Bad teachers, only half explain topics or are often corrected by good students.

Organization very bad, no cheap parking.

Unfortunately I can no longer recommend the school for various reasons. Marketing moderately a good and solid appearance when promoting courses and further training, but the implementation leaves something to be desired. You only respond to suggestions for improvement very sporadically and you notice that a well thought-out concept is missing. Can only write from my personal experience in the training course to become a technical businessman. And the best thing is: We get a business management course including marketing, personnel management, infrastructure, etc. conveyed and notice that this is not even implemented internally at the school. And if you experience this as a student and also give feedback without specifically addressing one, this is very questionable. So a CIP recording and implementation apparently is not aimed at.

Very good lecturers with close practical relevance. Active integration of state-of-the-art technology with pleasant pedagogy.
With humor and dry material is taught playfully.
With a good, broad further education offer one likes to push the school bench longer.

Have now attended an adult education for 2 years.
Most of the teachers are really great.
Unfortunately, this is overshadowed by the catastrophic organization.
At the presence check there are still people who have never started. We have forgotten a subject, now it is squeezed in during the holiday season.
We get different information from all sides. Etc. Etc.
School well organization flop therefore 3 stars.

From 2014 to 2017 I studied at the Higher School of Marketing (HFMK) and Communications. The school building is centrally located, the lecturers knew what they were talking about and the practical relevance was top. In these three years I learned a lot about the different subjects (Marketing, Sales, Communication, Accounting, Organization, Strategic Management etc.). The rooms were all (the ones I visited) bright and modern. I can recommend the HFMK and the Handelsschule KV Basel.

Why did you decide to become a dipl. Marketing Manager HF decided and fulfilled your expectations?

It was important to me to complete a practical and wide-ranging marketing education in Basel. The proximity to the station and transfer work with the various partner companies (transfer of theory and practice) have met my expectations. The direct and personal contact with the lecturers, who have a current connection to the business world, was also a great plus.

The training was extra-occupational. How did you perceive the balancing act between job and course?

In my view, the balancing act is a triangle. In addition to work and school, the private environment is indispensable. Of course, this will not be able to be maintained to the same extent, but it still has to be taken into account. With my workload of 70% it was possible and yet at the upper pain threshold. Certain fellow students worked 100% throughout their studies. I admire this until today. 45% of my class did not graduate. I think that was crucial for all of them. Long-term planning is inevitable and important. The relation to the theory is always higher, if one works additionally. The aha effect is the largest and most intense. Therefore, I would recommend to all, despite the high cost, this model.

I can only recommend this school! Have gained basic knowledge and consolidated my experience in (online) marketing and sales and expanded it with new, current content. You can tell that many of the lecturers are practitioners themselves, the content is conveyed in a tangible and practical manner. 8 weekly lessons are a lot, but it was worth it.
