A historical place that fits well with the architecture of the city

Interestingly, most places in the synagogue are personal. Saw some famous names.

The Great Choral Synagogue is not only a 120 year old monument of history with great interiors, but also a place of prayer and communication of the great Jewish community and centers of various educational and charitable programs.

This is the place where I am always happy to visit wonderful rabbis. I am glad that I belong to them.

Brodsky Choral Synagogue is a very interesting and ancient religious, cultural, architectural ... object. The Communists turned it into a puppet theater ... To the right of the entrance is a shop where you can buy kosher wine or other products.

Everyone is welcome, just need to go through a metal detector for safety reasons.
Inside it's a bit chaotic - there is a restaurant, washrooms, some corridors and always some people running from one place to another, but that made it just more authentic and alive for me.
Beautiful synagogue and if you're in this area, a must visit.

The largest synagogue in Kyiv was opened in 1898 to mark the anniversary of its sponsor, the famous Kiev philanthropist, millionaire-breeder Lazar Brodsky. The building was designed by engineer Georgy Schleifer. Since the mid-1920s, various cultural institutions have been operating in the premises taken away from the Jewish community, in particular, in the 1950s, the City Puppet Theater was located here. At the end of the 20th century, the Brodsky Synagogue again became a house of worship

chabad run but well established and frum shulll with a kosher shop, mikva & restaurant on the block. their is heavy security to gain entry. multiple minynim a day . it is city centre and is great for Simchas and other religious occasions . My thoughs are, def pop in for a prayer or to the restaurant.

The Jewish hearth in Kiev, once a very Jewish city. At the bottom do not forget to visit the kosher cafe ... Ukrainian borsch ... Must have ...

The Brodsky Central Synagogue is located a few minutes walk from Khreshchatyk.
A real Beit Chabad, with infrastructure, community and rewarding activities.
The first time I went on an excursion 20 years ago after the restoration, then 10 years later they made me a Brit mila there, and for more than 10 years it has been like my home!
I highly recommend visiting in various aspects (and praying and eating, and on a tour, etc.)

Chabad Synagogue Kiev a place of worship with inspiration

Very nice, large synagogue with the kosher restaurant. Not necessarily cheap but very tasty and nice and cozy.

Old-fashioned, like a soup kitchen, none of the employees speak Hebrew.

People are friendly, but treat strangers with caution. On all questions interesting me, I got the answers in full. Thank.

Beautiful synagogue in the center of Kiev. Kosher food available down stairs. Very warm and welcoming when in Kiev. Definitely worth a visit. I have been there and it is such a great place to visit. They will be so happy for you to come to visit. One of the best places on your way around the world. A very special thanks for Stav who welcome into the synagogue and helped me with Tefillin!

The meal at the restaurant during the Corona period is in disposable utensils and plastic. The price is very expensive relative to restaurants in Kiev probably because of kosher. The food was delicious but not worth the price.

Nice place but the invitations are sometimes confused.
