Why did you decide to become a dipl. Marketing Manager HF decided and fulfilled your expectations?

It was important to me to complete a practical and wide-ranging marketing education in Basel. The proximity to the station and transfer work with the various partner companies (transfer of theory and practice) have met my expectations. The direct and personal contact with the lecturers, who have a current connection to the business world, was also a great plus.

The training was extra-occupational. How did you perceive the balancing act between job and course?

In my view, the balancing act is a triangle. In addition to work and school, the private environment is indispensable. Of course, this will not be able to be maintained to the same extent, but it still has to be taken into account. With my workload of 70% it was possible and yet at the upper pain threshold. Certain fellow students worked 100% throughout their studies. I admire this until today. 45% of my class did not graduate. I think that was crucial for all of them. Long-term planning is inevitable and important. The relation to the theory is always higher, if one works additionally. The aha effect is the largest and most intense. Therefore, I would recommend to all, despite the high cost, this model.
