kids always love visiting Freeport and going to beans. It's a mainah tradition. If you come to Freeport you have to go to Beans. It's a wicked awesome stoah. All of our customers love taking the trip to Freeport to go shopping at LL Beans and a the stores. AYAH YEE YEE!

First time going to this place, didn't really buy anything but it was pretty awesome to look around.

I always enjoy going to the Bean and all the surrounding stores. They added a new section with several new stores. Wear flat shoes it's a lot of walking

Busiest time of the year and had quick and efficient customer service. Love their product first time visit to their flagship store. Found what I needed and I was out of there in record time. Since then bought 2 more items online. I'm sold on the old fashion customer service and the amazing quality product.

A jacket with an obvious defect noted on their website is no longer able to be exchanged for the exact same thing. They no longer stand by their products. Disappointing.

Seriously, this place needs a review? If you need camping supplies, or, pretty much anything else, you'll find it here. Great fun for a young family. I've worn their "wicked-good" slippers for years. Love them!!

Just ask the staff! If there is anything you need, just ask, the staff is incredibly helpful and will do anything they can to ensure you get what you need and have a great shopping trip. The store is massive but beautiful inside amd the location is great. During the summer they have a lot of free activities out on their lawn, from concerts to kids events.

The staff is friendly! The cafe offer delicious bites & coffee options with vegan substitutes! The whole place is gorgeous

Went to their Bat Talk during their Birding Weekend this was a really great event! The Bats were adore adorable and learned great facts about them too! They are actually incredibly helpful to the environment!

Best place ever! Bought my first bow here and customer service was beyond expectations.

Quality staff (James and Kian) were patient, calm, did research when needed...totally helpful. Quality goods (got my annual flannel shirt...I have 4 now, including the LL Bean tartan bought today), wonderful, cushioned-bottom socks, and treats from the displays by the registers (love me some blueberry jam!). Not an inexpensive trip, but always a good one. Thank you!

Great place to shop for being outside and outside activities.

I wish I would have had more time to spend here, and I don't really care much to shop! They have just about everything you could think of pertaining to the outdoors. Monogramming is available on-site, great coffee shop on lower level and plenty of friendly customer service associates! RV parking is available on Depot St. a few blocks away and we did see someone boondocking, however I don't know the specifics (whether it's truly allowed or not).

Huge store, rather group of stores, for the outdoors people. I was very impressed with all the items they had, they even had a home store which I was stuck in for 2 hours.
